That will all come out when I finally write my shoot interview. And not to hype it all up or anything, but we're talking some really interesting stuff here. And Damaramu trashing. Everyone loves Damaramu trashing.

Hey, you. Patty. Yeah, you. Finish your damned feedback on Drek/Axel. Oh yeah, and nothing from Drek. Ever again. I'm retired, you know.

If you walk up to the register in a fast food place and ask if the fries -- or the coffee - are fresh, the answer will always be yes. The batch could have been made an hour ago. The answer will still be yes. Don't bother asking. People that work in a movie theater are strange. Very strange. Strange to the point where they slip off the side during their shift and decide to jackoff in the cleaning supplies room. The possibility of getting caught by a boss doesn't even scare these people off. And it's been said time and time again, but the importance of it cannot be stressed enough. Don't scream and yell at the register person until you finally have the food in your hand. Otherwise, you might be better off just walking out of the store with nothing.

Are you and Coffey brothers?
-
Yeah, yeah, whatever. Did you happen to see Coffey there?!?!

Well, off with Part II of the feedbacking. The New New Midnight Express vs. The Heavenly Rockers -- This served as an excellent blowoff to the feud these two teams have had over the past few months. First off, I actually started laughing in the library when I read the description of "That twinkle turns into a wrinkle when James E. sees a huffing and puffing Head of Security, Carl Winslow, charging towards him." Great visual. And don't think I didn't notice the passing comment of "Charles being in charge". Cute stuff. As for the match, like I said, just the perfect blowoff. Great action between the two teams with Cornete being held at bay in the steel cage. I liked how the match was more so about proving which team is genuinely better without simply going for the rackets and swinging away. It almost had an old-school feel to it. Tiffany fighting through the pain, even with his cast being broken off with the NNMX, was a good sidestory as well. And with the Saints and Holly getting their revenge on Cornette at the end, it was just the perfect conclusion. Nice job. Well, that certainly was a segment with the Nerdlys. Yeah.....not going to pretend like I really understood it. But, um, it was fine for what it was. Yep. Alfdogg vs. Sandman9000 -- The buildup at the beginning here was great. With Caboose getting more scared with each passing song, but Cole and Coach not knowing what it means, it built up nice anticipation for Sandman to make his return. Good twist at the beginning with Sandy trying to get the pinfall cleanly instead of going straight for the violence. Really good action here, with a storied history that definitely helped. I also liked all the mystery men coming out to interfere too. Using a ham as a weapon? Awesome. Shocking as it is, this match was all about making Alfdogg look strong. And it worked. Even with Sandman, Darring, and Jingus all working against him, he kept fighting back stronger than ever. But the ending was an awesome twist. I loved how everyone just suddenly turned on Sandman, tricking him the entire time. And the final Five Star Alf Splash was cool too. Great match. Definitely exceeded my expectations. With writing like that, I have no idea why Alf's title reign wasn't more over......no, really. Yeah. The Joy of X -- Excellent stuff. In my opinion, KC is one of the best -- if not THE best -- writers in the OAOAST. He could take any match, even one that didn't have much buildup to it like this one, and make it something special. And his commentary always seems to work too. I liked the rule change here, although I know it comes straight from the SWF. Ha, I can't be fooled. The action here was non-stop, and a perfect indicator of what the top superstars in the X Division, both past and present, can actually do. The near-fall sequence near the end was just insane and handled so, so well. From the wrestlers pulling each other out of the ring, to sequences like Superstar hitting the Star Power IMMEDIATELY followed by K-Money hitting Sliced Bread #3, to KC applying the Chick Magnet at the end....this is one of those sequences that would drive a real-life crowd crazy if it actually happened. In the end, this match managed to make Leon Rodez look like even MORE of a star. The Global Party Xchange vs. Chicks Over Dicks -- I couldn't even begin to go over all the great humor in this one. From the fan screaming comments to GPX in a "totally non-heterosexual way" to Krista being announced to the ring by Michael Buffer, so much of the humor here clicked. And that was only at the beginning of the match. Cool cameo from Lindsay Lohan too. The actual action in the contest here was very good, but that always seems to take a backseat in Patty's stuff anyway when compared to the in-match antics between the wrestlers and just the overall descriptions of what's going on. You just can't beat completely random comments like “GO BACK TO ATLANTA, PUSSY! YOU SUCK!” hollers a middle aged Asian man dressed as The Godfather. Surprised to see GPX playing the heels in this one, but considering the sneak attacks they've faced in the past month, it actually makes sense. And a shooting star press to the outside Latvian announcing table? Absolutely fucking insane. The high-flying stuff to finish the match just ended the entire thing perfectly. Very exciting tag match here that seriously put over Chicks Over Dicks as ACTUAL dangerous competitors -- rather than just simply gold on the mic. The 70s Dude vs. Calvin Szechstein -- Awesome hardcore match. This is definitely the best thing Frigid has ever written, and it shows that the 70s Dude is a serious force to be reckoned with in the OAOAST. The action here was INTENSE~! with a capital "~!". Like I told Frig before, I got an ECW vibe from this one.....and if you're going for a Texas Death match, that's a good thing. So many highlights here. Calvin jumping off the top rope into the crowd. Dude smashing Calvin's head in between the guardrail and a steel chair. Cal simply chucking the chair at Dude's head was good too, although it was obviously blatantly stolen from my match. And, of course, both men going through the barbed wire table covered with glass. I also liked the way the whole feud concluded, with Calvin's temper getting the best of him, opening the door for the Dude to show he might be the more strategic of the two. Not that Calvin needed it, but this match made him look like an even tougher competitor. But of course, the real story of this one was the Dude, in my opinion, becoming a bonafide major force in the OAOAST. This match did wonders to boost his credibility instantly. Excellent bloodbath. Cute promo backstage between Chicks over Dicks and Jim Cornette. It makes sense though -- I really couldn't see Snickers being polite enough to hump your leg after burning your house down. Cornette refusing to give Krista more than 5 bucks because Alix would only spend it on glue was funny....but true. NNMX attacking CoD from behind was good too. I can only imagine the upcoming interactions between Alix and Cornette in the next few weeks. Comedy gold before it's even written. And Simon stealing Alix's Snickers bar for himself? That bastard's going to pay.... I'll conclude this tomorrow because I'm tired and I'm going to bed. By my count, I have the Six Man match to do....and of course, my own match. But I'm not going to comment on my own match. That would just be silly. But others should do it. Right away. It's good, I promise.

....is that the poster Coffey or a different Coffey that I don't know of?
-
No. At least you're consistent.
-
What a horribly useless thread.
-
Funny. Wait, no it wasn't. Exactly. Trish was looked at as one of these fluffers in her first year with WWE. As was Molly -- under both Molly Holly AND Mighty Molly. It took them a while to break out of that shell, but they did it. Christy could very well do the same thing. To place her under this restriction so early in her career as a "fluffer" is beyond ridiculous.
-
You missed the point of this match. It was all about Trish disrespecting Christy for being in Playboy, and Christy wanting to get revenge for that disrespect. The Women's Title was secondary. It was only put on the line because Trish was holding it. We weren't supposed to take Christy as a serious competitor. This is why they designated Lita as her trainer. To at least give her some kind of credibility before the Mania match. But no, we were never supposed to think she was worthy enough to hold the Women's Title. We were just supposed to see if she would get her revenge on Trish. And I certainly hope you're not labeling her a career "fluffer". Because that would be silly, considering she only has a few months in pro wrestling under her belt. If we were talking about Stacy Keibler, I could understand. She has focused her entire career around being nothing more than eye candy and has basically proven that she has no desire to be taken seriously as a wrestler. However, Christy is an entirely different matter. She's only been in the business less than a year. There's no reason for her to be labeled a fluffer already. In the wrestling business, people get better as they gain more experience in the ring. Considering Christy had been used only as T & A since the diva search ended, only becoming an actual competitor within the past month, she has had no chance to gain this experience. Even in the recent weeks on Raw, they didn't even bother to try and put her in a one-on-one match. How does one gain experience if they're not even given the opportunity to wrestle? She is a rookie. Like most rookies, she is not going to be good in the ring within her first few months in the business. And like most first-year rookies, you should not be expected to wrestle in a title match at such a major Pay-Per-View like WrestleMania. It puts an unnecessary amount of pressure on you, considering you don't even really know what you're doing yet. Yet, that's exactly what Vince did. And I'm sure he realizes now how much of a mistake it was. Christy cannot be compared to either Stephanie or Trish. Trish already had a decent amount of experience in the ring at that point. And considering Stephanie has spent her entire life in the business, she obviously knows much more about it than Christy does. They both do. Now, with Christy, even if she did have her match memorized.....people get nervous! It happens! One of her first real matches ever is on the biggest Pay-Per-Views of the year -- and it's realistic to expect that she would be beyond nervous in the ring. Anxious to the point where she starts botching some normal spots. If she had a year of actual wrestling before this match, this situation might not have happened. But WWE was careless here, and this is what happened as a result. Christy isn't stupid for botching -- it just makes her a normal rookie. During the Diva Search, Christy was the only one that showed any excitement to get the fans on her side. This is why, by the end, she was the only one receiving a massively positive reaction. Whether it's in a segment like defending Eugene and kissing him, or confronting Trish for spraypainting her, Christy always tries to show emotion in her stuff. She consistently shows a real interest in what she does on the shows, which is more than you could say for the other ones from the Diva Search that are on WWE shows right now. Christy's a fine diva, and I think she's only going to get better from here. Sending her to OVW for a while might be a good idea though.

Start with the Drek/Axel match! Just cause. And Frigid, the Panther/PRL match was in a Steel Cage. The Axel/Crystal one was a regular match. For some reason, and I have no reason why at all, you've mixed the two up. Yeah.
-
She's not yet a wrestler. Christy should have never been put in the position of having her second match -- at least, I think it was her second match -- at such a high profile show like WrestleMania. That was an unfair spot for her, especially since she's just breaking into the business. But she definitely seems like she wants to learn and, unlike most of the divas they have on Smackdown right now, Christy seems like she has a real enthusiasm for the business. Wrestlers only get better as they get more experienced. Give Christy a little time, and I think she'll become a pretty decent woman's wrestler. Again, I feel bad for her. She should have never been put in that position last night. According to WrestlingObserver, Christy even apologized to Vince McMahon for her poor performance against Trish. He told her not to worry about it, but it's clear she feels guilty over what happened. It seems like she actually does care about the quality of her work.....which is more than you can say for more than a few people in WWE.

I could see how the card might be daunting for people to live detailed feedback but, considering all the effort every writer put into this show, they deserve to at least get some comments for their stuff. So let me try and start this off.... First off, excellent graphics from Papacita. Papa knows how much I look forward to his pictures every month. The banners ALWAYS seem to improve from the previous month, and in my opinion, this was no exception. I liked the classy glittering of the AngleMania emblem, and it really gave the rest of the event a nice touch. The Love Doctors vs. Hell's Hitmen -- This was a nice, short opener to kick off the preshow before AngleMania IV. The issue between the two teams hasn't been quite resolved yet, so that definitely opens up the door for another rematch between the two. Maybe at Living Anglelously. But like I said, decent stuff, with the Doctors trying to use their speed to their advantage but finding the Hitmen's sheer strength to be a tremendous obstacle. AWESOME VIDEO PACKAGE~!~! At least, I think it came out well. And my opinion is the only one that matters.... As always, I really liked the Schiavone/Ventura interaction at the beginning of the show. To hear them go over each match in detail like that lends each match an extra feeling of importance. It also adds an old-school aspect to the Pay-Per-Views which is always appreciated. And sure, the "Who" stuff was lame, but it was lame in that old-school way. The comments from Watts at the end were a nice touch as well, to really put over the fact that Drek Stone, Hoff, and Axel are basically the future of the company. Drek Stone vs. Hoff -- I already gave Hoff my thoughts on this match last night, so I'll give the quick rundown here. I REALLY enjoyed it. In my opinion, it was better than the match at Zero Hour. To me, that one seemed a little too long-winded for what we were going for. But this one was more streamlined and seemingly more action-packed -- which, to me, simply made it better overall. Some good psychology here, like with Hoff trying to use what worked last month and give Drek the H-Bomb on the arena floor. The flow of it worked for me too, starting off with the feeling-out process at the beginning with the exciting near falls at the end. The finish worked for me too, with both men willing to cheat and use the exposed steel, simply to advance to the Main Event of the night. Great stuff to kick off the show. Possibly the best Pay-Per-View opening ever. Axel vs. Crystal -- Total intensity here between Axel and Crystal throughout the entire thing, which was great to see. Axel finally looked like a man here, after being pitifully controlled by Crystal the entire month. He was releasing weeks of frustration against her, and that rage really did show. It was also good to see Crystal use her intelligence to her advantage. With both focusing upon the knee, and having Gunner take the most opportune times to cheat on her behalf. Crystal using the Axel Grinder was pretty cool too. There was some nice stuff near the end too, including Axel busting out the Frog Splash on Crystal for a two count, followed by Crystal getting the Diamond in the Rough for the two count again. The reversal sequence to the Crystalling was very nicely handled. The Female Phenom taunting and slapping Axel near the end was a great touch, and it made seeing Axel get the clean win a few seconds later only that much sweeter. Once again, another excellent match near the start of AngleMania. It definitely set the stage nicely for the Main Event. Tha Puerto Rican vs. Panther -- Entertaining steel cage match, though it really DOES need an ending. I figure the post length just cut off the conclusion, but it leaves a bad taste in your mouth to read through the thing and not know how it ends. Liked the touch at the beginning with Panther climbing up the cage. I really liked the start of the match. Instead of going for the normal feeling-out process, they just went straight for their finishing moves. It gave the contest some kind of urgency, since these two men are just so desperate to beat the other. Like the other matches before it, this match had an intensity that just wouldn't quit. These men have had a deep rivalry for two months, and their hatred for each other definitely showed. The stuff with Tina and Popick on the outside was entertaining too. The stuff right near the end were some great highspots, including the russian leg sweep off the top rope and the spinebuster onto the chair. The only problem is: If the message board system is cutting off your posts because the match is too long, you really do need to cut your match down then. MST3K, your stuff would benefit so much if you would just streamline it a little. But I definitely enjoyed what was here, and I hope to see the ending soon. Prince Killings vs. Brock Ausstin -- Good enough match. It was a nice contrast to the three beginning matches of the PPV, in which it wasn't nearly as intense or action-packed as they were. Like I told Chuck earlier, I actually liked the twist of Killings being untalented in the ring. For all the hype of him being a huge movie star, it turns out that he doesn't know the first thing about wrestling besides being able to slap on a mean chinlock. Brock knew this, which is why it made so much sense for him to dominate Prince with his strength for the majority of the match. And Prince, knowing cheating in the ring is probably his best attribute, responded accordingly by using a camera to get the win. Which was creative, I might add. Not like Carl Winslow in the SWF, which is a BLATANT use of storyline stealing! I sure hope something is done about that.....right. Yeah. Anyway, with this latest wrestling development, I'm actually looking forward to seeing where this Killings character goes. And with that, I'm off to class. More feedback later. And I hope to see more feedback from everyone else too.

Happy Birthday CWM. It's a damn shame Zack couldn't give you the win last night for your birthday...
-
Awesome, awesome show. I'm probably going to have some time to kill in between classes tomorrow, so I'll try to put some detailed feedback there. But congratulations goes out to Adam for finally winning the Heavyweight Title. And what an awesome match that was written for it -- whoever the hell did it, anyway. There's no doubt this is going to be the PPV to beat in 2005. And I'll be around....sometime.

As far as I know, everything is in now. Just need Tony to post it.

The last time I tried doing it, I just wound up saying to myself "This is fucking pointless" and quitting in the middle. You really need to have a lot of time on your hands to do that on a consistent basis.

Under these guidelines, I only have the Kurt Angle Desire video and the WWE Desire video with the entire roster set to "My Sacrifice" Just say the word.

WHAT?! I can't BELIEVE there are still people that haven't started writing their match yet ...... *whistles innocently*
-
There's no way Hoff could beat Alfdogg. Now let's get someone with actual predictions.....
-
Theoretically, I could be open to posting the shows. ....talking theoretically, of course.....
