Why are all of Smackdown's legitimate World title contenders battling for the United States title?

I say send Chavo Guerrero back to Smackdown, make him Mexican again, and pair him with the Mexicools. Much better than the crap they have him doing now.

Kind of funny that talent from WCW and ECW in the Mexicools is more popular than homegrown talent like Heidenreich and MNM.

If they took guys off the show like Shane Douglas and Terry Funk in favor of Bryan Danielson, that would counteract everything the show is supposed to be about. These guys know they aren't going to have the fans chanting "Match of the Year!", it is the atmosphere that makes these types of shows interesting. If people want to see great wrestling, they can go to Ring of Honor. If they want to relive one of the best "independent" promotions of all time, they go to Hardcore Homecoming.

If they knew the fine system was in effect, why exactly would they get mad after showing up late? Maybe Johnny Ace was driving the bus with all of them in it and purposely made them all late because he needed some money for the strip clubs.

Yeah I watch U.S. Indies and every show I've seen has commentary. Even when I watch Japanese tapes, I would rather have Japanese announcers screaming commentary I don't understand than just silence.

Hurricanes rallied after the play by Wallin. In the second and third periods they looked like a completely different hockey team, skated faster, hit harder, getting much more shots on net. Beat the Capitals 7-2 in the Hurricanes best overall game this season. Going into the game they were the only team in the NHL to have not scored a powerplay goal. I believe they had three powerplay goals in seven powerplay opportunities last night.

Shawn Michaels probably did one of the best jobs of selling it at WrestleMania 14.

I think you should all just be happy you're getting a Bret Hart DVD. A few years ago no one would've thought this would be possible, so why not just enjoy it for what it is. Are you really going to argue with Bret Hart himself about what HE chose to put on HIS DVD. If he liked the matches, I don't see any reason why I can't.

Delhomme has looked good throughout most of the season. People want him to incorporate other players into the offense, yet neglect to mention the fact that when he has tried to do that the guys have let him down. I believe it was against the Dolphins when Keary Colbert let about two or three passes hit him in the hands and fall to the ground. As long as Steve Smith is healthy, I'm confident in our offense. I would like our defense to learn how to tackle some time this season.

Hurricanes had a delayed penalty, so the goalie went to the bench. One Carolina player passes it out to Nic Wallin, who tries to skate around with it and ends up knocking it into the open net. Staal just scored to tie it up.

Saturday morning show on USA, pretty much Monday Night RAW on fast forward. Highlights all of the important matches and storylines.

I can understand wanting to get the fans interested, but these ESPN announcers get a little too excited. Hearing their voices screech like they just saw Elvis Presley on the sidelines after every play is pretty annoying.

Not sure why they started him against the fucking Colts. Why didn't they just put a gun in his mouth and pull the trigger? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Who would've thought, last year, that the Colts' defense would be something to fear.

David Carr is well on his way to breaking his own NFL record for sacks in a season.

In terms of performance, I would put the Panthers' Steve Smith right up there with the other top wide receivers in the NFL. He is amazing to watch.

Carolina has really found them a future star at goalie. I also think Eric Staal has a bright future, like the idea of giving him the role as leader early in his career.

It could be worse...far worse.

Talk about the deathmatches, that'll get them interested. Maybe take in a strip of barbed-wire for each of them to rake across their hands. I bet you'll get extra points for getting the students involved.

Why was Christopher Daniels relegated to a three-way with Azrieal and Matt Sydal? Was there some sort of storyline behind this or did they just have nothing better for him to do? And why wouldn't you use that match to put over one of the other guys, since they have a much brighter future in RoH than Daniels. I remember A.J. Styles/Bryan Danielson from Main Event Spectacles, the match really suffered without commentary. I don't care how annoying they are, announcers make a match a whole lot easier to watch.

Cam Ward was getting alot of press around here before the lockout last season and prior to the beginning of this season. Everyone within the Hurricanes organization feels he will be the future of the team at goalie. There was also a nice backstory where Cam Ward finished second to Sidney Crosby as player of the year in a Canadian league a few years ago, last night Ward got a chance for a little revenge by denying him in the shootout.

I really like the NFL-themed commercials, simply because it was so unexpected when I first saw them. One of the earliest Burger King commercials was rather creepy to me, the one where the guy opens his front door and the Burger King is standing out in his yard, the guy turns away for one second, when he turns back around the Burger King is right in his face. That's something right out of a bad horror movie. Most of the other ones are funny, most of them center around him being in odd places at odd times.

If we can get any positive out of the Cardinals/49ers game, maybe it'll discourage some Mexicans from sneaking over the border.
