If I had the chance to go, I would go just for Homicide vs. Teddy Hart vs. Trent Acid and you get that and the rest of the Best of the Best tournament which looks to be just as awesome. I usually wouldn't recommend CZW's recent shows, but this could easily be show of the year.

Now it looks like the same organization or something similar has a few international hostages, the one in the video was South Korean and seemed a little strange in his plea for help. The guys said they would give South Korea 24 hours to pull their troops out of Saudi Arabia, so it looks like this will happen once again.

I know a few people around here follow the International Wrestling Cartel and I thought they would be very interested in the match that has been signed for IWC's August 14 show in West Mifflin, PA. "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels vs. "The Phenomenal" A.J. Styles vs. "The Notorious 187" Homicide for the first time ever in a three-way dance. This could easily be a "Match of the Year Candidate."

Eddie Guerrero vs. Shinjiro Ohtani from Starrcade '95 and Dean Malenko vs. Eddie Guerrero from Uncensored '97 should be on it, and one of his matches against Dean Malenko from ECW.

Did you go to the last show they had at the CCAC South Campus on June 5th? From the results it looked like a very good show and I wouldn't mind hearing your thoughts on it.

One of his matches against Rob Van Dam in '02, either the one where he wins the Intercontinental title or the ladder match from RAW. It is pretty significant since it was his first feud since returning and he proved that he could still go in the ring.

I happened to check the card for their July 31 show, and Mike Modest is listed as scheduled to appear. Austin Aries and Robby Mireno have been added to the debut show, so it looks like Blackout and Generation Next could be stables in the promotion.

Got to love Mad Man Pondo calling him a permanent member of the Four Horsemen.

Will it be the same midgets that wrestled in WWE ever so often from late '97 to early '98. Max Mini and all his friends who do about 50,000 versions of an arm-drag.

High flying, colorful, action packed Lucha Libre, Mexican professional wrestling, comes to the RBC Center. This will be the first time Lucha Libre has been presented in Raleigh. Lucha Libre is one of Mexico's most popular attractions. It appeals to men and women, children and adults. Many of Mexico's most famous luchadores (wrestlers) will appear at the RBC Center. These include such stars as El Hijo del Santo, La Parka, Super Porky, Psicosis, Blue Demon, Jr., Pentagon and many more. Lucha Libre is non-stop action. Many of the wrestlers wear masks which represent traditions in Mexico dating back to the Aztecs. The matches are fast-paced, very athletic and tremendously exciting. $12 Children (12 and under) $25 100, 200, 300 Level $35 Reserved Match Highlight: Mexico's most popular and famous wrestler, El Hijo del Santo, will team up with legendary Blue Demon, Jr. to face the equally potent team of El Dandy and Pentagon. Do they do shows like this on the east coast often? The promotion is World Lucha Libre League, does anyone have a website link for them?

Hopefully his family won't go on a rampage blaming everyone from the soldiers in the prisoner abuse scandal to George W. Bush, but this is still very sad news and I can only pray the people responsible are brought to justice.

ESPNews having up-to-the-second updates on games, when anyone who would be watching the updates could easily just watch the game.

In every Franchise I've played I always traded away Defauw, but he always amounted to something decent after a few years. I picked up Wayne Unterluggauer in the draft my first season, and by the next season he was one of my top players.

Strange things are afoot at the RBC Center

Yeah, now they're working in IWA Mid-South and probably a few other Mid-West and South promotions.

When Samoa Joe says he'll walk away from the company if Rob Feinstein was still involved, I think that would affect the in-ring product.
-
With the NWA it was more about the in-ring product than the presentation.
-
Chris Hamrick and Tracy Smothers, they are a solid team that have experience and could put on decent-good matches with just about anyone.

When I first read that line going through the review I thought they were saying Yoko Ono had let her hair grow out and grown a beard, nothing too out there for her.

Since TNA is waiting to bring back C.M. Punk, just bring him back with Julio Dinero and reform the Gathering for a little while. Southern Comfort would probably be a good addition, and they could probably get over easily in Tennessee and Florida.

The problem with bringing in teams like the Backseat Boyz and the Briscoe Brothers is that they look so small inside a TNA ring. They look big compared to guys like Amazing Red and A.J. Styles in Ring of Honor, but when you put them in the ring with America's Most Wanted they will looked horribly mismatched. Just look at the Briscoe Brother's match against the Hot Shots from one of the first few weeks TNA was around.

Due to situations beyond our control H2 was forced to change venues from the Roxy in Boston to the Somerville Theatre (at 55 Davis Square Somerville, MA 02144) which is just 5 minutes from Downtown Boston in Somerville, MA. All tickets will be honored for this event from the old location. Bell time is 6:00 PM. Tickets are available at www.H2Wrestling.com at $18 for will call pick-up as well as at the door for $20 the night of the show. In addition, H2 decided due to the Democratic Convention in July, that the Somerville Theatre would be a more convenient building to run to ensure the fans face virtually no transportation challenges which they would be faced with in Downtown Boston. As such, H2 was given an excellent opportunity to give the fans a stable location that easily accessible via the T rail system as well as car. Reserved tickets for the July 31st show are on sale now at: www.H2Wrestling.com. We apologize for the inconvenience and look forward to delivering the H2 Experience on June 26, July 31 and in the future at the Somerville Theatre. [::Buy Tickets::]

ONE and ONLY Shane Shamrock Memorial Cup 04 Thread
JustJoe2k5 replied to a topic in General Wrestling
Well, that kind of hurts the history of the tournament. And having a Maryland Championship Wrestling reunion battle royal in Philadelphia, isn't going to work. -
With such a collection of people watching the movie, anything less than a standing ovation would have been a shock.
