DAMNIT Clippers lose to the Wolves in OT. Cassell is just so fuckin clutch, I love watching him go off on people but of course not when he plays my team. It was also nice to hear the classy Latrell "I need to feed my family" Spreewell going around shouting "Suck my Dick" for the last 30 seconds of the game

Clips win 5th in a row for the first time in 9 years. Brand with 27 points. Props to the under-maned Pacers who played with absolutely no one and hung in there for 44 minutes. I was nervous the whole game.

Update on Tough Enough from Meltzer "Ryan Reeves was cut tonight in the Tough Enough competition, leaving just Mike Mizanin, Justice Smith and Daniel Puder as the final three. The plan at this point is to cut one competitor on Tuesday, and the final two will have a shoot match under boxing rules on the PPV. Yes, even after everything that has happened, they haven't learned the dangers of the unpredictability of shooting on live TV yet."

I'm thankful for the Clippers playing some decent ball and for Shaun Livingston only dislocating his kneecap and not tearing any ligament in the process.

Here is more good P.R. for the NBA INDIANAPOLIS -- Minnesota Timberwolves center Michael Olowokandi was arrested early Thursday morning after he refused to leave a club. Police officers used a stun gun to subdue Olowokandi, 29, and take him into custody at about 3 a.m. after he refused to leave Tiki Bob's, said Indianapolis Police spokesman Sgt. Stephen Staletovich. Olowokandi was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing, both misdemeanors, Staletovich said. Olowokandi was held overnight in an Indianapolis jail and released Thursday afternoon on his own recognizance. The Timberwolves were in Indianapolis to play the Indiana Pacers later Thursday at Conseco Fieldhouse. Staletovich said the club's manager asked police, who were investigating another call, to help him get the 7-foot Olowokandi to leave. He refused, and police shocked him twice with a stun gun until he complied and they took him into custody. The Associated Press left a message seeking comment Thursday with Timberwolves spokesman Paul Thompson. Olowokandi is averaging 5.3 points and 5.2 rebounds per game for the Timberwolves this season.

DAMNIT!!!! The Clippers can't catch a fucking break. I was so excited for this Thursday's game because the Clips were finally going to have their entire roster on the floor. However Shaun Livingston dislocated his knee in practice today and is out for two months. He is such a fun guy to watch and has been doing well for a rookie that it just kills me that he is out of action.
-
Did you even watch the thing? Yes Artest grabbed the wrong guy , however Artest was gotten a hold of before he could do anything. Where the fuck did people get the idea that Artest and Jackson just went in there ands started punching people. Jackson punched the guy that threw a drink at Artest's face. Artest started swinging after he got punched from behind. And the fan that was on the court went up to Artest as though he was going to punch him.
-
I still can't believe how anyone that saw the whole thing can say that it is was a fair decision to suspend Artest for the whole season. Artest had been subdued once he got hold of the fan, the riot started when a fan threw a drink in his face and Stephen Jackson punched that guy. From then on everything Artest did was in self defense(the guy punching him from behind and the guys that stepped onto the court)
-
Here is the suspension report from ESPN news Artest: gone for the year Jackson: 30 games O'Neal: 25 games Ben Wallace: 6 games Chauncy: 1 game Derrick Coleman: 1 game Elden Campbell: 1 game Anthony Johnson: 5 games

Yeah. If you had access to the full footage, the kid was being comforted by the fat guy when they changed over. Just to clarify, In today's L.A. Times it mentions that the big fat guy is a brother of Ben Wallace and that the kid that was crying is Darvin Ham's son.

I went back to and look at it again and based on the angle that the cup came flying from it appears that the she wasn't the one that threw it. The cup was either thrown by the guy wearing the cap as Jim Gray said or that young guy in a dark gray sweater(who was quick to run away when Artest jumped over) that was standing behind the woman.
-
Gotta disagree, especially about Stephen Jackson, he ran right by Artest to punch someone. But that was after the guy threw his drink at Artest while Artest was being held.
-
After watching the repeats The event that caused this to break loose was when Artest after charging the fan seemed to have gain some control of himself (after being subdued) , was hit with a drink right in his face by the fan to his right, causing Jackson to start swinging at that fan. If it wasn't for that perhaps none of this happens
