Week 50 recap: Week 50, Day 2 Egypt: Black Adam knocks Captain Marvel Jr. through a pyramid and Mary Marvel into the court yard of a palace. Week 50, Day 3 Australia: A number of buildings in Sydney have been destroyed and are on fire including the famed Opera House. A number of the Global Guardians are knocked out and laying about while Captain Marvel takes on Black Adam. Week 50, Day 4 Italy: Black Adam has taken out the Doom Patrol as well as the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Week 50, Day 5 Italy: The JSA are looking for Black Adam when Checkmate informs MR. Terrific that he is in China. Week 50, Day 6 (night) China: Black Adam is being pursued by jet fighters which are firing at him over Beijing. Black Adam grabs one of the jets and throws it at another on causing both to explode. Thundermind: He has reached Beijing and he knows the part our leaders played in his betrayal. The karma of China’s Government has borne a bitter fruit, August General-In-Iron. A.P.P: And how many innocent people will die unless we open our borders to the superhumans! A.G.I: The Great Ten will stop him! Why else were we assembled? Socialist Red Guardsman you are authorized to attack. Black Adam gets knocked from the sky by SRG and is attacked by Ghost Fox Killer on the way down. Upon crashing into the street BA is attacked by Seven Deadly Brothers Week 50, Day 7 China’s Border: All of the superheroes are gathered together waiting to go into China. When asked by Jay why they just don’t go in Alan tells them… “We’ve been warned; we make one false move and missiles start flying. This isn’t World War Two, Jay. This time there’s only us. Now hold the line till I give the signal! And get ready. I’m betting they’ll need the Justice Society soon enough. Beijing: Black Adam has taken out the Seven Deadly Brothers, Ghost Fox Hunter and SRG. He is then attacked by Shaolin Robot which Black Adam quickly takes out. ***Oddly Shaolin Robot resembles a Dominator with the shape of the head and the red circle on top*** August General-In-Iron then sends in Yeti who is quickly taken out by Black Adam and killed when Adam breaks his neck. The Great Ten then loose contact with Beijing forcing A G-I-I to authorize the use of international help. Upon receiving the “word” the JSA rushes in and starts their attack on Black Adam. Rock of Eternity: Captain Marvel crash lands in the rock. Captain Marvel is met by a number of magic users including Zatanna, Phantom Stranger, and Madame Xanadu. Cap had gone to meet with the Egyptian Gods to convince them to sever their ties with Adam and to send their lightning but they refused to make him mortal again and bless his actions. Upon being asked if there was no way to force the change Captain Marvel tells them to “Let me think…” Beijing: From a building top Natasha and John Henry prepare a Thunder Missile to shot at Black Adam. John Henry: Once this missile hits Black Adam, he’ll inhale the A.I. nanites inside. They’ll work their way to his brain, fuse onto his neurons and short-circuit his motor functions. Ready? Natasha: Ready. John Henry: Launch in 3…2… ***Just then Booster Gold appears out of a big blue flash of light and grabs the missile*** John Henry: Booster Gold? Natasha: I thought he was dead. Booster: Not Yet. Natasha: Hey, you idiot! We need that! Booster: Sorry, Kid. I need it more than you. Besides, it wasn’t gonna work anyway. Thrust Me--- ***And in another flash, Booster is gone*** Meanwhile, down on the street Stargirl asks if anyone has seen Atom Smasher. Using his powers, Sandman informs her that he is”lying across the Earth with a dozen others. They’re falling fast.” Infinity Inc. is then spotted by Green Lantern and approaches them. Alan: I’d heard you were among the few from the Everyman Project to retain your powers. Good. The World’s going to Hell. You said you’d be the first one to run into battle with Infinity Inc at your side. This is it, son, and we could use… Nuklon: …I’m not. I’m not going in there against that. None of us are. ***Infinity Inc. runs away*** Wildcat: Figures. Jakeem: So now what? Alan: We do what the Justice Society always does. We keep fighting. During the fight, Jay receives a telepathic message from Zatanna with a plan of action. Green Lantern and Power Girl fly up to Black Adam and carry him up towards the sky. During the flight Lantern receives a message from Zatanna to “stay on course. Captain Marvel is moving to intercept”. Just before Captain Marvel reaches Black Adam he shouts “Shazam” and big flash of lightning lights up the sky. Zatanna: The spell is working! If Billy were grounded, he’d be dead… Madame Zanadu: He’s LOSING IT! Alan, hurry! Zatanna: If we can’t force Adam to call down the lightning we have to bring him to it. There is a big explosion in the sky, knocking those standing to the ground and from up in the sky, the mortal body of Black Adam falls. His attempts to change back do not work but he is saved when he is caught by a giant hand. Down on the ground, Flash is running around looking for Green Lantern. Flash: Alan? Cap? Did anyone see where they went? Anyone? ***Jay located Alan helping Captain Marvel to his feet*** Green Lantern: We’re—nngh—we’re all right, Jay. But Adam—I tried like hell to hold onto him, but that blast ripped him right out of my hands! Flash: Then this isn’t over! Tell me we didn’t lose him after all that! Atom Smasher: Sorry, Jay…the light, the shock wave…no one saw xactly what happened. Captain Marvel: Flash, relax. He’s…not a threat anymore. If Adam even, survived that fall…and that’s a big IF…then we will find him and we will prosecute him no matter how long that takes. Flash: How? All he has to do is shout one word, and we’re right back to— Captain Marvel: I’m the Guardian of Magic now, Jay. That brings with it a new level of ability. True, I couldn’t get Adam’s Gods to rescind their gifts…so I did the next best thing. I changed his magic word. Flash: To what? Captain Marvel: I’ll never tell another living soul. I don’t dare. But I promise you this…he will never guess. ***Black Adam walks the streets of an Arabian town trying to figure out the magic word*** The Rocky Mountains: Morrow arrives in the Omnibot with Red Tornado’s head and enters a secret lair. Week 49 recap Week 49, Day 1 Oolong Island: The JSA arrives at Oolong Island but is unable to enter the labs and rescue Black Adam as the protective shields are up. As Alan Scott is telling Egg Fu that the JSA will take Black Adam by force, he is interrupted by the Socialist Red Guardsman of the Great Ten. SRG: This Island and everything on it belong to us. If you set foot on this island or elsewhere on Chinese soil, it will be considered an act of war. Any attempt to retrieve Black Adam will be met with ultimate force. Inside the labs, Egg Fu has left the monitors to find Doc Magnus to see if the Plutonium Man is ready. After Egg locates Magnus in his lab, he inquires as to Magnus being able to bring metal to life. Magnus explains how the Responsometer technology works and that the “Metal Men pretty much build themselves. And they can be any size”. At this point the Metal Men reveal themselves to Egg Fu and start to attack him in their mini forms. Doc Morrow hears the noise coming from Magnus’ lab and grabs a gun. Meanwhile back outside, Alan tells the Guardsman that they are not there representing any nation and that they are free agents. Guardsman checks in with his superiors and is told that the orders are as given. SRG: Move any closer and there will be war. Alan: I can’t believe your leaders. Are you willing to start World War III over one man? Why? ***Thundermind’s eyes start to glow*** Alan:…because you’re covering something up, aren’t you? Chang Tzu is a member of the Great Ten. Back in Magnus’ lab Mercury is blown apart by Morrow who has just entered the lab. Morrow points the gun – a particle wave pistol, which looks more like a riffle than a pistol - at Magnus and tells him that he wouldn’t lower the shields if I were you as the place is crawling with angry superheroes. Magnus tells Morrow that it has to stop and takes out a remote control from his pocket. Magnus: …this control here operates Sivana’s teleport link to his Omnibot, currently in geosynchronous orbit above our heads. No one would know. I mean in all the confusion and chaos you could have gone anywhere. Morrow: Why are you doing this to help me, Will? I…I’ve been absolutely rotten to you, my boy. I don’t deserve your loyalty. Magnus: Maybe not…But like I said, you were the best teacher I ever knew. I try to overlook the whole psychopathic super-villain thing. Morrow: Well. We all have our flaws ***Morrow leaves the gun and starts to teleport*** I was right about the tablets, though wasn’t I? As Sivana packs up and gets ready to leave, SRG and Alan continue their conversation: SRG: Chang Tzu a member of the Great Ten? Ridiculous. Alan: Oolong Island was a Red Chinese stronghold from way back. Under Orders from Beijing, Chang Tzu and his crew used Intergang money to build Doomsday Weapons with only one purpose…the assassination of the Black Marvel Family. No one expected Black Adam to survive the attack, did they? But now you’re here to finish the job. Because if any of this gets out, if he gets out, your bosses are first on the firing line. And Chang Tzu knows that too. Chang Tzu holds all the cards. He wants to play us all. Back at headquarters for the Great Ten, the Accomplished Perfect Physician and August General in Iron look on from to the showdown. AGiI: How can the Green Lantern know all of this? The monitor screen then moves in on Thundermind showing his glowing eyes. Power Girl taken notice that the protection shield are down and informs Alan. Alan: Tell your superiors this—Black Adam is ours. We’re taking him into custody. We’ll leave Change Tzu to you. And there won’t be a war. Egg Fu and Professor Mortis locate Magnus in the hallways and try and stop him. Magnus aims the gun Morrow left with him in his left hand and holds up a tube with his right. Egg Fu: You only have one weapon. And you are no match for Chang Tzu. Magnus: I have a bullet. GO GET HIM LEAD. ***And with a blast, Lead is projected though the top of Egg Fu’s head leaving a big hole.*** Magnus, to the other scientists: Drop it. I have a particle wave ray gun and a bipolar disorder. I have no idea what it might do to you if I pull the trigger. As Professor Mortis and the others run away, Egg Fu comes up behind Magnus. Magnus: You shouldn’t have taken away my meds. I told you I do crazy things without my meds. Magnus pulls the trigger, shattering the rest of Egg Fu except for his mechanical legs. The JSA then enter the labs and find Magnus who quickly surrenders to them. Atom Smasher continues on down the halls and runs into Sivana. Atom picks up Sivana and threatens to grind his bones to dust if he does not tell him where Black Adam is. Atom Smasher locates Black Adam and frees him from the table where he was being tortured. Atom: I’m here with the Justice Society. We’re going to get you out of here. BA: You’re here with the Justice Society…? Atom: They’ll take you into custody. They’ll keep you safe. BA: I won’t stay in their custody, Albert. The ones who orchestrated the murder of my family still breathe. Justice must be had. Atom: And what about the justice for all those innocent men, women and children they say you killed in Bialya? It wasn’t you was it? It was one of the Horsemen they built here. If you murdered that country…you know you could never go back. You could never watch over Kahndaq again. You could never protect your people. Tell me it wasn’t you. Black Adam looks at Atom Smasher, starts to glow and tells Albert “They wanted a War, Albert. I’m going to give it to them. It’s not over”. And them proceeds to fly out of the building through the roof. Metropolis: Jade: Yes, it is, Nuklon. The whole world’s turned against Luthor and all of his Everyman experiments. Nuklon: We’re more than experiments, Jade. Jade: There are only a handful of us left. Nuklon: But we can still be the future. We can still run in and save the day when it counts as Infinity Inc. We can still prove to the world that we can do it better than those stupid old men in the JSA. We only need the chance. A pissed off Black Adam is shown flying. Next Week: World War III

Damn it fuck, looks like the Clippers will have to finish 4-2 or 5-1 to hold off Golden State It looks like the Clippers best hope will be if they pass the Lakers. Clippers have to beat Hornets tomorrow and Lakers on Thurday, and then hope Lakers lose one more game than they do in the final games.

Week 48 Recap Week 48, Day 1- 3 Gotham City: Nightwing and Renee are beating their way through the Gotham Underworld looking for Mannheim. ***this is over two pages and seven panels*** Week 48, Day 4 Gotham City: Batwoman is drugged and laid out on an alter by Whisper in preparation for the sacrificial prophecy with Abbot looking on in his wolfman form. Nightwing and Renee have taken out a gang of Manimals and start to interrogate a squid-looking creature about Mannheim’s whereabouts. The squid-creature tells then that it is too late as they and Gotham will burn. Nightwing and Renee are then attacked from behind from a fire-breathing, flying demon that looks like a red bull [ENTER JOKE HERE] a vulture creature and a bull-creature. Renee shoots the vulture-creature and is then grabbed by the bull-creature while Nightwing is attacked by the red-bull demon. Nightwing kicks Red Bull away and is saved by Abbot who attacks Red Bull from behind. Renee kicks a mouse-creature and then shoots the bull-creature. When asked for an explanation, Abbot tells Nightwing that he is tired of prophecies and then asks where the vulture went to. The vulture creature is then shown on a device which he activates sending a huge pillar of fire into the night sky. From outside the group sees that there are a number of these flaming pillars all over Gotham digging their way down to create a pit of fire by dawn. Renee tells Nightwing and Abbot to take out the devices while she takes care of Mannheim. Renee takes out a face mask, triggers the gas and becomes the Question. Renee arrives at Mannheim’s hideout in time to see the sacrifice in progress but is attacked from behind before she can fire a shot off at Mannheim. During the fight Renee is caught by a snake creature but is able to get herself free just in time to see Mannheim thrust the blade into Kate’s chest. Renee fires off a shot which takes Mannheim down and then fires again at the chains holding Kate down. Renee starts to pull the blade out of Kate’s chest but is stopped by Kate because it will make it worse. With her attention on Kate, Renee does not notice that Mannheim has gotten back up. He grabs Renee and throws her against a wall. Renee pulls out her gun only to have it taken away by Mannheim. Mannheim: …I’ll take my gun back now, if you don’t mind. Renee: Hey, all you had to do was ask. Mannheim: Funny. Let’s see if you make a funny pile of dust. ***Mannheim takes aim at Renee*** Renee: I wouldn’t do that. Mannheim: You wouldn’t? And why not? Kate: She wasn’t talking to you, Bruno. She was talking to me. Kate pulls the dagger from her chest and throws it at Mannheim imbedding itself in his back and taking him out. Kate drops to the floor. Kate: Think maybe…I should’na done…that… Renee: Stay with me Kate…stay with me..this time it’s different. And from a downwards shot you can see Mannheim in a pool of blood and a bat flying up in the smoke.
