People on this board were making this guy out to be the next major star in WWE. I saw him last Friday and I was unimpressed. Not only is his entire gimmick bad but the crowd was completely silent during his entire appearance. If this guy is the future, I'd like to find a time machine.
-
How about Dwayne Jarrett? That guy is great and could be a big-time wide receiver prospect whenever he enters the NFL.

Hurricanes - 3/Devils - 0, after the first period. New Jersey's arena is pretty much empty.
-
Good to see you're taking the loss well.
-
When is this show supposed to come on? I thought it was at midnight.
-
Considering the Mike Tice situation, Butkus probably figured he could get paid and laid in Minnesota so why waste his time with high schoolers.
-
I'd love to see them bring in La Parka. Last time I saw him, he had slimmed down and could still tear it up inside the ring.

What is it with WWE making some black wrestlers have "scary" characters anyway? Last year we had Booker Shango (briefly, but it never went any further than "the magic bag" to "help" him against The Undertaker in a PPV match), this year we have Marty Wright as The Boogeyman. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I thought Wright looked like more of an American Indian, possibly from the same tribe as Tatanka. Perhaps Papa Shango and Tatanka moved into a tent together and after a few months, without a woman, they started to get a little desperate. One painful night later...HERE IS...THE BOOGEYMAN!
-
Actually, I think it's "13-year-olds on their moms' computers". <{POST_SNAPBACK}> "...with porn in the background." I doubt Coachman really has any beef. I guess he just likes getting "internet geeks" upset.
-
Well, it's not like anyone is going to notice him outside of professional wrestling so he can just get dentures. Unless, he insists on wearing that entire getup everywhere he goes. At that point we can't call him stupid, we must refer to him as "special".
-
To assume top guys don't get fined is kind of crazy. We probably don't hear about it because they don't make as much of a fuss about it.
-
Mock funerals are already in bad taste, so why not just take it a little further and mention someone who is really dead?
-
In '03-'04, Eric Staal had eleven goals in 81 games. Through four games this season, he already has five. He is definitely the present and the future of the Carolina Hurricanes.
-
And I guess since Eddie Guerrero failed in his attempt to take Rey Mysterio's son away from him, he is a good guy again.
-
No way that crowd popped when Teddy Long said the match is happening next week. Who cheers that?
-
I am not looking forward to the Batista/Randy Orton feud we'll inevitably get. And it's good to see that Randy Orton isn't too upset that his dad cost him a shot at the title.

How long before WWE has a bunch of white guys with skates and empty bottles running around as The Warriors.
-
I think this little scene would've been better served in a dark alley, instead of a well-lit office with a general manager fighting back laughter as he was talking.
-
Nice they found something for Tatanka to do.

Yeah, I've learned that Smackdown is underrated and Mr. Kennedy is overrated. Boogyman, got to love him.
-
Minis sucked in '97-'98, they still suck today. I'd rather watch Linda McMahon attempt to act than minis displaying one million ways to apply an armdrag.
-
Yeah...Nunzio has a hope in hell.

I was just thinking, wonder why no one has ever had a wrestling character based off of Two-Face from Batman. Seems like it would fit in perfectly on Smackdown, a wrestler that goes around allowing the flip of a coin determine who he fights and who he doesn't...on second thought, I guess the creative team wouldn't want to reveal their secrets.
-
The crowd, showering Mr. Kennedy with indifference.
-
Alot of people around here like Mr. Kennedy, but the crowd seems to have collectively gone to the bathroom when he came to the ring.
