Kane has always seemed like one of the more professional workers in WWE. With all of the backstage happenings we hear about, I don't think I have ever heard of any type of incident that has involved Kane. It'll be tough to see him leave, he was a solid member of the roster.

I think this Would've been much better.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5W2RGkuf4QI A.J. Styles vs. Christopher Daniels vs. Samoa Joe This is the match you've probably heard alot about and it lives up to all of the hype.

TOO COOL! Are there any vids of Samoa Joe dancing? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2AFNSy8ZOkg There is his match against Jushin Liger complete with the dance during his entrance, if that is what you were talking about.

I think the six-sided ring remark was more of a jab at TNA than it was a hint at who the opponent could be. I wouldn't be shocked to see someone take a jab at TNA and say that no one from a six-sided ring had the balls to face Kurt Angle.

If Homicide were to be signed by ECW, it would be a pretty big loss for RoH. What has been the best Danielson/Joe match thus far? I have their First Anniversary match.

It was from Michael Cole and Tazz's radio show on Howard Stern's Sirius Radio channel. I'm sure he said worse things throughout the week that the show aired.

I would put C.M. Punk against Homicide on the undercard and let them tear the house down. I could see Homicide used like New Jack, except with ALOT more talent. It would be a grave mistake to book Homicide in the vein of New Jack. Aside from the obvious similarities, they aren't that identical. Jack was an atrocious wrestler but he had loads of charisma to mask that. Homicide has that charisma and he'd get over like gangbusters in ECW with Heyman's brush. The upside of Homicide is that he isn't one dimensional. I would be very disapointed if he's just booked as a hardcore gangsta brawler. I'm not saying that he should strip himself of his identity, but if he's just used in brawls, I'd be disapointed. They would have Homicide as the perfect image of the NEW ECW. A hybrid of technical skills alongside a vicious streak that can easily snap and fight you. Punk/Homicide would be a mistake going into it cold. That's a key match for the future if Homicide does sign on. I do think Punk will be the lone new star to arrive @ ONS2. I wouldn't model him exactly after New Jack. Keep the hardcore side of it, a side that Homicide rarely has an opportunity to show in the United States. Give him some catchy theme music that will get the crowd hyped. However, give Homicide the opportunity to show what he can do in the ring as well which is where I believe he will take the "hardcore gangster" gimmick to a level that New Jack could never hope to reach. It will show that Homicide can match a guy like Kurt Angle move-for-move inside the ring and a guy like Mick Foley chairshot-for-chairshot outside of the ring. If he can throw in a couple of balcony dives, that's even better.

I suppose that little shoulder brush that Charles Robinson did after the pin was a sign to the back that there may be some non-kayfabed trouble?

Do you have the video? Link? Read the result on ObsessedWithWrestling.com, it must've been shortly after his title win at No Mercy '00.

This could be an AWESOME show! Abyss vs. Brother Runt should be good, they'll probably follow the Mike Awesome/Spike Dudley formula. Jerry Lynn vs. Petey Williams should be a great technical wrestling match. Can you imagine the heat Jeff Jarrett will draw in Philadelphia against Rhino? That may be reason enough to see this show. Shark Boy vs. Simon Diamond should be an entertaining comedy match. Christy Hemme is NEVER a bad thing. I've heard that Team 3-D could answer America's Most Wanted's challenge. I think they could put together a very entertaining, arena-spanning brawl. A.J. Styles vs. Christopher Daniels vs. Samoa Joe, if they can match their performance at Unbreakable this could be a Match of the Year Candidate. If they can somehow exceed their performance at Unbreakable, you could see the greatest match you have seen in a very long time.

Some guy with the word "Curry" on his pants? That couldn't be who I think it could be...could it?

Anyone else think that Vince McMahon was the biggest hypocrite ever in his criticism of WCW? He always attacked the fact that WCW had older stars in the main event, yet as soon as those older stars were available on the market he brought them in at a record pace. Ric Flair in late '01 Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, and Scott Hall in early '02 Roddy Pipe in early '03 We also shouldn't forget the fact that the same problem WCW had which Vince McMahon constantly made fun of, their inability to create new stars, is now what has McMahon's company on a slow and steady decline. I would release every talent on the roster that was a main-eventer in WWE or WCW from '97 and earlier. No more Hulk Hogan, Mick Foley, Shawn Michaels, etc.

I just saw that Kurt Angle had a match against Christopher Daniels WAY back in '00 in UPW. Has anyone seen this match?
-
Probably won't be too different from what the Brood was. It could be a successful way to introduce two new talents, the last four guys that they paired with Gangrel turned out pretty well.
-
That is the post-show dark match, doesn't really have any effect on the actual show. The same match has been promoted for the local RAW that is the night after One Night Stand.

This is the quote from Mick Foley's book: Foley had earlier mentioned that everyone from Billy Gunn to Darren Drozdov had checked on him.
-
Foley said just about every friend he had in the WWF checked on him, except The Rock.

It was two different events: Ken Shamrock defeated Owen Hart and Triple H in a three-way match on June 29th in a match between three King of the Ring winners who thought they were the best. On July 6th, Mabel attacked Ken Shamrock after a match with Jeff Jarrett. Later in the night, Shamrock defeated Mabel. -

Might have been Shamrock, cause I believe both Owen and Mabel were a part of it. It was a triple threat match between Ken Shamrock, Owen Hart, and Triple H a week or two after Shamrock won the tournament. -
Stuff like that makes me miss WCW. They did ALOT wrong, but they also did some great things. Sting vs. nWo may have been one of the greatest storylines in professional wrestling history.

I wish someone would put Kane's return from back in '00 on YouTube. The crowd was hot for that ten-man tag team match and Kane's return topped everything off.
-
Yeah, I believe even Mick Foley has stated that he felt The Rock went a little overboard with the chairshots.
