Damn. I remember a drag racer of the same name who was killed in crash last year. That's fucking eerie.

"I wanna get on my knees and start pleasin' Jesus; I wanna feel his salvation all over my face!" Always a classic.

I hope I'm not the only person who remembers him beatboxing for John Cena...

Great spots from Wrestling Video Games
J.B. Buzzkill replied to Rob E Dangerously's topic in Video Games
A fave of mine from SD! vs. RAW: Me (Tajiri) and my cousin (I believe he was Batista) were playing a 4 way HIAC with Edge and Rhyno. We all started out with specials, and during the match, I got in a sucker punch on Edge, momentarily stunning him, and allowing Rhyno (out of camera view) to come in and Gore THE FUCK out of him. Me and my cousin went apeshit over seeing that. -
The ending is freaking GREAT, though, so at least see that.

Am I the only one who thought Big Show's "Alleyoop" was dumb as hell?

Yep, Heatwave 2000. EDIT: Right as I was posting the answer. -
Shane Douglas planning ECW Reunion show

IIRC, Barely Legal was the only ECW Arena PPV. The other PPV's moved around a bit, though. -
There's pretty much mixed opinion around the 'Net on this, but I haven't had a problem with him in the 2 years I've been ordering off of him. He's based out of Canada, though, so if you're not from there, you may have to wait some. I'd recommend him, personally.

I dunno, but Ultimo's look is priceless. And this...
-
Was that really necessary? EDIT: Got beaten bigtime to that.
-
He can still go, but he dogs it a lot, though.
-
Those are horrible. They're not shown a whole lot, so I can tolerate them. Jamster, on the other hand...
-
Somehow I get the feeling that they'll royally screw this up like they did the Osaka Dome show.
-
Jamal wrestle's in All Japan......and no he still sucks. And worse, he's actually pretty damn over in AJPW.
-
OK, what is this? I'm doing a 3 way cage match in season mode, and about 8 minutes in, both of my opponents are incapacitated, and when I climb and get to the top, and my wrestler does this STUPID stumble/tapdance thingy on top of the cage for about 10 seconds, which leads to me getting knocked off. I still eventually won, but WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT??? Put me on the bandwagon of those who regret buying this game.

My biggest gripe is the stupid and RIDICULOUSLY repetitive AI. You fight a dirty wrestler, and even if you're still standing or whatnot, they'll go and remove every turnbuckle padding. You could be coming at them with an AK-47 and they'd still turn around and go for the padding. As far as repetitiveness, the computer does THE SAME MOVES the entire match. You fight Hardcore Holly, and all he'll do are stomps and his hammerlock slam. Fucking ridiculous.

Well, Z1 is officially fucked.
-
You're a good person.

Whew, thank God this is old. I was about to go "AGAIN???"

Is the brand split to blame? I don't think so. They nearly killed off the tag division right off the bat however by splitting up teams and the like. But that's beating a dead horse, so I'll move on. I do agree with you on the point of the titles having lost their prestige. I attribute this to 2 things (namely focusing on the world titles): 1) A champion usually dealing with only 1 guy or 2 guys each month or so is kinda weak to me. This may sound kinda dumb, but I just think having more guys gunning for a champion at any given time makes the belt look more important since EVERYONE wants to be a champion. 2) The championships losing importance due to "other issues" during a title feud. Sometimes this works (Flair/Savage in '92), but most of the time I don't really care for them. I mean, we had HHH falsely accusing Kane of murder and rape, and JBL getting a WWE title shot by kicking Mexicans out of the country. I might be sounding too old fashioned, but I think a feud TO BE A CHAMPION should be good enough. Sermon over.

Dunno about that. He was quite the darling in 2000. But if he suddenly had a meeting with Jesus and began putting more effort into getting others over, I'd praise him.
