I heard about this on the TeamXbox boards. I remember them saying since boiling it warps the disc, it fixes any mistakes that might have occured during manufacturing.

I tried to restore it but that didnt work so I guess it might have been a hardware error. But I took it to a computer shop yesterday so it should be ready today he said. Thanks for the help.

OK, so Christmas Eve was here and I was on my computer listening to music. Then my computer restarted out of no where. So I go, OK, maybe something went wrong. Oh yes, something did. The computer restarted, went to the Windows XP screen, restarted again so I just turned it off. I turned it back on 5 minutes later and it was working fine....for a minute or two then it restarted again. So I just left it alone. Later that night, like 11 or so, I turned it back on and it worked fine for about 5 minutes, then it restarted AGAIN. So I just turned it off. Christmas came and I turned it on, brushed my teeth and went downstairs. Then I heard a faint beep, the sound of my computer starting up, meaning it had restarted. I had enough. Reformatting was my last option cause I have ALOT of important stuff on there. I cant find my Windows XP disc and I needed it because it said a file was corrupt or missing and I needed to repair the system. So I used my brothers computer and downloaded XP SP1 and tried to install that. What I did was try to install the new OS over XP, but that didnt work. It said something was missing there too, which I find strange since I downloaded a group ISO from IRC and not something from Kazaa or Ares. So now I cant load the OS because it gives me some garbled text on a black screen and for some reason the disc wont load either. It says "Searching for boot record from CDROM....OK" "Hit any button to load..." I hit something and the screen goes black and sits there. What do I do? The computer Im on now is ancient and I have a bunch of stuff on that computer that I need for the upcoming week. I know there is a program that would allow me to recover files if I delete them, but would that work if I were to reformat that other computer? I dont want to do that so dont recommend it unless its your last resort. Thanks to anyone who can help.

No count down, but I dont think its the power supply cause it told me I had a corrupt system file before I tried fixing it. And its restarting, not cutting off.

Everyone has one. What are some of the things you have seen on tv or in a movie that the world has LOLed at but you sit and go "WTF?". For me it has to be the Rick James skit on Chappelle's Show. Its a little funny but everyone thought/thinks its just drop dead hilarious. To me the Prince skit was funnier.

Caleb didnt want to tell. Sandy let it slip and Ryan and Seth figured it out. DJ and Zack left to spend Christmas in another city with family so Summer and Marissa went to the Cohens. Ryan invited Lindsey. When she was dropped off her mom came in and was going to tell Kirsten. Caleb came in the room and was going to tell Kirsten. The kids come into the house from the pool house. Marissa's mom and dad come in the kitchen too (I forget the names, Jimmy and something). Kirsten and Lindsey find out they are sister and Kirsten slaps Caleb. Marissa's mom slaps him too. Caleb trys to talk to Kirsten but she throws a vase at him and locks herself in a closet. Seth asks him to leave. Christmakkuh is over but Summer saves it. Ryan tries to talk to Lindsey but she says she doesnt want to see him or his family ever again. Ryan convinces Kirsten to come out of the closet and welcome her sister into the family. Thats pretty much it. I think they are taking a 2 week break cause they said "In January 12 straight episodes of the OC. The colder it gets the hotter it gets on the OC." The previews were "electric". Ryan and Caleb get into it, Marissa "turns", and some other stuff, dont remember, those just stood out. Oh, Seth and Summer get a little intimate and Jimmy and his ex-wife try to get back together and he tells Kirsten that he loves her and she says "You dont love Julie" (TAHTS HER FUCKING NAME).

I think Leno is funny too. Sometimes. But most of the time he is funny as hell.

I was watching his Showtime special just now and thinking will one day people call him one of the greats or a legend? Granted there are some bandwagon fans now and once his steam dies down they will leave, but, he isnt in it for the money (as proven by declining the host spot for the MTV awards) and he is pretty damn funny. He has always been funny and something makes him stand out from other "competing" black comics like DL Hughley, Cedric, Bernie Mac, Steve Harvey, Chris Rock, Jamie Foxx and Eddie Murphy. But do you think one day people will put him in the same list as Red Foxx and Richard Pryor?

I remember Nutty Professor and Undercover Brother made me a fan but I didnt know him by name till I caught his first stand up on HBO. My friends were talking about how Dave Chappelle is funny and I thought they meant Dave Attell, who is NOT funny by any means.

You know, its kinda weird. The older you are, the less teachers seem to care. If a 1st grade has a fountain pen or those scissors they get the book throw at them, but if a 11th grader has the same thing, nothing happens.

I doubt it, Chappelle doesnt look like a family guy. My teacher told us Murphy used to be a class clown but got away with it because he was always a good guy and smart. I dont know if its true or not, but.....Chappelle doesnt really fit that description to me. And alot of his fans are in the 16-30 year old range and if he was to do a movie with Raven-Symone and the Mowry twins he would piss them off to no end. And I knew Jadakiss didnt make up that line cause I had heard it before, but I didnt know who said it.

But Rock isnt that funny to me. I was watching his Never Scared and he might have gotten a chuckle, but he just isnt funny.

I went to the New Year Evil Nitro. It was when Steiner faked his retirement. I fell for it cause I was there. But on TV it looked so gay. They had like a big black sheet covering the other side of the arena. I think we were in the Compaq Center.
