    WWE Extreme Rules

PWInsider.com has confirmed before tonight's WWE pay-per-view that newly crowned WWE Champion Batista has suffered a torn bicep and is scheduled to have surgery this coming Tuesday afternoon. Batista defeated Randy Orton in a steel cage match tonight at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view. As of a few hours ago, he was also written into tomorrow's RAW storylines. Expect the injury will be worked into WWE storylines also. The news of the injury was known before the Extreme Rules show hit the air tonight and did not occur in the match with Randy Orton. There's still no word yet on when the most recent injury to Batista happened. There's no word yet on the severity of the bicep tear or how long Batista is expected out of action, but a few people have been wondering if the injury will mean an imminent return for Triple H. Since Batista is booked for RAW tonight, they may end up doing some kind of rematch clause with Randy Orton or maybe something else has happened that we don't know yet to allow Batista to remain in action. Regardless of what happens, we will keep you updated on what happens going into tomorrow night's RAW.

Eastbound & Down, the HBO comedy series starring Danny McBride, is returning for a second season, the network announced Wednesday. New episodes are scheduled to debut in 2010. The six-episode comedy, executive produced in part by Will Farrell, received critical praise. The final episode leaves off with Powers landing another big-league offer.

Soccer fans. "12 rounds" was promoted like hell in all soccer games, English and Spanish telecasts. It was fun seeing Mexican and British guys having no idea how to pronounce Cena.

    Eastbound and Down

Eastbound and Down did better than Flight of the Conchords, Season Finale rating (904,000 vs. 678,000 viewers) Also the ratings don't really matter since premium channels don't sell commercial time.

    Heroes

From EW.com The ink on NBC's unofficial renewal of Heroes is barely dry and already the show's producers are looking ahead to the fourth season. Truth be told, they've been looking ahead for some time now. "We've spent a lot of time in the writers room talking about what season 4 is going to look like," consulting producer Bryan Fuller told me earlier this week. (At the time he was cautiously optimistic about the show's chances of returning.) Fuller says the final moments of the season 3 finale will set the stage for what's to come in the fall. "Basically, the last act of episode 25, similar to what's been done in the past, opens up a new chapter of Heroes. It sets up arcs for a variety of characters." That's particularly true in the case of Claire, Fuller says. "We set all the pieces up in terms of Claire's attitude and what her trajectory is going to be in season 4. You will have a very strong idea by the end of this season's final episode where Claire is going and what's going to be happening with the Petrellis." --------- NBC says that Heroes will be back for 18-20 episodes next season

    Chris Brown

Chris Brown was been charged with two felonies by the Los Angeles District Attorney today. TMZ reports that he has been charged with felony assault and making criminal threats. He is going to be arraigned today as scheduled at 3:30 in a Los Angeles courtroom. Brown could face a maximum of four years and eight months in prison if convicted. Brown allegedly beat his girlfriend Rihanna after a party on February 8 after she was said to have discovered a text from another woman on his cell phone. The court documents named the victim as "Robyn. F." Rihanna's full name is Robin Rihanna Fenty. According to Radar Online, the evidence against Brown is substantial. Notes from a detective working the case indicate that an argument between the two broke out after Rihanna read a three-page text message on Brown's phone from another woman. According to the detective's notes, Brown allegedly shoved Rihanna's head against the passenger window, punched her, and continued punching her whille driving. The police report also alleges that Brown bit Rihanna on her ear and fingers, and put her in a headlock. The detective's notes also indicate that blood filled Rihanna's mouth and was splattered in the car. Brown allegedly told Rihanna, "I am going to beat the **** out of you when we get home. You wait and see." Hell of a guy, no wonder she crawled back to him. They should both be put in jail for being idiots.

This is not about the fans, because people are idiots. The question is who in the music industry will be willing to work with him after this? He didn't beat some random girl, he beat up someone else in the business.

Biggest "Drop the Ball" Moment in Ever

The Kurt/Steph/HHH love triangle One of the few times in pro wrestling history in which there was a storyline that appealed to both men and women and it was just dropped with no real resolution. If Steph would have left HHH for Angle, HHH would have been a monster face and Angle w/ Steph a monster heel. If they would have built to a match at WM 17 where HHH gets revenge, WM 17 would have been even bigger than it was.

    This week in the NBA

Nice to see the Clippers finally have most of its roster healthy, (still need Kaman back) After losing seven in a row by an average of 20 points, it looks like Dunleavy finally gave up on trying to get the team to play his way and has let them "run an gun" resulting in 2 wins by 20 points. Of course it helps to have Randolph back in form. 27 threes in two games, that is what the Clippers used to hit in 2 months. Hopefully they can win the last 2 games before the break. If they stay healthy I think they can be one of the better teams in the second half of the season.
