I don't know about that, but you have to realize that Smackdown's roster has been completely destroyed. Think about it NO Edge NO Undertaker They LOSE Benoit and Hardy to Raw and get nothing in return. I actually tried to come up with a card for No Way Out last week and the only match I could come up with, other than the three already announced, was Noble vs. Nidia.

- Shannon Moore (singles) and A-Train and Rhyno (tag-team) won dark matches. - Velocity pyro. - Nunzio def. Paul London. - Velocity announcers introduced. - The World's Greatest Tag Team def. Ultimo Dragon and Funaki. - Bradshaw def. Johnny Stamboli. - Changeover to Smackdown. - Paul Heyman starts in the ring and says he will announce the No. 1 contender for the WWE title at WrestleMania later in the show. He then segues into the first match... - Rikishi and Scotty Too Hotty def. the Bashams to win the WWE tag-team titles. Bashams were understandably pissed after the match, but no signs of a break-up or anything. Rikishi won with a Samoan drop. Not sure which Basham took the fall, but if one of them usually wears an elbow pad and the other doesn't, then it was the one who doesn't wear one that was pinned. - Video recap of Eddie's victory last week. - Cat def. Tajiri. The two dudes who come out with Tajiri attacked the Cat, but Orlando Jordan made the save, and the Cat and Jordan danced. The silence from the crowd was hard to overlook. - Heyman and Cena made some FCC/Janet Jackson references in the locker room. I missed part of what they said because of people moving around near me, but whatever it was became moot later on. - Tape of Austin offering his NWO ticket to Goldberg. - Big Show def. Billy Gunn to retain the U.S. title. Time slowed to a halt during this match. It didn't seem like it was going to end, but crowd got into it for last 30 seconds. - Chavo and Chavo Sr. talk with Heyman, who says Chavo will take on Rey Mysterio at No Way Out. Chavo says he'll take Rey's mask if he wins. Chavo Sr. will also face Rey during Smackdown. - Eddie comes out to bask in the glory of his victory, but is interrupted by Brock Lesnar. They trade insults, Eddie attacks, Lesnar retreats, but leaves the belt. Eddie puts the belt on. - Kane-Undertaker footage from Monday. - Kidman def. Noble when Nidia distracts Noble by throwing all the money in his wallet into the crowd. Couldn't tell if the money was real. - Noble talks Heyman into a match against Nidia at No Way Out. - World premier of Rey Mysterio's music video. - Torrie and Sable are announced as the Playboy models, with a short behind-the-scenes video. - Rey Mysterio def. Chavo Sr. - Kurt Angle def. Hardcore Holly. Heyman comes out, and is about to announce the No. 1 contender, but Big Show interrupts and comes to the ring to plead his case. Then John Cena interrupts and Heyman makes a Cena-Show-Angle match at No Way Out for the No. 1 contender spot. Cena leaves, Heyman leaves, then Kurt and Show go nose to nose and and Kurt slams Show. I would guess the show cuts off before Kurt slams Show because they started swearing at that point.

I would take Elton Brand over both Brand 20.1 pts 12 boards 3.6 assists .76 steals 2.24 blocks No big deal though, Elton would have been in if he didn't miss 13 games at the beginning of the year. And if Kobe goes to the Clips next year, Elton Brand will never miss an All-Star game ever again.

Regular season baseball its so freaking boring, unless Gagne is in for a save. However play-off baseball is like the greatest thing on earth. You live and die with every pitch.

Kurt Angle Mark replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
If you click on the "Rankings: Most and least annoying " at the top of the screen they have two lists with HHH being the only wrestler in the Most Annoying list While Stone Cold, Lance Storm, Chris Jericho, Owen Hart, Bret Hart, Lita and Stephanie are on the Least Annoying List -

Matt Morgan injured at Smackdown house show...
Kurt Angle Mark replied to Placebo Effect's topic in The WWE Folder
Update by Dave Meltzer [email protected] Matt Morgan was released from the hospital after suffering an apparent stinger in a match tonight in Reading, PA. During a tag match, Morgan took a clothesline from Bob Holly, and didn't get up. The match stopped and Morgan still couldn't get to his feet. He was eventually taken to the hospital. At this point it doesn't appear that the injury is serious. -
by Dave Meltzer [email protected] Although it appeared that John Cena may have blown out his knee or ankle when he landed badly during his elimination from tonight's Royal Rumble, he is fine and not injured.
-
Funny, when they showed the guys in the Royal Rumble on Smackdown, Rhyno's pic was there. However they never mentioned he was in it or is listed to be in it in WWE.com

Here is a another more detailed report Report by Troy Throne (1) Paul London defeated Lenny Lane. Paul London was out first to a mild pop, while Lenny got a huge pop and the crowd was nuts for him the whole time for some odd reason. A fairly good match with a botched spot or two VELOCITY TAPING (1) Worlds Greatest Tag Team defeated Rikishi & Scotty Too Hotty. WGTT got a big pop, the crowd went wild for Rikishi, I have no clue why. Good match with WGTT winning with the superkick into the back suplex. Scotty hurt his arm during the match, I had a backstage view and he looked to be in big pain when he got back. (2) Bashams (w/the the real manbeast shaniqua) defeated Ultimo Dragon & Funaki. Nothing of note in this match other than Ultimo Dragon's pyro is extremely hot (3) Orlando Jordan defeated Jobber whose name I don't remember. The only good thing about this match was the "lets go jobber" chants going on in my section. Funny stuff SMACKDOWN TAPINGS (1) Rey Mysterio defeated Chuck Palumbo (w/FBI). Great match with Mysterio winning with a rollup. FBI beats him down afterwards when Jamie Noble comes out and hands Nunzio an envelope then holds the title up. Paul Heyman cuts a promo on Benoit and Cena claiming they have ruined Smackdown then claims a new era of Smackdown starting tonight makes a 2 on 4 match with him sitting at ringside (2) Tajiri defeated Billy Kidman to advance to the Rumble match. Sloppy match with Kidman missing the shooting star press and Tajiri winning with the kick to the face. Backstage segment with Brock Lesnar following Big Show around. Show is pissed and tells Brock that he's just doing it cause he is scared of Holly. In a funny moment Lesnar gets upset saying he's put on 15 pounds being around Show and all the food. Funny segment. (3) A-Train defeated Shannon Moore to advance to Rumble. A-train wins despite The Cat coming out and dancing. Lots of "shave your back" chants. (4) John Cena & Chris Benoit defeated Rhyno & Matt Morgan & Brock Lesnar & Big Show. Big Show was trapped in his locker room backstage. Monstrous hometown pop for Lesnar which quickly turned into heat and "you tapped out"chants. Heyman was at ringside sitting on a lifeguard chair. Cena cut a funny rap before the match talking about Heyman and Lesnar giving each other massages. Great match which went a long time with Lesnar trying to leave the match and getting attacked by Hardcore Holly, who was actually very over with the crowd and plays the nuts gimmick very well. Cena wins with the F-U on Rhyno. Show comes out afterwards and lays out Cena and Benoit (5) Bradshaw defeated Akio & Sakoda in a triple threat match to advance to Rumble. In a word, boring. (6) Chavo Guerrero Jr. & Sr. defeated Kurt Angle& Eddie Guerrero. Biggest pop of the night for Eddie. Kind of disappointing match considering the talent involved. Chavo Sr. seems to be in great shape and held his own in the ring with the other three. Finish happens as Angle gets hit in the face and temporarily blinded hits Eddie with the Angle Slam and gets taken to the back, Chavo then hits the frogsplash for the win Overall a great show, well worth the price. The lower level was sold out with the top level blocked off on the camera side and the top level on the other side half full. After the cameras stopped rolling Eddie calls Chavo out for an impromptu match and wins it with the frog splash. Biggest pops of the night go to Eddie, Cena, Lesnar, Angle, Benoit, and Holly. Biggest heat goes to Heyman, Lesnar when the match started, and Chavo. --------------------------------------------------- So it appears Tajiri, A-Train, Bradshaw and Rhyno are in the Rumble, with one spot remaining.
-
I assume that Tajiri vs. Kidman might be a RR qualifying match, since it would make sense and the guy doing the report said he didn't see the match so he might have missed that. If I were to guess I would say Rhyno and the APA will be the other three Smackdown guys in the Rumble.

Last Week Raw= 4.19 million viewers Smackdown= 5.55 million viewers I was caught off guard by the difference but that is what Neilsen is reporting

17. WM 7 was the first WWE PPV I saw live on PPV, so the whole Savage/Warrior match(Warrior was my favorite wrestler) and the post match stuff with Elizabeth was my first WM mark out moment ever.

I just noticed that if the Colts and Panthers win The Colts would get a shot at getting revenge on the three teams they lost to at home (Denver, New England, Carolina) -

ESPN.com news services The Knicks and Suns finalized a blockbuster trade Monday that will return Stephon Marbury to his hometown. The Knicks acquire Marbury and Penny Hardaway from Phoenix for Antonio McDyess, Howard Eisley, Charlie Ward, the rights to Milos Vujanic, two first-round draft picks, and cash, ESPN.com has learned. The trade still requires NBA approval. The Suns will get the Knicks' first-round pick this year and a future conditional first-round pick. The trade will be the fifth of Marbury's career. The Brooklyn native was drafted by Milwaukee and immediately traded to Minnesota, where he subsequently forced a trade to New Jersey. The Nets traded him to Phoenix for Jason Kidd, and he now could be headed to the Knicks in the first major move made by new team president Isiah Thomas. The trade is a major shakeup of both teams. Phoenix, in exchange for its best player, would be gaining salary cap flexibility that would allow the Suns to rebuild a team that was eliminated in the first round of the playoffs last season after missing the postseason a year earlier. The contracts of McDyess and Ward expire at the end of this season, and Ward has a buyout clause that can be exercised before Jan. 10. Eisley is under contract for three more seasons; Vujanic, the starting point guard on the Yugoslavian team that won the 2002 World Championships, is playing in Europe. Information from The Associated Press was used in this report.

Here is the finalized trade "New York acquires Marbury, Penny Hardaway, and Cezary Trybanski from Phoenix for Antonio McDyess, Howard Eisley, Charlie Ward, Maciej Lampe, the rights to Milos Vujanic, two first round picks and cash." I don't know about the Knicks giving up Lampe as well

I think it's great for the Suns. This year is a wash for them so no big deal. Now they got rid of Penny's contract and that hog Marbury. which means they can build around Marion and Stoudamire with all the cap space they will have next year.
