  1. I think Sly cried and quit again so I don't expect the Women's title match anytime soon. But I still don't have the Tag Fatal Fourway and Axel/Tony match yet. Still.
  2. It's 8:20 AM EST and over the course of the night, I received absolutely nothing. So, at the earliest, the show will be posted tonight. And like I said, I don't get the stuff I need by tonight, we'll go to tomorrow then. Not to get on my high horse here, but this is unacceptable.

    The Mexicools and Carlito

It'd be hard with Carlito on Raw and the Mexicools on Smackdown.
  4. The show is officially not going to be posted until tomorrow morning, at the earliest. I do not have the Axel/Tony match. I do not have the Tag Team Fatal Fourway match. I do not have the Women's title Fatal Fourway match. I do not have this Tom Livingston vs. Cuban Wall match. I do not have this James Cone segment. I do not have many things, among of which are the two top matches of the night. And they haven't come yet. Well, unfortunately, I don't have countless hours to sit here and wait for you guys to come up with the stuff on time. I'm not going to post a show with two of the biggest matches missing. It's happened before. People have bitched because of it. So I'm not stepping into that trap. I'm going to try to post the show tomorrow morning. I'm going to be gone for the day, so if I don't have the stuff by 8 AM EST, the show will wait until tomorrow night. If I don't have the stuff by tomorrow night, then it will be Tuesday afternoon. And so on. I'm not going to slap my name on a half-assed posted show. So either, I'm going to get the big matches I've been waiting for, or the show is going to continue to wait. Deadlines are put in place for a reason. So we all don't get screwed because a certain few can't get their stuff in at a reasonable time. I'm sure people have good excuses. I know I've been stuck in a similar situation before where you try desperately to finish a match, and you just seem to be running out of time. But at least drop me a damn line. Tony took the time to tell me he wouldn't have the NNMX/Sk8ter Boiz match for tonight, which saved me the time of having to wait around for it. Tell me why your stuff is going to be late and when I could expect it. Don't leave me sitting here all night, waiting for a match that is never going to come. And you know what, when you don't meet up with the deadline, you fuck over everyone who has been waiting to read the show. Yeah, let's hope this doesn't happen again the next time I post a show. Because this is bullshit.

"Crikey, I made 4000 posts. At least 3900 of them were about the Saga though. It was the best time of my life, mate!"
  7. I wish this month was an Emperor of Death tournament, so I could post the results I have so far without worrying about making anything logical. But alas.
  8. What if I wrote up Hoff/Ryan Smith vs. Drek Stone/Damaramu instead?
  9. No Heavyweight Title match means no show getting posted yet. Though I can write up a quick Damaramu/Ryan Smith thingie that would fill the spot....

Wait, I don't get it. We're supposed to be happy to see Lillian crying uncontrollably in the center of the ring? Okay then.
  11. Guys, there's still a lot of stuff I haven't gotten yet. That's not good.

Really good Michaels/Angle match with a silly ending. Since when does Angle jump off the top rope with an axehandle?

    Slammiversary ME Spoiler

Raven didn't choose Hardcore Homecoming over One Night Stand. TNA just wouldn't let him compete on One Night Stand, so it was either Hardcore Homecoming or nothing.
  16. This opens the door for Shelton to jump to Smackdown -- where he would almost definitely be a better fit. Shelton/Eddie? Shelton/Rey? Shelton/Benoit? Shelton/RVD? He could do much nicer over there. All I really want to see from the draft at this point is Shelton and Shawn Michaels to Smackdown. Raw has gotten an impressive overhaul the past three weeks, while Smackdown still seems to have that same old feeling. Hopefully, that will change.
  17. The first HIAC hasn't aged badly at all. Especially if many are still considering it to be the overall best Hell-in-a-Cell match.

No sold it. JBL looked particularly bombed as he tried to pretend the HHH comment didn't bother him.

One and Only "ECW: One Night Stand" Thread

Paul Heyman is not looking to be employed by WWE anymore after this show. He wants to branch out into different fields -- maybe even offer competition to Vince. Van Dam still wants to be employed after One Night Stand. This is why Heyman was able to cut the scathing promo he did, and RVD's hands were still somewhat tied.

That RVD interview was fine. He could convey emotion and he can carry a promo. He showed he has enough mic skills to at least be given some mic time in WWE. The problem was -- with his reputation, Van Dam was given the heavy responsibility to make an offensive shoot interview. But let's be realistic. Considering who's sponsoring the PPV -- Vince McMahon, who is personally in the building right now -- he couldn't go too far. There's no way. He made allusions to it that everyone understood anyway, but there was no chance he could really go further than that on such a mainstream PPV. Not if he wanted to keep his job, anyway. Was it disappointing he didn't go further? Maybe. But he certainly showed he could hold his own on the stick.

What are they thinking by running this HHH/Batista vignette now? Horrible move.
