But that triple post certainly wasn't.

I have a feeling these posts were intentional.

Man, drama is just the worst. I'm glad I stay out of it.

boo. Get off the stage.

That's not true. If a feud is built up for weeks and put in a gimmick match, it will get a higher rating than a match put together with that same gimmick without a feud at all. Unfortunately, what I've found is what works for the other brand will not work for you. They can put on gimmick matches galore and use the same guys constantly, and almost none of them will get highly fatigued or seriously injured. That's not the same with the brand you control, which is pretty ridiculous. So although feuds don't have to work for the other brand, they definitely do need to work for you if you want higher star ratings. By the way, I have had one five-star match so far. Triple H vs. Hulk Hogan in a Last Man Standing match. So take from that what you want.

I would guess it partially has to do with starting threads like this. Just a thought. Oh, and the Cornell thing. We all hate you for that too.

I think I hate the GM mode. I finally had my brand going at a decent momentum, and Triple H -- the Heavyweight Champion and most over guy at 93 popularity -- suddenly gets injured and is out for seven weeks. Despite the fact his fatigue wasn't even all that high. Now my ratings are falling again, and I'm still not sure on how to fix it.

Well, that goes without saying. I'm on the same level as mah thug Slapnuts.

I don't understand all the college kids that appear on The Price is Right. I'm in college. I do not know one person who watches the show, even once in a while.

Hoff sobbed and vomited all over the floor when Eddie Guerrero died. I'd put him on the same level as Downhome.

You IMed me as you were drunk on eggnog. Drunk.... ....on.... ....eggnog.

Agreed. The Christmas music has already started for me, and the tree is going up this weekend.

Does seem to defeat the purpose of playing though.

So....anybody have any tips for GM Mode? It seems as if the only way you're guaranteed to beat the other brand every week is to stack the card with a ridiculous amount of gimmick matches with the best workers on the roster. As the Smackdown brand, this approach has worked for me up until Judgment Day, where the PPV got a four-star rating. Unfortunately, looking over my roster now, almost all of the Main Eventers are completely fatigued, which leaves me in a hole. Yet I'm almost sure, if I didn't take this approach, my brand would be in a much worse position than it is now financially. Does anybody have any strategies or tips for handling GM mode -- particularly booking the shows to receive the most fans?

26. Slapnuts looks at him and says "Man, stop being such a pussy"

24. What the hell is the purpose of having a 2-second clip of Arrested Development in your sig anyway?

One specific thing I don't like about this game is that it's very hard to hit top rope finishers this time around. Particularly with RVD. You'll have the opponent laying down, jump on the top rope, and fly off with the frog splash....and while in mid-air, the opponent will just pop back up to his feet and stand in place, screwing up the entire move. I can't count how many times that's happened to me with RVD and Eddie Guerrero already. Otherwise, I'm pleased with the game so far. I haven't been able to explore the Season Mode or GM Mode yet, but the graphics are great -- particularly with the entrances -- and I'm liking the stamina option. And for people who like to make CAWs or have found a nice CAW site already....Samoa Joe and AJ Styles CAWs would be much appreciated. Because I'm much too lazy to do it myself.

If they did an angle where a wrestler was found unconscious in his hotel room...ok, yeah, that is bad taste no matter how you spin it. But if they do a generic injury angle, it's not even in the same ballpark. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Daniels did a big blade job, blood pouring all over ring, alot of EMTs, dramatic shot of the ambulance driving away. West and Tenay calling it a digusting act from Joe...etc. Obviously people will find anything to bitch about, it's the nature of the 'net. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why don't you wait until people start complaining before you begin jumping to conclusions? You're fighting a battle against something that hasn't even happened yet.

I'm thinking Kennedy/Venis was a dark match.
-
You should go, man. It'll be hard, but you'd regret it if you didn't. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Really. Like I said, you're not going to get to go to the funeral. But this would probably be the second closest thing to that.

The two daughters thing, I would guess, is simply because WWE.com is not completely familiar with the Guerrero family. I'm sure they didn't talk to a family member or anything, so they needed to go by what they thought they knew. I'm sure the mistake will be fixed later. And today's November 13th. They may have botched it and wrote October 13th because they were in a hurry to get it on the website before anyone else broke the news.

....whoa. This is the first death that's really shocked me in a long time. That's horrible.
