I agree, King of the Hill is totally underrataed in the scheme of 90s/00s cartoons. It's brilliant stuff, its funny, has a ton of social commentary, and has a lot of heart and emotion. America would be a better place i everyone watched King of the Hill and learned from it.

I read somewhere that the Damon/Affleck movie is one elaborate prank. I think is all a big joke.
-
Add the "Shark Tank" promo before the 6 man Hell in a Cell match. I think it is one of Angle's most funny promos of all time.
-
I am not a P. Diddy fan, but at least he is doing a cool play. A Rasin in the Sun is an important piece of American literature.
-
I would add Greg Graffin of Bad Religion to your list.

So is Charles Barkley's book awesome or what?

I second that nomination for Billy Boyd. He was absolutely awesome. But this question is so tough. I dont have any idea where to begin on picking a favorite performance. They were all fantastic. McKellen. Bean. Hill. Mortensen. Astin. Serkis. All amazing. I would just say Billy Boyd because I like the character of Pippen.

I thought it was Offspring pointing out how lame the Parental Advisory Stickers are as opposed to making a joke. 11 expletives? You see and hear much worse than that watching an hour of TV. They were probably really surprised that the record label came to them and said they needed a PA sticker so they decided to add the other as well.

when you make lists THIS LONG, how much thought do you really put into the rankings? have you really decided that #145 is better than #144? or do you just kind of gerenalize? "this one looks good in about the 120s region"

It would be interesting to see all of the "failed" punks. The ones that didn't work out for one reason or another. I'm sure there were tons of them. I for one am glad the show is gone. A few of the pranks were funny, but in general, Ashton Kutcher was just annoying and phony. Stupid Idiot.

No, not Dog Poo. He's more like a prop.

I agree that the supporting characters list was getting overloaded, but I disagree about writing them out. Develop all the kids more. They are all works of Geinus! I want to know more about Token! Bebe! Jimmy! Clyde! Wendy! Craig! All of them! Even Gary!

I love that South Park gets its own thread every week as opposed to there being one massive "South Park Season 7" thread. It is just some much easier to read and discuss this way.

The Rage Against the Machine live DVD also comes out this week. It is a DVD of thier last show ever.

I would say Streets of Rage. But I don't know if that is really considered a fighting game.
-
Agreed. The man is a Genius.

I was at NWO 2002. It was an OK expierence but the crowd sucked ass. There may have been some funny comments form the corwd, but they were DEAD. The biggest pops of the night were Dustian Diamond (Screech) in the crowd and a fight in the crowd that broke out in the crowd during the Rock/Taker match.

So when is the tourney starting?

I couldn't agree more about Sunday in the Park with George. Good suff. Ever hear Assassins? It is far and away my favorite Sondheim. Also, West Side Story it technically a Sondheim work which there is a film version of.
-
Where's the love for Pirates of Penzance? Gilbert and Sullivan wrote some of the greatests operettas of all time and the film version with Kevin Kline is one of the best musical films of all time.
-
You guys are right about Sweeny Todd and Into the Woods. The reason I nominated them is because I saw Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat on the list. This is the same thing. It was just a filmed version of the stage show. Yes, it was on a soundstage, but it was the exact same thing as the show. To my knowledge, there is no real "movie" version of it.

Tony Clifton sings two songs including "I will survive" Andy Kaufman sings "It's a freindly, freindly world" and "the might mouse theme."
