Who says their stuff in NY wasn't successful? That's how you make it sound... Well was it? I'm not sure on the second show but I remember hearing the first show had poor attendance and they must have lost alot of money on it.

Well, Rising Son ain't what he used to be.. but that still should be an awesome match. Hope Florida works out better for LXW then NY did.

Good news for those who don't want the all the movies in the box set... They are releasing the new special editions separately on Jan. 6th. each in 2 disc sets (I think just the 9th disc is exclusive to the box set)

I really dig them, but it really depends on the movie and how interested I am in that movie. As for the style... I don't really care if it's a Funny cast commentary, MST3K style commentary, Bland director's serious tech. commentary or a film historian reading off facts/stories if it gives me more insight into something I already enjoy.. it's cool with me.

From the looks of it, I think most everyone (except The ROH Bookers and maybe Hero himself) want to see that.

That is very cool to hear. MLW is really shaping up now that they ditched the whole "ECW Rip Off" thing and went with the "ROH Rip off" thing. Great roster of talent... Here's hoping they bring back Super Dragon and B-Boy in 2004.

Reading between the lines of what? How do you read between the lines of anything and derive that someone has a drug problem? Don't you find that out by, like, reading it somewhere or being told it, rather than "reading between the lines"? Anotherwards, shouldn't something like that be straightforward, as opposed to having to be read between the lines? Excuse me! LOL Actually in a few SoCalUncensored.com posts, one said Damian Steele wasn't doing well and in another one Webb said "a Friend" who was in UPW had devolped a drug problem trying to get the "WWF Look" and it ruined his life. READING BETWEEN THE LINES... it would have to be Steele.

Based on my reading between the lines.. I think he currently has a drug problem. That has kept him away from wrestling. Shame though, While not a great in-ring talent.. the guy was a hell of character.

They always make these LOW games sound so great.. then you buy them and they turn out just like all of Acclaim's other games. I think I'll just be renting this one...

Good to hear, I like Gage. But if they are booking CZW regs. why the hell haven't they booked B-Boy yet?

I don't think Sabian meant everything by it but Jacobs has every right to be pissed at him. If anyone else who in his shoes they would feel the same way. But of course this is between him and Sabian and I hope they can clear things between each other.

I'm not particularly bashing the promotion itself. I'm just questioning if a TV show would work... you know ratings wise and who exactly would watch it. I'll probably watch it.. but will anyone else? Drawing a few thousand fans to a live event doesn't automatically mean the show will get a large enough TV audience. Wrestling fans may not think it's "wrestling" enough for them and it may be too "wrestling" for comedy fans' taste. I guess we will see in time...

While this may not be the case here... but some cell phones have the ablity to record video clips. Which could be how it was done.

After seeing that video... I don't think it will last. To quote a famous wise man (Mr. Miyagi from Karate Kid part one) "Man walk on road. Walk left side, safe. Walk right side, safe. You karate do "guess so," [makes squish gesture] " Meaning Lucha Va Voom can't decide what it wants to be, Wrestling or wacky comedy stage show. So who will it appeal too? it won't appeal to pure wrestling fans or all fans of comedy in general... so honestly who will keep watching it? Using that logic, I don't think it'll last very long on Comedy Central (a channel I haven't watch since they canceled MST3K) sorta like the old WOW fed or The XFL, They didn't appeal to either side of their potential fanbase thus no one cared and they died... I can see the same thing happening to this fed.

Yes, I remember him "shooting" on SMW in ECW. Something about Cornette being a rasict... Ahhh...shit...not good for the black OVW guys. Orlando Jordan must've been lucky. Please...Jack really has to realize he's doing nobody - including himself - any good by shooting so often. It gets to the point where it's not shooting anymore - it's just simple bitching, and nobody hates bitching more than wrestling fans. Tell that to Shane Douglas.

Storm will do just fine if paired against teams like The AXP, Zorke and Phoenix Star, X-Foundation. M-Dogg/Jardi, Havana Pitbulls or Disco/Rising Son. Be interesting to how he and Excalibur blend as a team. I'm thinking they will do very well. And yeah alot of teams make no sense... but heck did SD/B-Boy as a team make sense? and they produced some awesome matches. I'm sure these All Star throw together teams will do just the same.
