For more information, please visit http://www.prowrestlingguerrilla.com or email [email protected] " Sounds like another awesome show top to bottom. Ok, I learned from those Jon Barber threads that posters shouldn't just shill but give insight and opinions... so here are my PWG Thoughts and Prediction:: The Ballard Brothers (Shane, Shannon & Topgun Ballard) vs. Chris Bosh, Lil' Cholo, and Pinoy Boy Thoughts and Prediction: Should be a fun opening match, can't really predict a winner in these. • Jardi Frantz vs. MDogg 20 Thoughts and Prediction: Could be a great match if M-Dogg is on his game. I predict M-Dogg will win. X-Foundation (Funky Billy Kim & Scott Lost) vs. Team Chismo (Disco Machine & Excalibur) Thoughts and Prediction: The X-Foundation-Chismo feud continues. Should be a good match with The X-Foundation getting the win • Hardkore Kidd vs. Samoa Joe Thoughts and Prediction: Know each other well from UPW and now they both work for Zero One in Japan so it should be a very brutal match with alot of stiffness. Bet on Samoa Joe to win. • Guerrilla Warfare Match: Joey Ryan vs. Super Dragon Thoughts and Prediction: The first 2 SD-Joey matches are great I think this one will be no different and be the MOTN and maybe a MOTYC. Be interesting to see what these 2 techincal wrestler do in a Falls Count Anywhere match. Prediction: Super Dragon • Adam Pearce vs. Colt Cabana Thoughts and Prediction: First time ever match between these 2 Gold Bond Mafia members. No doubt it'll be a good match. Pearce is on a roll in PWG so he'll win this one • PWG Championship Match: "The Future" Frankie Kazarian © vs. American Dragon Thoughts and Prediction: This one speaks for itself, should be great. Prediction: Frankie Kazarian. He won't be losing the belt so soon. So there you go, should be an outstanding show. So attend it if you live in the area and buy the shows on DVD from PWG's site or the VHS from SMV. PWG's next show will be Dec. 13 with Colt Cabana already signed to appear.. and it's been rumored that PWG is attempting to bring out Homicide for a future show. So stay tuned for news on that. Also fans of PWG should check out Revolution Pro's 4 Anniversary show which will feature Super Dragon Vs. TARO - MASK Vs. MASK, the long awaited Scorpio Sky Vs. Rising Son grudge match and Mexico's Most Wanted in action and PCW's Next show which will feature CZW's Messiah in a Death Match, SD Vs. Mike Vega and the wrestling return of XPW's Johnny Webb.

PWG "An Inch Longer than Avarage" this weekend!
PsychoDriver replied to PsychoDriver's topic in General Wrestling
I actually like Frankie Kazarian, I don't watch TNA regularly so I can't judge him on that but everything else I've seen him do has been very good. And the answer to why he has the belt is pretty clear. He's a Nationally known Indy wrestler, that is also local and can make all the shows. What good is a champion who can't make all the shows? Also I don't think Super Dragon wanted to put the belt on himself so soon. But I wouldn't be surprised to see Adam Pearce get the belt soon. -
Yeah but that would make the match 6 on 5. So at least one of those guys won't be in the match.
-
I haven't watched my tape of the match yet... but why on earth would they cut down a 6 minute match? Damn, WWE takes the fun out of everything.

Terminator 3 WWE: Bloodbath Married with... Children Season 1 Looney Toons Box Set Christmas Story Special Edition
-
Is that for real? because he's crazy if he think's he'll get more than 50 bucks tops for those.
-
I hope I'm wrong but: Vince/Taker: * HHH/Goldberg: *1/2 Team Austin/Team Bischoff: *** Team Angle/Team Lesnar: ** (that's too much crap for Benoit/Angle to carry) Tajiri/Noble:**1/2 (it'll be a rushed though) Kane/Shane: * (Like everyother Shane match) Lita/Mollyz: ** Bashams/Guerreros: **

Damn, Alot of DVDs to buy this week: LOTR Space Ghost Coast to Coast: Volume 1 Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Volume 1 Ric Flair DVD and yes the wife from King of Queens rules, I like the show but not enough to get me to buy the DVD.

PWG "An Inch Longer than Avarage" this weekend!
PsychoDriver replied to PsychoDriver's topic in General Wrestling
Well... both kinda But it wasn't just tons of high spots but a very well done brutal hardcore grudge match with psychology, pacing and a ton of crowd heat. Sorta like the London-Shane Street Fight from ROH only ALOT better. I'd have to say it's my favorite match of the year so far. Def. check this one out on DVD/VHS (though I'm not sure if it'll will have the same magic it did live) -
Looks like it was a good show, Good to see CZW and Kashmere have patched things up. Also COD5 looks pretty good on paper, and I'm sure it'll turn out even better.
-
Actually I had no intention to even post a response in this thread, until I saw your statement. No need for dumb assumptions. Wasn't really that dumb. You always seem to defend XPW every chance you get. that's your gimmick right?

Here's the results from the show: from SoCalUncensored: PWG Westside Jewish Center Los Angeles, CA Attendance: 155 Topgun Talwar & Ballard Bros. over Lil' Cholo, Chris Bosh, & TJ Perkins (Pinoy Boy) [11'57] M-Dogg over Jardi Frantz [10'57] Funky Billy Kim & Scott Lost over Disco Machine & Excalibur [11'07] Super Dragon over Joey Ryan [31'46] Adam Pearce over Colt Cabana [13'26] Samoa Joe over CM Punk [12'22] Frankie Kazarian over American Dragon to retain the PWG Title [22'32] Great show, SD Vs. Frankie/CM Punk/Joey Ryan Excalibur Vs. Chris Bosh - Hair Vs. Hair Plus the Havana Pitbulls, M-Dogg, Josh Pro and the rest of the PWG regulars Buy the DVD when it's released, you won't be dissapointed. -
Yeah, for XPW the shows before Exit Sandman (Fall Out, Hostile Takeover, BIB3, LOD) were some of the best XPW shows ever. All the shows after ES looked pretty good as well. I'm sure Barber will give everyone a rant on this once he sees this topic... and won't that be fun?
-
Oh yeah, Spanky/London Vs. American Dragon/John Walters is on tonight's show. Gotta set my VCR for that one.
-
No, Exit Sandman was the worst show XPW has done in a long time. It broke a streak of very good XPW shows at that point.

Second Coming of Andre? WCW billed him as Andre's son coming at Hogan for revenge for awhile.
-
I think Goldberg, "Because he didn't job well enough to HHH, HOW DARE HE NOT MAKE HHH LOOK GOOD IN THE RING!!" Actually, I think they will blame it on the lack of Stephanie McMahon on the card. Who wants to see a PPV with only 2 McMahons on it? I know I don't. It's not a mega event if it doesn't have at least 3 McMahons on it.
-
Gowen isn't really credible at all in the ring. Who would believe a little one legged kid could beat anyone clean? That among other things (attitude, lack of charisma ETC) is really hurting him. While Andre was different. A big huge brick wall of a man that you didn't think anyone could actually beat in a match and the fans actually cared him. Andre is still looked apon in a positive light, while Gowen will be #7 or something on a "Worst WWE Mistakes ever" list in a few years

The Shining Halloween

Wow, that is truly insane. No one still living's autograph should be worth that much. I remember getting Frank Thomas' autograph back in 1992 (when he was VERY popular) for $15. Which I thought was alot back then.. but how times have changed. Greed is horrible thing.

Justin Credible stripped of 3PW title...
PsychoDriver replied to LucharesuFan619's topic in General Wrestling
I'm still going with Douglas. He's a mark for the ECW Arena, World championships and 3-way dances involving Sabu. -
HCTP did the same thing to me (and alot of other people) and my PS2 is dead now. Only thing I can recommend is exchange HCTP and hope you get a better one. Also get your PS2 fixed or upgrade to a newer model (I'm hearing about these model 50000's that sound awesome)

My picks.

I think Stallone should give the guy something. Why? because it's the right thing to do. What is a few thousand or so to him? one less ivory backscratcher? But I don't think Chuck can win the case though. Stallone should just settle. It'll shut the guy up and make Sly look like a good guy in the process.

The One and Only Smackdown! HCTP Thread
PsychoDriver replied to Insane Bump Machine's topic in Video Games
I found this... which is probably the reason why some copies of HCTP are making the noises: "The "grinding problem" is caused by too much ink being used in the printing of the non-readable side of the disc (over-enthusiastic disc-printer) or, more specifically, too much being used in some areas. This can cause an imbalance, making the disc tilt ever-so-slightly (you wouldn't notice it, but by golly, your PS2 does), occasionally bringing the surface of the disc into contact with the laser (very bad thing ), which causes the grinding noise and, if prolonged, will leave thick, curved marks in the surface of the disc. If you've got the "grinding problem", take your disc back to the retailer and tell them the above and ask for as many replacements as it takes to get one that doesn't do it. If your disc already has the marks in the surface, then ring Sony customer services & they'll give the address to send it to for examination and replacement. Only do this if you genuinely have the marks, not if you've spilt coffee on it or if you've scratched it any other way because they'll take one look at it (which takes at least a month anyway) and tell you to **** off. They've seen enough of these to spot someone trying it on. This is not a PAL or NTSC problem, it's simply to do with ink and certainly isn't specific to this game." So it was the disc. Bad thing is my disc is marked up from the laser I guess. And that asshole at EB wouldn't exchange it. Guess I'll just have to take the loss and buy a new copy...
