It's funny you metion that because I did think the same thing. Early on, I joked they were going to make out to the girl I was with and further scenes just furthered the thought.

Best movie of 2007 so far?
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Ravenbomb's topic in Television & Film
And I'll see you in hell Not that it was a classic, but Kickin it Old School had a lot more genuinely funny moments then I expected. Another movie that surprised me at how much I enjoyed, which I don't recall seeing mentioned yet was Shooter. -
I like better

It is said the ECW title match to be announced is . I don't remember the source, but I saw it a few places this week.

The Twolves-Rockets deal is done and there is now the second trade of the NBA offseason. The Pistons just traded Carlos Delfino to Toronto for a 2009 2nd Round Draft Pick and a 2010 2nd Round Draft pick.

WWE General Discussion for June 2007
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
The other thing to note as of right now is it is still possible someone else may be added. If you look at WWE's website for the Vengeance match listings, it mentions that if someone else is moved over in the Supplemental Draft, they will be added to the match. I really doubt we get someone new, but there is a possibility. -
Blockbuster sells it brand new for 19.99, however depending on how many copies your store has, in a few weeks it could be Pre-Viewed for $14.99 or 2 for $20.

I worked at Blockbuster for a long time during high school and beyond. They needed some help at my old store like a year back, so I go in and work one day a week there. It still lets me get the free rentals and the discount. The free rentals include renting the stuff before it comes. Our rental copies of Judgment Day showed up yesterday, so after I picked it up, I popped it in the DVD player to see the extras.

For those who want Edge's latest title win on DVD, looks like you will need to head to Blockbuster. The Blockbuster Exclusive Disc only features the Batista vs. Undertaker Cage Match. The case says featuring two bonus matches, so I assume that it just runs into the Edge win. The Bonus Features on the Regular, Feature Disc are: Teddy Long and Kristal celebrate with MVP and his entourage The New Breed Story (a brief segment with clips and studio interviews with CM Punk and Elijah Burke, still only a minute or two tops though) Randy Orton Interview So, to get the Edge win, it is part of the Blockbuster Exclusive. Judgment Day comes to DVD next Tuesday, June 19th.

Cleveland Cavaliers vs San Antonio Spurs
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to USC Wuz Robbed!'s topic in Sports
I just find it funny so many people still underestimated the Spurs going into this year's playoffs because they were the 3 seed. As a Suns fan, they were the one team I didn't want to face, out of all the teams in the league, and we saw how that went. Personally, although I've never had anything against the Spurs in the past, I am going to be rooting for Cleveland. I don't think they will win, but I want them to. I forgot that Cleveland won both games against the Spurs this year too. Nov 3 in San Antonio Jan 2 in Cleveland Seems like everyone important played in both games, but I don't feel there has been a team in this era can control a series like the Spurs. -
WWE General Discussion for June 2007

From Rajah.com: Jackass Crossover would've made more sense last summer, when they had the new movie coming out, now it just seems random. -
WWE General Discussion for June 2007
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
WWE.com's current poll asks what show you want Umaga on after the Draft Lottery. It doesn't reveal the results after you submit your vote, but tells you keep checking back for voicing your opinion on more superstars. -
Nope. In the case of the Blockbuster sets, they are the regular editions, with the second disc featuring two items of Blockbuster exclusive content. For Wrestlemania, seeing the set is 2 disc anyway, it is the same as the regular two-disc, except for bonus features they have the contract signing and the 8-man as the two extras.
-
Nope. Blockbuster edition just has Santino winning the IC Title and Lashley/Umaga from 4/24 ECW.

I just went to WWE.com and it says Orton vs. RVD have been added to ONS in a Stretcher Match.

I am a Celts fan too and I agree. Although Durant as of now is a "can't-miss-talent", to me it was only Oden. Now, by my thinking, I think the Celts need to snag Noah, even if it is "earlier than projected".

Backlash DVD extras are: Mr. Kennedy interviewed by Todd Grisham about Money in the Bank RVD comments on Mr. McMahon becoming ECW Champion The Blockbuster Exclusive content for Backlash is: The segment from 4/16 RAW leading up to and including Santino Marella winning the IC title Lashley vs. Umaga No DQ match - ECW 4/24

Yeah. The Rumble was the first one, so right now they have Rumble and No Way Out, which I know some stores already put some of their rentals out pre-viewed that I've seen. They get Mania tomorrow, but it doesn't look that promising, but then it lokos like the rest of the year, they will have Blockbuster exclusive bonus discs for the PPVs.
-
I have had that sitting on my shelf since Christmas and haven't gotten around to it. That's disappointing, but how I felt with the Horseman DVD. I was so excited for it, but just felt like my intelligence was being insulted most the disc. Arn Anderson was justifying their "legit crime" of beating Dusty Rhodes in the parking lot.
-
Yeah. They started out with just the big PPVs on DVD. 1999 - WM and Summerlsam 2000 - Rumble, Mania, KOTR, Summerslam, Survivor Series 2001 - Rumble, then Mania-the rest So all of 2001 was released but the beloved No Way Out 2001 and before that, just the Big 5 of 2000 and the big 2 from 99. The Attitude Collection was re-released on DVD, but the only two events released in that set were Unforgiven 98 and IYH: Rock Bottom (12/98). All the other DVDs in that series were the small documentaries, like the TLC one and one of the Rock videos. I heard all of the Attitude Collection ones were those DVDs with no menus or options, basically you just put the DVD in and it played straight through. Wouldn't surprise me because these were rehashed to be "Value Price DVDs". In other news, Backlash is getting pushed out awful quick to Wrestlemania. Wrestlemania comes out this Tuesday the 22nd and Backlash is going to be the next Tuesday, the 29th. That's like the quickest back to back releases I can think of, other than Surivor Series and December to Dismember being released on the same day a few months back. Also, it looks like Blockbuster will be continuing the exclusive disc series. They have 2-Disc Backlash, Judgment Day, Vengeance and One Night Stand listed in their computer already (typically as far out as they go at this time, through the July releases). The Blockbuster exclusive content for Mania is not very exciting, unless you just want to get the set really cheap when the rentals go Pre-Viewed. The first disc is the show up until the main event. Disc two is the main event and the two exclusive special features, which is the Battle of the Billionaires contract signing and the Originals vs. New Breed Extreme Rules rematch from ECW on Sci-Fi.
