I think the best thing for Ring of Honor to do would be to go ahead and start building someone up starting with their next show. Make sure it is someone that is definitely in the promotion for the long-run, like Alex Shelley or Jay Lethal. Give them a few months of big wins and build up to a great match where they win the title. RoH definitely needs a champion with stability at the moment. Homicide has been putting on great matches since he went single in '02, I think he should atleast get one reign with the title.

If they ever made Duke/UNC play once a year, I believe Duke and UNC students would set charges at our state's borders and geographically separate us from the rest of the United States. With the ACC expansion most teams had to cut back to playing once a year, but Duke/UNC will never be cut back. Too much of an outrage as to which team would have the homecourt advantage, because that definitely matters in this rivalry. And as far as quality of the games go, I don't think you could get any better. Before this year UNC was pathetic for a long stretch, yet always brought their A-game against Duke. In '95 Duke was having one of their worst years during Coach K's run as coach, yet they have one of the all-time greatest games between them in double-OT. Duke/UNC is a perfect example of a rivalry that brings the best out of both teams.

Answered your own question right there. WWE was looking for negative comments from different superstars on Bret Hart, and Hulk Hogan gave it to them. Kind of like in any other job where your boss asks you to do something, would you do it or not? Hulk Hogan did his job while Chris Benoit, Jim Ross, and Roddy Piper didn't. So, should we really be insulting someone who was just doing their job? I wish people would kind of leave this forum to wrestling discussion, instead of using worthless news to try and start negative discussion.

Of course Jamie Noble would say winning the Ring of Honor title is more important to him than participating in WrestleMania, atleast until he is back in WWE and preparing to participate in a WrestleMania dark match. By then, WrestleMania will go back to being the biggest event in professional wrestling. I always find it funny that the people saying something is better than WrestleMania or whatever they want to diss about WWE, are usually people who never have and never will get the chance to participate in the event.

Pretty poor Green Bay/San Diego game tonight. Any team looking for a kicker? I have a strong feeling Nate Kaeding will be looking for a job tomorrow.

Who does everyone think will lead college football in rushing this year? I would have to say Adrian Peterson. Oklahoma lost some important pieces on the offensive side of the ball, so I think Adrian Peterson will be called on more times than he was last year and I have no reason to doubt he should answer the call every single game.

Without Terrell Owens and Todd Pinkston, defenses will be able to key in on Greg Lewis as he is the only other viable threat left at wide receiver. The guy I think will have a big season if Owens leaves is Brian Westbrook, I wouldn't be surprised to see him have 1,000+ rushing yards and 1,000+ receiving yards. Has that ever happened before?

I think at this point, Oakland would be the only team willing to take a chance on Terrell Owens if he is released by the Eagles. Only problem is, when you add Terrell Owens to Randy Moss, you know one of them is going to be unhappy before the season is over. Interesting stat on ESPN, without Terrell Owens and Todd Pinkston, the receivers in Eagles' training camp have a total of 27 career receptions with no touchdowns.

It seemed like both rookie QBs were the best QBs tonight. Kyle Orton and Mark Bradley could be a dangerous combination in a couple of years. Add in Cedric Benson and the Bears should have a great offense for the future.

Didn't you have to download the "Hot Coffee" modification over the internet? If so, I really don't understand why parents would be worried about their children "accidently" accessing it. Not to mention the fact that some of the kids shown in the various news reports aren't even old enough to be playing GTA, with or without the sex. As far as "Bully" goes, sounds pretty interesting. If they use a similar game engine as in GTA, I can only imagine how detailed that schoolhouse will be.

I have to disagree with your assessment of the Carolina Panthers. They didn't lose their #1 receiver this offseason, they lost him way back in week one of last season. Steve Smith, and he will be back this year. He is much more of a threat than Muhsin Muhammad was and will more than makeup for his loss. I also feel Keary Colbert will put up some really good numbers in his second year. DeShaun Foster and Stephen Davis may both be coming back from injuries, but that's why Carolina has Brandon Bennett, Eric Shelton, Jamal Robertson, Nick Goings, and various other guys who can produce. They will also be working behind a much more improved offensive line with the addition of Mike Wahle and Jordan Gross moving back to his natural position. Defense will be getting Kris Jenkins back and Julius Peppers will continue to improve. I really like their chances of making it to the postseason and atleast to the NFC Championship Game. I also don't agree with those who think the Detroit Lions will make a run in the playoffs, I think too many important pieces of that team are too inexperienced to handle the pressure of big-time games.

Damn, perennial college basketball powerhouses like Florida State will have to change their nicknames before making their yearly run to the Final Four. Until Christians rally to have Duke change their Blue Devils, I probably won't notice.

Nelly has some ownership of the Charlotte Bobcats, so he could possibly also have something to do with this team. I can tell this team won't be much, I live in North Carolina and this is the first I've ever heard of them starting.

I don't think you would have to worry about independent promoters not wanting to be associated with WWE, it's WWE wanting to be associated with independent promoters that would probably be the tougher move. Why would WWE want to associated themselves with promotions that could possibly steal some of their fanbase? Not to mention that if the average fan typed in "Ring of Honor" to find information on the promotion one of the first items to be listed would probably be about Rob Feinstein. Definitely not something people like Vince McMahon would like to be associated with.

Already looks like a pretty good card, although I don't understand all the hype surrounding Jack Evans. Sure he can do some spectacular flips, but other than that he seems lost inside the ring.

Realistically, none of the performers should be fighting anyway. They are all friends behind-the-scenes.

I think Brian Westbrook and Terrell Owens are each other's best friend in this situation. No matter what the Philadelphia Eagles' front office says, they aren't going to let go of their two most talented offensive players. Brian Westbrook's holdout keeps Terrell Owens' shot at a new contract open, and Terrell Owens' possible holdout keeps Brian Westbrook's shot at a new contract open. If the Eagles lose both Owens and Westbrook, they go from NFC favorites to having to fight just to win the NFC East.

Damn, I thought WWE released Buff Bagwell years ago.

What was the line that got a response from JR, I missed it.

I think WWE should try this a little more often, using real backstage incidents to form onscreen feuds. Gets the fans more interesting than most anything else.

Matt Hardy

So, I guess he is announcing Brock Lesnar's return.
-
Vince McMahon must love the fact that he is treated like God everytime he makes an appearance.
-
Here comes Vince McMahon, most likely to announce RAW's move to the USA network. Especially since Spike TV has started shilling UFC during RAW.

I'm starting to think God might be a Florida State fan, Miami players just haven't had alot of luck the past few years. Latest I heard is that he is alright, so that is the most important news.
