I sure hope we get a couple of more trades, I want Sean O'Haire on RAW with Chuck Palumbo.

    OAO trade/new GM reaction thread

When I voted in the poll earlier today Nidia was beating Shelton Benjamin by a percent, and Edge was running away with it. Glad to see Shelton Benjamin is coming back, I think a single's push would be great for his career and Chris Benoit vs. Shelton Benjamin makes my mouth water.

    IWA Mid-South 3/19 Results

Thanks, I heard that Southern Comfort vs. Faboulous and Jimmy Jacobs was awesome from the IWC forums. The whole mini-tournament looked good on paper and sounds like they all delivered and Super Indy III is looking great.

    IWA Mid-South 3/19 Results

IWA Mid-South Wrestling returned to the National Guard Armory in Salem, IN on Friday, March 19th. Here's what went down... DAVE PRAZAK opened the show by announcing that IWA will me making its long awaited return to Bloomington, IN at the Armory on May 15th. Additionally, IWA brought on a new member of management during the past week, whose first official act was banning JIM FANNIN from the evening's event. This brought out an irate DANNY DANIELS and RYAN BOZ, infuriated that Fannin isn't allowed in the building, much less at ringside for their matches. Prazak said to take it up with the new member of management, who is actually the new IWA commissioner. MARK WOLF's music hit, and he came to the ring to tell Daniels and Boz to their face that he banned Fannin from the show because it was Fannin at ringside which allowed Daniels to throw the fireball into the face of CHRIS HERO which sent him away from IWA, and he's not going to let Fannin or any of his men get away with anything anymore. Wolf said he'd be closely monitoring their actions over the course of the evening. 1. "The Tremendous" EMIL SITOCI def. RYAN ASH in the opening contest, after hitting the debuting Ash with Tremendosity. 2. "Metalhead" STEVE STONE def. JAIMY COXXX via pinfall following the White Out. 3. PETEY WILLIAMS def. NIGEL McGUINNESS in an excellent twenty minute display of both wrestlers' technical wrestling skill, with La Magistral cradle. 4. TRIK DAVIS def. JC BAILEY. Bailey broke Davis's nose during the closing moments of the bout in the process of delivering a headbutt. Bailey hit Davis with a double stomp, and as he was about to follow up with a double underhook piledriver, NATE WEBB it the ring and gave Bailey the Arachnid Kick to the side of the head, which led to Davis scoring the pinfall. 5. AUSTIN ARIES def. DANNY DANIELS with a Wisconsin Roll. Daniels came to the ring with RYAN BOZ in his corner, but MARK WOLF sent Boz from ringside because he didn't have a manager's license. Daniels and Aries proceeded to have a back and forth matchup which saw Daniels work over Aries' abdominal region. Ultimately, Daniels pinned Aries with his hand on the ring ropes for leverage on the cover. Though referee MICKIE KNUCKLES didn't see it, Wolf came to ringside and informed her of it, and immediately restarted the match. Aries quickly took Daniels off guard, and rolled him up for the victory. Daniels got on the microphone after the match complaining about how Mark Wolf, in his first day on the job, is already incredibly pissing him off. Daniels said he sent Hero from IWA, and now he wants Wolf gone as well. A challenge was issued for a Wolf vs. Daniels match, where if Daniels defeats Wolf, he'd have to leave IWA. Daniels said he'd put anything Wolf wants on the line, he doesn't care, since he knows he can beat him. Wolf told Daniels he'd think about it. 5. IAN ROTTEN def. RYAN BOZ (w/ Danny Daniels). Before the match, Daniels presented a valid IWA manager's license to MARK WOLF, who was forced to allow him to remain at ringside. Rotten attempted to have STEVE STONE in his corner, but Stone had no license, and was forced back to the locker room. During the closing moments of the match, referee MICKIE KNUCKLES was pulled by Boz into the path of an avalanche by Ian, knocking her out of commission. With no referee, Wolf slid in the ring as Rotten went for a cover on Boz, and made the three count. Post-match, Daniels complained about how Wolf isn't a referee, he's been trying to screw him and Boz over all night, and he'll do whatever it takes to send Wolf packing back home to North Carolina earlier than he had planned. Daniels said he'd be in Oolitic on 4/9 for April Bloodshowers, and again asked Wolf to face him, on that event, with Wolf's IWA career on the line. Ian reminded Mark that he can't afford to rush his return to the ring before he's ready. Daniels told Wolf he could have "anything you want" in terms of what Daniels would put on the line in the match, to which Wolf agreed to the match. If Daniels wins, Wolf leaves IWA. If Daniels loses, Wolf gets anything he wants. 6. MATT SYDAL def. "Spyder" NATE WEBB to retain the IWA Light Heavyweight Title in the main event of the evening, following a Dragonrana of the top rope, just after JC BAILEY interfered, knocking Webb off the turnbuckles. Webb and Bailey had to be pulled apart by several wrestlers after the match, including CORPORAL ROBINSON, who wound up going after Bailey himself, and having to be separated from JC by even more wrestlers. Robinson grabbed the microphone and told Bailey he has just about three weeks until they'll cross paths once again in the tag match at Bloodshowers. Notes: The event was filmed with two cameras by Head-On Video Productions for home video release, with commentary by Dave Prazak, Mark Wolf, Corporal Robinson, and Ian Rotten... Announced for April Bloodshowers on 4/9 in Oolitic, besides Corporal Robinson & Wifebeater vs. JC Bailey & a partner of his choice, was "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles vs. "The New Age Punisher" B-Boy... IWA is back in Lafayette, IN at the National Guard Armory (5220 East 200 South) next Saturday, March 27th. Bell time is 7:30pm. On the card, Danny Daniels & BJ Whitmer will battle Ian Rotten & Steve Stone in a Stretcher Match, plus a rematch between Petey Williams and Nigel McGuinness... April Bloodshowers is 4/9 in Oolitic, IN at the Community Center Gym (235 Hoosier Ave)... Simply The Best 5 is 4/10 in Highland, IN at the Lincoln Center (2450 Lincoln St)... IWA returns to the Armory in Salem on 4/24. For the latest updates, call the IWA hotlines at 502-569-1701 in Louisville, or 630-585-3958 in Chicago. www.iwamidsouthwrestling.com Sounded like a pretty good event from the limited talent they booked. A.J. Styles vs. B-Boy for April Bloodshowers should be awesome.

If Play by play teams are put in draft.....

Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler were THE announce team for a while in late '98 and early '99 while Jim Ross was recovering, I thought they were pretty well together, but that was before Jerry Lawler's obsession with women. Jim Ross and Tazz worked really well together at Royal Rumble and I wouldn't mind them being together for RAW, Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole for Smackdown, Josh Matthews and Al Snow for Velocity, and Bill DeMott and Jonathan Coachman for Heat. Put Rue on Bottom Line/Afterburn and Mark Lloyd as a backstage interviewer on Smackdown.

    123 Kid

They actually set up the I.R.S. vs. Razor Ramon feud by using another jobber in an upset, and that jobber was Justin Credible. I.R.S. came out talking about how Razor Ramon got beat by a jobber and how that would never happen to him, then Razor Ramon interfered in his match and P.J. Walker won. I believe it was also the time Razor Ramon became a face.
  7. So, A.J. Styles will be appearing in a non-wrestling role or have they not given him an opponent yet? I think a match against Jimmy Rave would be good if they can book it and the rest of the card looks pretty solid as well. Jerelle Clark vs. Fast Eddie should be good, as well as Caprice Coleman vs. Jason Cross and Onyx vs. Ray Gordy.

TNA Notes From The 3/22 Observer

They could probably get some of the talent from NWA Wildside and NWA Florida to fill out any holes in the roster, and Team Mexico could probably be brought in more often considering Florida is closer to Mexico than Tenn. Billy Fives C.W. Anderson Caprice Coleman Danny Doring Jerelle Clark Jimmy Rave Justice Murder One Onyx Roderick Strong Scoot Andrews Slim J Steve Corino Steve Madison They could all be brought in as regulars on the roster. I would even tolerate the Shane Twins if it would help TNA get a weekly television show.

    AAA vs Japan Cancelled

This could be interesting because I've seen highlights of Jonny Storm vs. Juventud Guerrera from XPW and as a spotfest it was great, so hopefully they'll face off in one of the first matches.

    IWA Mid-South 3/19 Results

I was wondering if anyone had results from IWC's show last night. Mainly the tournament with A.J. Styles vs. C.M. Punk and Colt Cabana vs. Super Hentai, but full results would be cool to.
  11. Well, Jimmy Rave would be a pretty good choice as well. If he were to be in it I would take Amazing Red out, put Mark Briscoe against Jay Briscoe in the first round, and A.J. Styles vs. Jimmy Rave in the first round.
  12. I believe A.J. Styles is already scheduled to be in the tournament, and the Briscoe Brothers are signed for the show and may be in the tournament as well. My guess is Joey Matthews will be brought in, and maybe even Christian York to defend the Cup. C.M. Punk and Homicide are good bets to be added to the tournament. Amazing Red, John Walters, Tom Carter, Trent Acid, and Xavier would be good choices to fill out the rest of the spots. My fantasy brackets would be. A.J. Styles vs. Mark Briscoe Amazing Red vs. Jay Briscoe C.M. Punk vs. Homicide Christian York vs. Joey Matthews John Walters vs. Xavier Tom Carter vs. Trent Acid A.J. Styles vs. Homicide vs. Jay Briscoe vs. Joey Matthews vs. John Walters vs. Trent Acid My pick would be John Walters winning the Cup.

    ROH 13/3

Both teams battled to a no contest. Very good and very over match very hard hitting. They're where a lot of stiff looking spots and looked great. A couple catfights between the two teams ladys, allison danger and tracy brooks. Lots of chairshots and outside brawling. Locker room cleared to seperate the two. I can't stress how huge this crowd is. Definatly over 2000, if I had to make a bet I would say around 2300. the two kept fighting as the wrestlers were holding them back in the ring. Maff declared the war with the second city saints has just begun. Next match is cm punk vs aj styles for the pure wrestling title. Huge chant for ref ricky steamboat Huge pops for both

    ROH 13/3

Matt Stryker beat John Walters in a finish of back and forth submissions. Good technical wrestling match. May have dragged on for too long of the crowd who chanted end the match and boring. Striker is now the #1 contender. Walters arm was raised and dropped 3 times for the loss.

    ROH 13/3

The pollution err solution came to the ring, and got a lot of heat. Crowd chanted dunn and marcos who were fixing the ring. Solution dissed dunnn and marcos which caused the crowd to give them another huge chant. solution attacked dunn and marcos. Dunn and marcos destroyed pollution, soooo funny and they are sooo over. Great break in the show. They did it to the were not gonna take it song while the crowd sang the song. They said how the past year they did ring crew but this year they're not gonna take it etc...

    ROH 13/3

This match is nigel mcguiness and jerry lynn who got a pop when he came out and a jerry chant. Lynn won with a cradle piledriver in a good wrestling match. Somewhat slow match, especially assholes in the corner who kept shouting some really cornt shit. Wasn't a bad match just a little slow at times.

    ROH 13/3

Slykk tapped to Xaviers submission finisher which name escapes my mind right now. A good back and forth match, nothing special tho. After the match nana forced them to shake eachothers hand. Nana got on the mic, and got some nice heat from the crowd as usual. Nana plugged xavier as the real roh world champion. Nana mentioned he never got pinned or tapped to any roh champion, and they dissed joe as ducking xavier for the past year and a half. So that's 2 people to challange him for the show tonight. Nana ripped the sound team for fucking up xaviers entrance. Joes music played but didn't show, then it played again and he came out. Joe disses xavier by calling him the all around bitch and him and nana left. Joe cut a promo and welcomed the fans to ring of honor, mentioned how tonight marks one year as champ, put over aj as pure wrestling champ, and the cage match.

    ROH 13/3

6 man mayhem is up, red got the welcome back chant, mark briscoe, sonjay dutt, jimmy rave and then jack evans and teddy hart who did backflips off the top ropes to enter. Teddy getting a teddy and cm punk chants back and forth. Match notes next Red won the match with a standing shooting star. Excellent match, lots of insane high spots from everyone involded. The match continued with a complete brawl from everyone after jack evans was attacked while dancing. They all had to hold down hart, as they played it off like he was shooting or somthing and was escorted out by security. Very good spot match and was very over with the crowd, a little short but good.

Didn't surprise me as I thought their two matches on Super Dragon Evolution I were great.

    ROH 13/3

Deranged is at the show and may be part of the Scramble Cage II, but that is just an assumption. Glad to see him back because I feel he was one of the more talent Special K members.
  22. Not as promising as their past couple of shows have been, but you've got to love the story with Frankie Kazarian vs. Spanky.

    ROH 13/3

I thought there would be a little bit more discussion regarding the show, but I'll get it going with some short results from Michrome's board. -Mellow defeated Jerelle Clark with a school boy roll up after Jerelle hit the 630 Splash. -Solution def. Todd Sexton & Jared Steel with their powerbomb off the ropes combo, and top rope powerbomb neckbreaker. Alright match, nothing special. -Caprice coleman defeatead Rainman in a decent match with a horrendous ending. It looked like 30 seconds of blown spots. After the match, Juluis Smokes cut a promo in the ring telling them they should be a tag team and join in on the tag team scramble match tonight. They accepted. -Allison Danger over April Hunter after a BJ Whitmer powerbomb. Tracy and CM Punk attack afterwards. -Jimmy Jacobs over Brad Bradley with the Contra Code. -Hydro beat Roderick Strong with a dragon suplex, said to have been a great match. -Danny Daniels tapped to Austin Aries. Ok match, dragged on. -Super Dragon beat Excalibur in possibly the best match so far. Dragon was over especially when he was stiffing the hell out of Excalbiur. Dragon won with a top rope stomp and pumphandle.

    Rob Feinstein........

I don't like them either, and I pretty much figured that it was Rob Feinstein that was keeping them in Ring of Honor in the first place. Having them gone will be a gift in my opinion.
  25. JustJoe2k5

    Rob Feinstein........

I noticed that the Christopher St. Connection has been removed from 3/13's convention card, and I doubt it was a coincidence.
