I know they said Blake loved it there and the management loved him. Right after he got traded in that Milwaukee deal, he was still working out in the Blazers facility for a while. You are right though, many other teams would have used him as a starter. I could see them giving him the nod over Jack maybe... but just because he liked it there isn't good enough. A lot of other teams would've used him better. According to HoopsHype, Oregon's paper is reporting that Jack is considered on the block since the signing of Blake. He is expected to be traded before training camp, maybe in a package with Przybilla. Also, Jason Hart signed a multi-year deal with Utah, terms not disclosed. Joe Smith looks like going to Chicago to take PJ Brown's role for the mid-level exception. Mo Williams re-ups with the Bucks, 6 years, $52 mil. DeShawn Stevenson is close to 4 years, $15 million from Washington And Ron Artest and Steven Jackson have been handed 7 game suspensions for conduct off the court.

Schenscher is gone. He is on the Timberwolves Summer League squad. I think Fernandez is staying overseas, at least for now, as he wasn't on the summer league roster. I would expect McRoberts and Taurean Green to make the squad, but being second round picks they could either a) not even get a contract or b) be stashed over in Europe for a season or two til a roster spot opens as the Knicks are planning on doing with Demetris Nichols.

Favorite commentary track(s)
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Gary Floyd's topic in Television & Film
I don't get around to watching many of the commentaries, but I do always enjoy the "Mini-Commentaries" on the South Park season sets. The main ones I've heard good stuff on were I heard, as mentioned Cannibal the Musical and another commentary I've had people tell me was good was the commentary for "The Rules of Attraction" which for some reason features Carrot Top as one of the people doing commentary. -

WWE General Discussion for July 2007
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
No, that's cool. I wasn't sure where it should go. The pic was of Benoit and the story came about because of him, but the article was moreso about deaths in wrestling, so I thought it may be better suited in this thread. My mistake. -

Super Hero Clash of The Titans Round 1
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Steviekick's topic in Literature
I didn't know this was a who is supposed to win thread... in which case we will get the same boring result all of these bring on. I was voting based on character preference. Of course I know in a fight, those two would lose, but I rather shake things up with the votes I made. I don't think Cyclops would beat Captain America, I just have a preference of Cyclops over Captain America. If you look I also took the Ray over Superman... that is worse than any other choice in this thread, I'm pretty sure. -

OAO ECW on Sci Fi thread - 06/26/07
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Downhome's topic in The WWE Folder
Well, although I don't think they will throw him in the main event, Boogeyman is a face too. I don't remember where Nunzio or Stevie lie right now, I think they are both utility tweeners and not in position to be pushed up, but it at least evens sides a little until another face is moved over. -
Thanks for the info. What are the regular dvd extras? I saw ONS on PPV, so I didn't rent it, I figured I'd just get it when it comes out this week. They actually listed the exclusive extras on the back of the box this time though. Strange thing is, Judgment Day actually is renting pretty well and because of me, the copy we get for sale sells out the first day it is out for the PPVs, but ONS we only got 1 rental copy and no sale copies. We may still get a sale copy, but the computer says it is not on order. Also, Vengenace is not listed properly in the computer, so it won't be until the week before its release (released on 7/24), that I will know if it will be there. The Bash is already listed in the computer, two disc set and all.

Blockbuster's Exclusive content for One Night Stand is the Cena/Lashley vs. Shane/Umaga/Khali Handicap Match from RAW and the Boogeyman/Little Boogeyman vs. Finlay/Hornswoggle from Saturday's Night Main Event.
-
I was shocked/surprised with the Nitro win, but still not so much. Despite the Champion of Champions stuff and the uber-Lashley push, the title still feels more like a midcard title.

WWE General Discussion for June 2007

Yeah, that was the discrepancy because the match listing on the Vengeance website said should another champion move over in the Supplemental Draft, they would be added. -

There are rumors Vince McMahon will get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame next year. It's a shame he won't be around to see it... -
I like this one This one is not quite as fair to make due to rookie contracts, but still fun.

Gotta love Anthony Andersen in that picture... So, who else thinks the rumored Garnett to the Celtics trade is ridiculous? Garnett for Gerald Green, Al Jefferson, Sebastian Telfair, Theo Ratliff and the 5th pick. Jefferson and Green have too much upside to dump already, let alone together with Telfair, the crazy Ratliff contract and the 5th pick in a loaded draft. I rather take my chances dealing a lesser portion of this deal for a lesser veteran. I don't think Garnett joining the Celtics, who are giving up all those pieces, would be enough to make the team a contendor. They'd probably be a 6-8 seed still. I think any team going for Garnett needs to be a team in the position to win right now, because I think he only has so many "dominant" years left. EDIT: Just saw this was already being discussed in the Kobe thread, sorry.

As soon as I saw Joe was in the X-Division match, I knew he was going to win for that main event to make sense. I am pissed they already took the title off Lethal though for that angle. -

I didn't see Umaga/Santino earlier. I don't know what the logic is on that one, other than Masters went to Smackdown. Umaga should crush Marella this time and that just makes the very little he's done so far worthless, but at the same time, Umaga can't afford another loss to "the fan". I don't see a good outcome on this at all. -

WWE.com has added Cade & Murdoch vs. Hardys and Melina vs. Candice to Vengeance, but still nothing on the rumored match for the vacant ECW title. Also, as of now, no Sandman in the Main Event. Although I doubt he will be added, he has as much right to be there as Lashley does... -
Did anyone else get the "WARNING: The following program may be considered offensive as it deals with the death of Vince McMahon" before the show? Also, I wonder who decided what the tributes were going to be. I think they made them fairly joking, although I wondered about Teddy Long comparing Vince to Martin Luther King.
