What indy matchs have you watched recently?

Jody Fleisch vs. Low Ki was one of the few "dream" matches that lived up to the hype in my opinion. Right now I'm watching RoH's The Battles Lines Are Drawn, with Alex Shelley vs. Matt Stryker and Chris Sabin vs. Jimmy Jacobs being standout matches so far.

TNA Letting Fans Choose Who AMW Face On Wednesday

Is Low Ki still in Japan? I have a hard time keeping up with him, but if they needed to they could possibly bring him in and team him with Elix Skipper.

    World-1 Pro Wrestling Update

STATE OF THE WORLD ADDRESS from JACK VICTORY As has been announced on this website, Victory & Associates - comprised of myself and a small group of investors are now heading up operations of Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1. Wrestling has been my life for more than twenty years and through those years there have been many moments of excitement and pride. I've been associated with many great wrestling organizations and have made it my personal goal to bring those same standards to Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1. The excitement of embarking on this journey and the pride I have in those up to that challenge are greater than any I've experienced thus far. Professional wrestling has changed drastically through the years. Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1 will acknowledge these changes, but will not compromise the integrity of the sport. Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1 will appeal to wrestling fans old and new and we welcome all to enjoy. In the short time Victory & Associates have taken over daily operations, many steps have been taken to ensure our goals become reality. We are currently in negotiations with Channel 48 in Philadelphia as well as The Sunshine Network to carry Pro- Wrestling WORLD-1 TV. It will be a 1-hour program airing in several markets. Details to follow as they become available. Speaking of markets, we will soon be announcing confirmed details for the next Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1 live tour. As of now, it will be JULY 16, 17 & 18th in the Sunshine State. The tour will make stops in FORT LAUDERDALE, TAMPA, and either JACKSONVILLE or ORLANDO. Again, details will follow as they become available - which should be very soon. Looking further forward, AUGUST 7, 8 & 9th looks to be the dates Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1 brings live action to the CHICAGO area. Check back soon for details on that as well. We look towards our stops in Florida and Chicago with much anticipation. They are homes to some of the greatest wrestling fans and we are eager to show them what WORLD-1 live action can deliver. As always, look for some of the greatest wrestlers in the US as well as the talented Pro-Wrestling ZERO-ONE contingency from Japan. We are proud of our working relationship with ZERO-ONE and we hope our fans take advantage of the opportunity to see some of Japan's greats perform live. In coming months, that opportunity will be afforded to fans from many different cities. If you are interested in Pro- Wrestling WORLD-1 making a stop in your city, make your voice heard. Send an email to us at [email protected] so that we can make your city a priority. I've always been very grateful to the wrestling fans who have helped support me throughout my career, and this sentiment extends to those who have supported and will continue to support Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1 in its goal to bring its unique brand of wrestling action to as many fans as we can. Best regards, Jack Victory Victory & Associates- President They have hardly had any shows and they are already in negotiations with the Sunshine Network, can't argue with the possibility of more wrestling on television.

Anyone know Sean O'Haire's wherabouts now?

I just remember him being a whole lot more mobile in WCW, WWE should've let him bust out the Seanton Bomb at least once to see what kind of reaction it got.

Anyone know Sean O'Haire's wherabouts now?

Sean O'Haire was tall and skinny in WCW, which made him very agile and made him stick out among most of their roster. Once WWE got a hold of him and put on the muscle, he seemed to fall into the same spot as every other OVW "hoss."

    Fahrenheit 9/11 trailer

I saw the trailer for this a few nights ago on IFC, and from what I could hear the few times Michael Moore wasn't out of breath I say it is a movie full of edited content. I only saw him asking the questions, then cutting to another scene before giving the people the chance to answer.

ESPN's Top 100 Moments of past 25 years

Didn't Wayne Gretzky break the scoring record in an overtime game-winner? If so, that'll probably be in the middle of the list. Miracle on Ice will probably be a top ten or top five pick. Lance Armstrong's five Tour de France victories will make it pretty high. Dale Earnhardt Jr. winning the Daytona 500, although not really covered as a big moment, may make it in the 80s or something.

The 2004 Stanley Cup Playoffs thread

On ESPNews Brad Richards was getting his picture taken with Hulk Hogan and one of the Nasty Boys, very strange sight indeed. I really wanted Calgary to win the Stanley Cup, but I really didn't have anything against Tampa Bay winning it so I'm still happy. Dave Andreychuk looked like a little kid running around with the Cup, so I was definitely happy he finally got it. I still think Khabibulin should've won the Conn Smythe, Calgary would've scored about two or three times in the ending flurry on a lesser goaltender.

Eddie Guerrero snaps on fans at Germany show

Still, unless someone in Germany does anything nothing is going to happen to Bradshaw. What he did was just another way of getting heel heat, I really doubt he would put his career in jeopardy and do it for other reasons. Calling for him to get punished on a message board isn't helping anything.

Eddie Guerrero snaps on fans at Germany show

So, how many of you people calling for Bradshaw to be punished are actually German and are actually offended by what he did? Leave the punishment up to Germany and WWE.

Eddie Guerrero snaps on fans at Germany show

Considering that Eddie Guerrero wasn't playing the heel role, saying "Germany sucks" didn't have any meaning in the match. If the crowd shouted profanities at him he should've just ignored them, gone about his business, and let security deal with the guy. This isn't as bad as chasing after fans that pour beer on you, but it does show that he is very on edge and should take some time off.
  12. I have a Bret Hart vs. Randy Savage match from a house show in '94, haven't gotten a chance to watch it but I'm sure it is great. Kind of surprised it never happened on television.

    Trivia tidbits from PWS

I'm surprised it took this long for WWE to go after Michael Shane, with his connections to Shawn Michaels and he can definitely work "WWE style." They could easily put him up against Paul London at house shows or in OVW. Chris Sabin could be good to, but he doesn't have the look of a cruiserweight and can't work too well with heavyweights so he'll probably be stuck in OVW forever if he is signed.

IWA Mid-South Presents "One More Time"...

They went 60-minutes over in Germany a few months ago, so it wouldn't surprise me if they tried to surpass 93-minutes in this match. Alex Shelley vs. Jimmy Jacobs in a steel cage could be great and IF Homicide vs. Samoa Joe happens I would expect a really stiff battle. Should be a great show.

    'The Ultimate X Collection'

I know Juventud Guerrera vs. Teddy Hart gets all the love from the Super X tournament, but I thought the final between Chris Sabin and Juventud Guerrera was amazing. The first Ultimate X was good because it was different, and I believe the second one was really good, so this is a definite buy. Any other new DVDs coming out anytime soon?

    Your Favorite ECW moments

Just watched the video and it shows Taz hugging Tommy Dreamer, Tommy Dreamer gives a speech, then the locker room congratulates Tommy Dreamer, Raven enters the ring and hugs Tommy Dreamer, then Justin Credible attacks Tommy Dreamer and the match takes place.
  17. JustJoe2k5

    Your Favorite ECW moments

I think the match you are talking about is on RF Video's ECW Year in Review 2000. I have the tape and remember seeing Tommy Dreamer winning the belt from Taz, then immediately losing it to Justin Credible.

TNA Letting Fans Choose Who AMW Face On Wednesday

With a couple of new fans tuning in after watching Impact!, TNA wouldn't pull something like that. After I heard about the fan voting, Christopher Daniels and Elix Skipper were the first team that came to mind and the match should be great.

CM Punk speaks about his future in NWA-TNA

If A.J. Styles and Christopher Daniels will sign TNA exclusive contracts, I don't see why C.M. Punk would think he deserves anything more.

    TNA IMPACT

Like him or not, Jeff Jarrett is still the best man to carry the NWA title into their new show. He is their most recognizable star and can get people to tune into the show each week in hopes of seeing him get his ass kicked. I can tell TNA is trying to get all of their title belts on stable champions, and A.J. Styles can easily carry the X-Division back to the prominence it had in '02.

    The Tag Team Divisions

Smackdown's tag team division was doing pretty good two years ago when Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle, Edge and Rey Mysterio, and Los Guerreros were putting on constant ****+ matches for the titles. Then, it looked ok with Chris Benoit and Rhyno, World's Greatest Tag Team, and Los Guerreros around WrestleMania 19, but once the titles got on The Basham Brothers it went down the drain.
  23. JustJoe2k5

    TNA IMPACT

The video packages were some of the most professional I've ever seen from TNA. The crowd seemed to be enjoying it and that definitely help me get into the show, and once the wrestlers get comfortable inside the six-sided ring we could see some really cool matches. I really hope this is a success and I will definitely be watching every Friday.

    Multiple Sport Cities

Carolina Panthers became the darlings of North Carolina last season, but the Duke vs. North Carolina games are still the biggest things going in sports. Carolina Hurricanes were huge during their run to the Stanley Cup finals two years ago, but now they are hardly mentioned. NASCAR is overall the most popular sport around here.

    NBA Mock Draft

I would think Chris Duhon will go in the second round, and it sucks Duke will be losing Luol Deng.
