A casual wrestling fan wouldn't know anything about the card, they would see "Eddie Guerrero Tribute Show" and possibly expect an appearance by Chavo Guerrero or other family members. RoH didn't need to rename the show unless they were going to have something special.

I doubt you can blame the surge in ratings on fans wanting decent wrestling. People were just interested in Eddie Guerrero's death, it got more press than anything in wrestling the past few years so that probably drew in a crowd.

Not exactly sure why TNA was brought up, the pay-per-view wasn't titled Bound For Glory: The Eddie Guerrero Tribute Show. TNA did what RoH should've done, have the tributes throughout the show without shamelessly tagging on the name in hopes of selling some additional tickets.

Great to see PWG branching out and with that lineup, they have a great chance of putting on some very entertaining shows.

I believe they call the ref over and say, "if I act like I'm talking to you, cynical people will think I'm complaining about the call."

I still don't understand why I'm supposed to pull for a cocky Memphis player who got exactly what he deserved when he missed those free throws last year. As far as J.J. Redick goes, hear some of the stuff the crowd says about the guy and you'll understand why he is on edge. I can understand not liking Duke, but what some of the fans say to the kid is downright disgusting.

Randy Orton is great when getting his BUTT kicked, so he should be able to have a watchable Hell in a Cell match against Undertaker. Randy Orton also isn't afraid to take some crazy bumps, see his match against Mick Foley from Backlash '04, so we should get the big fall that usually comes with HIAC matches. Could definitely be better than most of the recent editions of the matchup.

It's a shame Bret Hart and Sting never had a great match, even in '99 they still could've put together something great given the time and motivation.

The very first wrestling I ever saw was Sting fighting the entire nWo back in mid-'97 while flipping through some television channels. That is why he has always been one of my favorites in wrestling.

They couldn't even use custom graphics on the stocking. Atleast make the superstars look happy, it's the holidays. Undertaker's look gives you the feeling there's a dead puppy in the stocking or something.

I don't feel alot of WWE pay-per-views, I just don't start topics about them.

I think rehab is the obvious first step for any talent found to have done any drugs. Their willingness to stop the habit may be the deciding factor to them staying or being released. Vince McMahon is pretty loyal to his talent, he wouldn't just dump them with their problem. And why would McMahon try to hide Triple H's problem, wouldn't that be the guy he wants to help the most since Triple H will likely take over WWE down the line?

Whatever they do, they need to keep Mike Tenay as he is probably the best play-by-play announcer not named Joey Styles. Perhaps they should give Tenay a show he commentates by himself, see if it could work. Could Shane Douglas be a possibility, he did a good job sitting in at commentary back in ECW.

TNA is trying to find an audience, so using a guy related to Shawn Michaels is probably a good idea. If a casual fan is watching the show for the first time, they will instantly gain a little interest when they see that there is a relation between this company and the company they've watched before, in this case WWE. People are more likely to watch a promotion with names and faces they recognize, than a company full of talent they've never heard of. I agree with you that Traci Brooks makes him standout, but it isn't her talent as a manager that sticks out to me.

I don't think WWE can have two consecutive pay-per-views where non-wrestlers don't wrestle.

Team RAW vs. Team Smackdown could be such a great match, but they ruined it by throwing in completely random people.

Thousands of times superstars are beaten down in the ring, Lawler does nothing, the one time Stratus is in danger he runs off like he's Superman.

Eric Bischoff needs to seriously look into his security, people just seem to be walking through walls.

Perhaps that is what happens when you fail a drug test, masked men just show up and take you into the darkness...never to be heard from again.
