    CZW shows this weekend

Homicide certainly gave Teddy Hart a beating in their JAPW match, hopefully this match will be a little less one-sided. Sounds like a good show, but are Homicide and Teddy Hart now entered in Best of the Best IV or is the match going to be a non-tournament match?

    H2Wrestling

I'm guessing this will be like something different in the independent wrestling world, possibly more storyline and sports entertainment based while still providing great wrestling action. If the storylines are good and they continue the trend of only bringing in young talented wrestlers, this could possibly work out. I'm already interested in seeing their first show and they haven't even released a card yet.

    CZW shows this weekend

Yeah, CZW does need to start promoting their shows a little better. I didn't even know they had a show until I happened to check their site for Best of the Best IV updates and saw the lineup.

    CZW shows this weekend

If their Iron-Man match is anything like their match from Ted Petty Invitational '02, Chris Hero vs. Jimmy Rave could steal the show not that it would be surprising or anything.
  5. That is a great looking tournament, glad to see they are using some of the lesser known talent and still have a stacked card. Roderick Strong over Sedrick Strong Alex Shelley over Jimmy Jacobs Chris Hero over Matt Striker Homicide over Black Tigers Teddy Hart over Azrieal Mikey Tenderfoot over Puma Petey Williams over Naphtali Justice over Damien Adams Roderick Strong over Alex Shelley Chris Hero over Homicide Teddy Hart over Mikey Tenderfoot Justice over Petey Williams Roderick Strong over Chris Hero Teddy Hart over Justice Roderick Strong over Teddy Hart Those are my predictions, but really any possible combination in this tournament would be good to great.

    News: New DVD's

How many Eddie Guerrero matches can you think of that they could put on a career DVD? I know he is a great wrestler, but when you think back he hasn't had too many stellar matches in WWE, and WWE would probably be a little hesitant to put mostly WCW and ECW matches on it and they probably couldn't get the rights to his stuff in Japan, so what all would you put on it besides his World title win. His match against Rey Mysterio Jr. from Halloween Havoc '97 is on Rey Mysterio's DVD. I can only think of his match with Chavo Guerrero Jr. against Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle from the Tag Team title tournament as something I would really love to see on the DVD, and maybe his no-disqualification match against Edge from Smackdown '02.

    Jersey All Pro results

I would love to hear some details on the Amazing Red vs. Teddy Hart match, although it sucks it was a brawl and not an in-ring spotfest because they could tear it up together. Looks like a solid show with the M-Dogg 20 vs. Roderick Strong vs. Trent Acid and Azrieal vs. Jay Lethal matches standing out among them all.

    ROH Chicago Results

THE OPINION OF WHOBETTA? LOVE IT, OR HATE IT... B.J. Whitmer d. Ace Steele (***) Before the match, Jay and Mark Briscoe laid out Steele with a spike Jay Driller. Whitmer got the pin with Exploder '98 suplex. I thought this was a solid opening match. I dont know why people are so flat about Whitmer. The Carnage Crew of Justin Credible & Masada d. Delirious & Shawn Daivari (**) It was what it was. Justin NEEDS some saliva control. The match wasn't too long, so they couldn't show too much, but I wasnt too impressed with Diavari (I did pop for the Flying Carpet thing though) Chad Collyer d. John Walters (***) Great Technical Match. Walters is a great asshole. Crowd was mostly into the match. Walters was waiting for his cab (which was late) after the show. He asked if anyone could give him a ride, I offered, but then the cab showed up. That coulve been a good story, oh well. Nigel McGuiness d. Jimmy Rave and Austin Aries and Rocky Romero (**1/2) After the match Rocky reluctantly shook hands and left with his tag team partner. Nigel gets Rave (i believe) to tap to some nifty armbar/leglock maneuver. Crowd was REALLY into Austin. This was my first time seeing him, I was impressed. Rave got busted open in his mouth hardaway, not too bad though. Someone buy this kid a new gimmick, its the only thing keeping him down. Homicide d. Bryan Danielson. (****) GREAT MATCH!!! We could have sworn this one was going to go the whole 60 allowed. Homicide gets the duke after a STIFF lariat/clothesline (whichever). Before during and after the match there were some guys calling Homicide, Homocide. Homicide threw the ring bell at them a couple times, hit one of 'em with a chair (after tope con hilo, which he didnt kill himself on) And basically punked 'em out bigtime. INTERMISSION. Ricky Reyes defeated Danny Daniels. (**1/2) Danny is very solid, hope to continue to see him in ROH. Ricky wasn't too great here, seen better in his tag team work. Jack Evans-Matt Sydal defeated The Carnage Crew, The Ring Crew Express, and Alex Shelley-Jimmy Jacobs (***1/2) Jack Evans, what can I say. Gets the pin on Devito after a 540 or 630 (couldnt count, alot of rotation though)somersault double legdrop. IN-FUCKING-SANE!!! Sydal and Evans were led to the ring by IWA-MS's Daizee Haze. Devito seemed a little blown up, but kept up fine in the match. Great match. Dunn and Marcos arent too bad. After the match (to my ultimate delight) Shelley goes to help Jacobs up but kicks him back down. Shelley vs. Jacobs = MONEY!!!! Samoa Joe defeated Matt Stryker (**1/2) Crowd was still buzzing after Scramble match. Kinda burnt out for this match. At one point Stryker reversed the Ole Kick, but ended up getting two for his troubles a bit later. Stryker tapped to a Joe armbar. Great defense for Joe, glad hes still got the belt. Seen much better from both though. CM Punk-Colt Cabana defeated The Briscoes (***) It seems the Briscoes have gotten a tad lazy. As Mark is getting plastered by Cabana, Jay is supposed to be down in the corner, he is... but hes kicked back with his elbow leaning on his knee, wide eyed, watching... SELL SELL SELL DAMMIT!!!!!! Great match anyhoo. Punk gets the pin after a DANGEROUS Pepsi Plunge. Briscoe (forgot which one) appeared to have landed on the side/back of his head...HOLY SHIT! Other cool spot was when Punk was up on Briscoe's shoulders and the other Briscoe went for Doomsday Device, but Punk caught him and delivered a powerslam off Briscoes shoulders. Great choice as the main event. OVERALL it was an excellent night. Interesting to notice that Becky Bayless had signed the souvenier posters, although she wasn't on the show. Also on the posters, they had the old card (with Styles/Daniels and Raven/Credible/Lynn) which reminded me... FUCK TNA!! Anyhoo, no PUBLIC sign of Billy Corgan, but there was an empty seat next to me.... could have been... Return was announced for July doubleshot for Death Before Dishonor II. Chant of the night: (in response to "Where's my Slurpee" at Diavari) "You're a Racist" (clap) (clap) (clap clap clap) Quote of the night: (Samoa Joe) "Is Joe gonna have to choke a bitch?" Match of the night: Danielson/Homicide Results from the ROHWrestling boards, so the ratings may be a little biased.

Ric Flair RIPS on Nwa Tna !!!

Vince Russo is a cartoon character? This coming from a guy who danced around on a plane wearing nothing but a robe and forcing flight attendants to touch him.

    Is there any word...

Yeah, Spanky will be facing Homicide in his Ring of Honor return at Round Robin Challenge III. He has also been recently working Pro Wrestling Guerrilla and World-1 Pro Wrestling.

    When was WCW the best?

I became a wrestling fan in '98, and the very first thing I ever saw was Lex Luger, Randy Savage, and Sting fighting the nWo. I followed WCW from '98 until their demise, and as far as in-ring wrestling, I believe their peak was in '99. Storyline wise it would be '98, and I was really enjoying their shows in '01, including their last three PPVs.
  14. My guess would be that Hirohito is going to be Kenzo Suzuki, I think he is still under contract.

    IWA-MS Lafayette Results from 4/17

I believe Mark Wolf became a commissioner, defeated Danny Daniels, and immediately brought back Chris Hero. Good decision in my opinion, as Chris Hero is IWA Mid-South and neither are the same without the other.

    ROH 4/23 St Paul Results

I think Ring of Honor learned from Xavier, and decided to give the title to someone who could work just about any style. Now that A.J. Styles and Christopher Daniels are gone, the only person I could see that could carry the Ring of Honor title would be Bryan Danielson. With the length of the title reign, they are also building up to when he loses it, so whoever is able to do it will get a huge rub and it wouldn't surprise me if Matt Stryker was that man.

    A Question about ROH

If Julius Smokes or Homicide have an interview, you can pretty much bank on there being some foul language in the mix. C.M. Punk possibly bringing up the fact that he doesn't believe in God and stuff, and Special K's whole gimmick to a lesser extent could be considered offensive. ROH World Champion Samoa Joe, Homicide, Jay & Mark Briscoe, Roderick Strong, Ace Steel, Rainman, Chad Collyer, Matt Stryker, BJ Whitmer, Jimmy Rave, CM Punk, Colt Cabana, Alex Shelley, Jimmy Jacobs, Special K, Danny Daniels, Nigel McGuiness, Austin Aries, Ray Gordy with much more to be announced soon!!! Besides Homicide, I think you wouldn't have too big of a problem as most of those guys are pure wrestlers as opposed to mic-workers.

    CZW Music

Is that version of "In Da Club" that the HI-V uses a real song, or is it something the CZW sound guys made up? And are those songs listed in any type of order, like newest on top or something?

    News: New DVD's

I would like to see Jeff Jarrett vs. Shawn Michaels from In Your House II and Razor Ramon vs. Shawn Michaels from SummerSlam '95 on the "Boyhood Dream" DVD. Undertaker vs. Hulk Hogan (Survivor Series '91) Undertaker vs. Yokozuna (Survivor Series '94) Undertaker vs. Mankind (Buried Alive '96) Undertaker vs. Bret Hart (SummerSlam '97) Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels (Royal Rumble '98) Undertaker vs. Kane (WrestleMania 14) Undertaker vs. Steve Austin (SummerSlam '98) Those are all good picks for the Undertaker "From the Vault" DVD, and I like the fact that it looks like these "From the Vault" DVDs will become a semi-regular release. The Mankind vs. Shawn Michaels Mind Games match is also on Mick Foley Hard Knocks and Cheap Pops, so that makes three.

6 Playas Who Need Mad Props

I would also recommend the first two Super Dragon Evolution videos and APW Ring of Fire, which is the best of Bobby Quance vs. Super Dragon. Really good matches on all of them, with Low Ki vs. Super Dragon and B-Boy vs. Super Dragon definitely sticking out above the rest. B-Boy vs. Super Dragon from Best of the Best II would also be a good find.

    Ted Hart Music video...

What is the connection between Deranged and Lit and Teddy Hart? I know Hart brought them out at PWG's show yesterday, but they are listed in the video and it had to have been made before the PWG show. Awesome video, I have got to see Jack Evans vs. Petey Williams vs. Teddy Hart from CZW.
  22. JustJoe2k5

    so..

I thought it was rather entertaining, but I still can't believe the shit Charlie Haas has to put up with. The only thing I didn't like about the match was that it went on and on, and I think Rico should try and wrestle, then if that isn't getting him the win resort to the gay stuff so we can actually get a match out of him. I also didn't like Charlie Haas' poor attempt at puking, and the announcers playing it up like it was hilarious. You would think Michael Cole would learn his lesson after Booker T puked on him a couple of years ago.

    Ted Hart Music video...

Didn't Jushin Liger used to use a DDT as a finisher? I'm currently downloading the video and I'll add my thoughts after I've seen it.

    So I watched Frankie-Sonjay

Why can't North Carolina get any love? We are right beside Tennessee, OMEGA which was pretty much a spot-federation was very popular here, Southern Championship Wrestling is full of no-namers and they are drawing 200-700 people a show. Put Jeff Jarrett, Raven, A.J. Styles, and D'Lo Brown here and I doubt TNA would have to worry about giving away tickets to their shows.

I'm guessing this is the episode of Smackdown that WWE plans to send in for Emmy consideration.
