    The Mania sleeper...

I would have to think that Kane vs. Undertaker will definitely be one of the highlights of the show, even if the match sucks the moment will more than makeup for it. The Cruiserweight Open should be great, I just hope WWE gives them enough time to make it something good and don't pull another Matt Hardy vs. Rey Mysterio from last year.

TNA Notes from the 3/8 Observer

I wonder how everyone who originally were talking about how great it was that C.M. Punk punked out Teddy Hart are feeling now? I am a C.M. Punk fan and a Teddy Hart fan, and I can't wait to see what some of the crazed C.M. Punk fans will come up with in his defense.

"The Tremendous" EMIL SITOCI after using his prosthetic leg on Sitoci behind the referee's back. 4. "Road Dogg" BG JAMES & "Bones Malone" TRIK DAVIS def. RYAN BOZ & JIM FANNIN when James pinned Fannin following a pumphandle slam. 5. CORPORAL ROBINSON def. "Spyder" NATE WEBB after the Boot Camp. 6. JERRY LYNN def. BJ WHITMER (w/ Jim Fannin) to retain the IWA World Heavyweight Title following the cradle piledriver. After the match Fannin, demanded a rematch, to which Lynn said he is a fighting champion, and would give BJ a rematch on 3/19 in Salem. Notes: The event was filmed by Head-On Video Productions for home video release, with commentary by Dave Prazak, Nate Webb, Ian Rotten, and Delirious... JC Bailey required medical attention following his match Saturday in Highland, requiring five surgical staples to close a wound on the top of his head. As a result, he had to pull out of the scheduled No-Rope Barbed Wire Match for this event. IWA Mid-South return to action on Friday night, March 19th to the National Guard Armory (1100 N. IWA will then return to Highland on 5/8 for an event, featuring the IWA Mid-South debut of Bobby "The Brain" Heenan! New IWA World Tag Team Champions will be crowned with a one night tournament at the Lincoln Center in Highland on 5/29. Also scheduled for that event, in singles action, the return of Sabu! For all of the latest IWA updates, call the hotlines at 502-569-1701 in Louisville, or 630-585-3958 in Chicago. Definitely not as strong as 3/6, but B.J. Whitmer vs. Jerry Lynn should've been pretty good.

    IWA-MS 3/6 Highland results

Glad to see IWA Mid-South made up for the lower attendance of the last couple of shows, and it looked like another solid show overall. Simply the Best 5 should be great.

I hope we get a highlight video of that 3-Way sometime soon.

    WWE Bringing Back ECW

I went through the WWE's roster over at their website, and this is the list I got of people that would fit into a "new" Extreme Championship Wrestling. Bubba Ray Dudley D-Von Dudley Lance Storm Rob Van Dam Spike Dudley Steven Richards Tommy Dreamer James Maritato Rhyno Yoshihiro Tajiri Alot of talent, but hardly enough to fill a one hour television show with good matches. If this does happen, maybe Paul Heyman would also take some of the younger talent, like Jimmy Yang, Nick Dinsmore, Nova, Paul London, Shane Helms, and World's Greatest Tag Team. They could also use local independent talent like they do ever so often on Velocity, except give them more than a few minutes to get squashed. WWE may f*ck this up, but it should be fun to watch at least one week.

    CZW Results

Sounded decent, although I would probably pick up JAPW's The Revolution show before I even went near this one. Why did they have B-Boy come back out and face Petey Williams after his "match" against Teddy Hart, was this part of the angle or did they just need something to waste time?

    Rob Feinstein........

Amazing that the Ring of Honor fanboys really think this website would go through all of that trouble to get Rob Feinstein in hot water. I'm sure if RF blew up the White House the fanboys would say that it was Rob Black that framed him.

    Rob Feinstein........

To think, whenever Rob Feinstein was rallying to have Rob Black and Xtreme Pro Wrestling taken out of Philly for their adult entertainment business, he was probably getting in touch with a couple of teenage boys.

    Rob Feinstein........

This is still going to hurt Ring of Honor, because I'm sure RFVideo made for about 75% of their profit and taking that away, along with the obvious fallout from this whole deal, could affect the money they bring in at their next show. I'm guessing their next show will decide whether they continue or shut down.

The One and Only NWA:TNA Thread

Bait-and-switch, to me, is only a bad thing when the resulting match is worse than the scheduled match. In this case, if Lex Luger was the planned partner, you cannot argue with them aking Abyss vs. A.J. Styles instead.

The One and Only NWA:TNA Thread

I could definitely tell that A.J. Styles and Abyss have pretty good chemistry in the ring from the highlights of their match from last week. And it sounds like this match was even better.

    WWE Hall of Fame

The BIG question is what mascot Pete Rose will dress up as this time.

ROH too film an empty arena match

So, you could say Ring of Honor is copying Major League Wrestling by turning this feud into an angle.

    ROH 13/3

Joe, are you planning on going to the full weekend of events leading up to the show?

    JAPW The Revolution

-April Hunter and Slyk Wagner Brown defeated the Dirty Rotten Scoundrelz to retain the Tag Team titles. -Corvis Fear and Rush Margera defeated the Outkast Killahs. -Jay Lethal defeated Azriael, Insane Dragon, and Jack Evans to win the Light Heavyweight title. -Homicide defeated Teddy Hart. -Christopher Daniels defeated Jerry Lynn. -Dan Maff defeated Monsta Mack to retain the Heavyweight title in a No-Disqualification match. -Homicide basically killed Teddy Hart in their match and Teddy Hart blamed it on him only being at 50%. A rematch was signed for JAPW's April show. -Christopher Daniels vs. Jerry Lynn was said to have been good, but not spectacular. -Dan Maff vs. Monsta Mack was said to have been good for what it was. Dan Maff was kicked out of La Familia and Monsta Mack joined La Familia. Credit goes to RoHWrestling.com, which is why he only posted the results from matches that involved Ring of Honor talent. Hopefully, some full results will be released soon.

ROH too film an empty arena match

They are going to release this match on video by itself? Are they that starved for money?

    The Old School questions thread

I have one episode of Sunday Night Heat from '98 where Undertaker was disguised as Kane. I believe it was a little while before SummerSlam, during the time where the Kane/Undertaker alliance was a mystery.

ROH too film an empty arena match

If this is all about stealing things from other promotions, then Ring of Honor probably shouldn't even be around considering they book wrestlers who all made their names in other promotions and promote them like they're their own talent.

ROH too film an empty arena match

Didn't everyone jump down MLW's throat when they played off the real life heat between Steve Corino and Teddy Hart?

    JAPW The Revolution

Well, C.M. Punk basically ran down George W. Bush's views on gay marriage in his latest commentary, and ended it with "F*ck George Bush, Gavin Newsom (a strong supporter of gay rights) is the MAN!" I am a strong supporter of George W. Bush and that made me pretty mad, but I've taken it down to avoid any misunderstanding. I think C.M. Punk should just shutup and wrestle, like he is always telling Teddy Hart to do.
  23. JustJoe2k5

ROH too film an empty arena match

Yeah, Ring of Honor IS a wrestling promotion. The Teddy Hart angle is a little too much Sports Entertainment, but whatever.

    Austin/McMahon feud

St. Valentine's Day Massacre was a very fun ass-kicking to watch, even though I have and always will despise Vince McMahon. I also liked when he gave the double-bird to Undertaker and Kane on the night of the presentation ceremony, Undertaker turned around real quick and caught him, and another brutal ass-kicking began.

Lee Marshall gets his ass kicked

If you ever watched WOW, Lee Marshall was the announcer with the deep voice if I remember correctly. He was pretty good, and definitely better than half of the announcers WCW was using at the time.
