I finally got to play the game today. Although I wasn't used to the new controls, I won every match I played except a Money in the Bank match. In terms of glitches to add to the list, I did a Singles w/ Manager vs. Singles w/Manager match of Great Khali w/ Davari vs. Mysterio w/ Eddie at the Rumble and for some reason Davari and Khali came out with a group entrance to Mark Henry's song. Still the Tiger Titan Tron and Khali's music when he won the match. I tested them individually and they both had the right music as singles, I just thought this was strange.

Wrestler who's had the most gimmicks/names?
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Man Who Sold The World's topic in General Wrestling
I don't think Darsow was a full time Doink, but I had thought I heard he put on the mask a couple times at least as well. -
I knew WWE Magazine did their stuff in advance, but they must do it further in advance than I thought in the past. I just got the Holiday 2006 issue in the mail and there are several Kurt Angle pictures and references in the magazine.

The OAO Black Friday/Holiday shopping DVD steals and deals thread

Yeah, I was interested in seeing what was $1.88, but I think I had them, much like Fry's Electronics 99 cent DVDs (I know they had Matrix, Terminator 3 and Wedding Singer (orignial version)). Last night I ran out to pick something up last minute at Fry's and ended up getting Monk Season 1 for $11.99. -
Like Superman Returns. Now I liked Superman Returns, but I'm not sure if he even had a single line in the movie. He must have been a really huge Superman fan and begged the producers to let him have some kind of role because I can't imagine the casting director being like "You know who would be great as one of Luthor's henchmen? Kumar!" haha, yeah. That was a strange one that I was okay with, but I dunno, if you look in a video store, he has so many direct to video movies (Bachelor Party Vegas, Ball and Chain, Dude, Where's the Party? among several others), the new Van Wilder I really have my doubts about, I got free passes to that new "Deck the Halls" with Matthew Broderick and Danny DeVito and he even shows up in that randomly.

yeah, I like Daniel Craig, so I am looking forward to Layer Cake. I haven't really had interest in Ultraviolet, but I figured $3 is less than renting it, so it's kinda a wash that I can probably make money off trading in when I am done. -
I like Kal Penn, but once again, I don't think he ever says no to a script.

Target had the Xbox and PS2 Versions on sale for 24.87 today. I picked up the Xbox version and am disappointed so far. After running around and figuring how to fly, you have to destroy a meteor shower. It takes too long. I tried it for like 4 attempts before I turned it off for now. I guess I can't complain because I got it about half price for now, but we'll see.

No mentions of In Your House? The sequel to Wrestlemania: The Arcade game, where there were character driven environments.

I dunno if Rey would stay or go, I'd say 50-50. Sure, WWE is the big time and he had his highest success there, but I'd say he'd be an NWA Champion sooner than we'd see him a WWE champion again. Also, less hectic schedule, Konnan and others, I'll be interested in seeing where this goes.

Is the rumor of 2 Spirit Squad members and Kendrick/London true?

I picked it up yesterday, but I am not going to listen to it until I get to see the movie, so I have nothing spoiled.

Comments that which don't warrant a thread
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to a topic in Television & Film
I'm probably in the minority, but as of right now, I feel like Blu-Ray and HD DVDs for now, will go the way of the Laser Disc. I mean, working in a place that sells movies, there are still people angry that we don't carry VHS anymore and refuse to get a regular DVD player. The way people have been snapping up DVDs, I don't see them so willing to change their whole collection again for a while. I dunno, maybe it's just me. -
WON TNA News and Notes - November 13th

Sapp could just have the same gimmick as his character in The Longest Yard. That may be why WWE wanted him in ECW. So Khali could "broked his nose" again. -

I love how there is a little Jaws sounding part when he talks about the Shark. -
There used to be WWF Mania also, with Todd Pentingill in the early 90s, before it got replaced with The Action Zone.

Dink tackling the midget was from Survivor Series 1994. I don't know about the X-Pac/Tori thing. Yeah, I know they were Survivor Series. I vividly remember Doink's team of midgets vs. Lawler's team of midgets. I guess I should've worded it better. The point was Bret/HBK and Austin/Rock are things you want to remember in the "History Of" type things. I can think of several more important Survivor Series images to throw in than a couple of funny dressed midgets and X-Pac and Tori, when the banner is representing their second longest running Pay Per View.
-
The history of Survivor Series banner on WWE.com seems like a joke. Sure it's got Shawn superkicking Bret in 92 and Austin stunning the Rock, but it also features Dink tackling another midget and X-Pac kicking Tori....

I really hope they go classic format this year. TEAM LASHLEY VS. TEAM TATANKA!

I agree with all above said about Bruno, but I hadn't heard anything about Bruno. I heard on the radio the other day that Sasha was developing a brand new character and he wasn't releasing any details in advance, so that people would not be aware when he went to film the movie.
