Games rarely actually live up to the hype. Not the actually the games fault, people just over hype them. Like GTA:VC was a good game but it didn't live up to the insane hype it got. Well, SD:SYM was alot better than I thought it would be. This one looks tons better than SYM... so I'll say HCTP will come very close to matching to living up to the hype.

Really they canceled that event? Bad sign... well at least they didn't pull an EPIC and actually let people know before hand... so much for that bus trip eh?

Agree, a let down indeed. Also, I wonder why no one has used both rings in a normal match. could probably do some cool spots with it.

It's supposed to ship on the 27th... which means some stores that get it will sell it early (EB and Game Stop do this I think). But 28th is the official release date when most stores will def. have it in stock and ready to sell. Should be everywhere on the 29th though. I can't wait, I seriously can't stand waiting for games to be released. Watching the online moves and hearing vague facts and rumors. Wish it just come out already and end this madness.

Here's a reversal people should be complaining about.. In The IGN "Big Man, Little Man" Ultimo Vs. Kane video. Kane reverses a Powerbomb with a Samurai DDT. I sure hope they fix that...

I wouldn't say so, Only time Rey tossed the Big Show (at least in the videos I've seen) was with a snap mare which is a leverage move that uses Big Show's own momentum rather than Rey's power. So you'd probably also see Rey maybe Hip Toss, Rana, Arm Drag or Irish Whip him but not never actually lift him up. It's not totally accurate but at least sorta believable, I think No Mercy's Weight system worked pretty much the same way.

Ah yes, I truly regret having to miss this show (I had other plans and also Newhall CA is such a pain in the ass to get to) APW-LA is a fantastic fed that doesn't get the press it deserves. Right up with PWG in terms of show quality. Seems like a good show though, Grimes-Dragon sounded awesome. I'm def. going to buy this tape... hope SMV gets these shows in stock soon.

I just don't believe this, as a long time GNR fan I've seen tons of release dates for a new album (Early 95, Summer 96, Fall 97, Mid 99, Summer 2001, Fall 2002 Etc.) I really thought that when they started playing gigs again the new album would come out shortly thereafter. But that was already what 2 and 3/4 years ago? At least point I don't honestly think I'll ever see this album released.. and that's a damn shame because all the new material I've heard on bootlegs and such has all been excellent.

The guy left a voice mail with Steve Bartman saying what he was going to do, and Bartman called him back and provided him with personal info so he could get through ESPN's screeners. Hey, at least Steve got some retribution. Oh I see... thought they just let some guy on without any sort of check.
