Probably didn't help Vince Young's confidence, he was sitting in the crowd for the game.

Duke only needs one weapon, J.J. Redick. And they sure did counter Williams, held him to 20 points.

So . . . what are the chances of Reggie Bush NOT winning the Heisman?

We know Vince Young will have atleast one vote, Ricky Williams'. When asked who he voted for last year, Williams said his mother probably voted for Cedric Benson. -
Thanks for clearing that up, although if he gains new power after each death he should be invincible by now. He was killed by Yokozuna in '94, Kane in '98, Steve Austin in '99, and Randy Orton in '05. Thus far, the only gained power was the ability to drive a motorcycle after death number three.

I have alot of respect for this crowd, they are still pumped up after all the shit they have had to sit through.

Makes you wonder that if Undertaker has always had this kind of power over people, why did he wait until now to use it?
-
Wonder if WWE ever thought about the fact that if all of this is happening in Randy Orton's mind, why are we seeing it as well?

I have figured out one thing from tonight's Smackdown, mid-90s Undertaker doesn't work in 2005. And Josh Matthews being possessed...yeah, this show sucks.

Eric Staal may be one of the funnest players to watch play. In just his second year in the NHL, he makes it look so easy.

If it was real, WWE putting Edge and Lita together on television shortly after the whole breakup with Matt Hardy was rather tasteless. However, with the way everything has played out I still question whether that entire thing was real or fake.
-
I don't think fans cared enough about the team in the first place to have any kind of reaction to their breakup. It's not like they were Edge and Christian or the Hardy Boyz. Fans probably thought Cade and Murdoch were local talent brought in to job to the WWE talent.

I'll say that Shelton' mother and Vince McMahon share an odd altercation with each other backstage eventually leading to Vince McMahon revealing that he is Shelton's father and that Shelton's mother is a dirty whore. Shelton will be released by WWE shortly thereafter without getting any type of revenge.

Atleast all three are used to injecting things into their asses, so prison wasn't too tough of a transition.

Jimmy Jacobs throws IWA title down

I don't think New Jack gives a damn, he'll try to murder anybody he is put in the ring with. -
How could any game outside of Durham be considered an extra home game? There are far more anti-Duke fans around the country than there are pro-Duke fans. The biggest problem with Duke is that they have no defense against centers. You look at the numbers of Indiana's center and Virginia Tech's center, they pretty much carry their teams. Shelden Williams can hardly be aggressive as he has to worry about staying out of foul trouble.

I always love how networks will make primetime games that look good on paper, but by the time the game actually happens it is between some of the worst teams in the NFL. Like the Sunday Night Football game last year between Cleveland and Miami, it was painful to watch. I still don't understand why ESPN dropped the Saturday night game between the Falcons and the Panthers. They only delivered one of the best games of the year last year.

I really thought Mick was going to bring in Yurple the Clown, that would've officially topped this whole scene off.

There we go, Boogeyman brings the goodness.
-
Ouch, why bring up death?
-
Edge getting owned on the mic.
-
Edge and Lita comedy = Give me more stuff from the courtroom.
-
Whoever likened this to a sitcom was correct, a very bad sitcom. We need a Boogeyman appearance to truly make it the worst segment in history.

"Honest to Allah opinion." Good one.

Yeah, and his ex-wife bringing up the steriods, spousal abuse and the 1 million owed to the IRS is all a work as well..... Dam that HHH Living in North Carolina, I can tell you that it certainly isn't a work. I was surprised to hear about some of his other run-ins with the law in the past.

Lawler breaking out the knowledge, who would've thought Chavo was related to Eddie?
