WCW's greatest matches DVD...
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Wrestlefreak's topic in General Wrestling
I'd watch almost any WCW match on DVD as long as it doesn't have Viagra, Judy Bagwell, poles or a combination of those items. -
The flier inside the DVD advertises: Ultimate Avengers 2 - August 2006 Iron Man - October 2006 Dr. Strange - February 2007

They do have a sequel scheduled for DVD in the fall, so maybe...

Problem With Syriana?
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to USC Wuz Robbed!'s topic in Television & Film
I am not sure on the delay. I know it was originally scheduled for this week I believe. I remember reading it was going to be out in April, then next I knew, it had a June date. I can remember other movies bumping back a few months from the original date with no reason (Bowling for Columbine, Punch-Drunk Love, Pianist, Mystic River), this one is no different. The main trend in those are awards movies (Punch Drunk was nominated for at least 1 Golden Globe), keep the hype building I guess after Clooney's Oscar win. -
I know HHH has put a lot of people over in recent times, but my main interest is still seeing HHH lay down for RVD. It's had a need to come since 2002.

Yeah, I remember Angels in the Outfield was filmed in Oakland Coliseum and Jerry Maguire was filmed at Sun Devil Stadium where the Cardinals really do play, because I lived at those places at the time. I believe that both of them were filmed on "special days" where the real teams weren't even there.

I watched that game today. It was a fun game. Down to the wire the 9 and 10 "seeds". I loved seeing D. Howard have such a huge game too. He's one of my favorite's in the league. True class act and on the road to superstardom. I definately think he has been way underrated thus far, but I think he may be taking a road similar to Bosh/Amare Stoudemire, where they really get hyped come Year 3. It was nice because I enjoyed that game, then flipped over on the League Pass to catch the end of that Pacers/Bobcats game. Somewhat meaningless game (other than possibly what spot Pacers wind up in the playoffs), but a fun game.

What DVDs would you like to see the WWE release?
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to iggymcfly's topic in The WWE Folder
Here is the link where you can vote which matches they'll include on the DVD set for a September release. They give a list of matches for each decade from the 70s to the 2000s and you have to pick 5 from each decade. Pretty cool, IMO. I was excited, so I went to vote and all the choices left me pretty unenthused. I mean, aside from the 70s, most of the interesting ones are already on DVD. -
I hope they interview HHH as an expert on Kane's teenage years.

Movies that everyone loves that you cannot get the love for
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Masked Man of Mystery's topic in Television & Film
First one that popped into my head was Dazed and Confused. I will also throw my name in for Devil's Rejects. -
WWE to RETURN to "The Garden" & a THIRD "Ecw one Ni
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
maybe WWE returning to the Garden will be a stipulation won in Vince vs. God.... I mean, with there's no continuity, we don't have to emphasize which Garden. -
I was confused why the ran that long Barbara Ann clip last night and then it was the ad. Then later in the night they mentioned the night and time and put a little thing that said something along the lines of [really, we're not joking]. I still don't get it, but oh well.

Yeah, I've been hooked on this show lately. I caught a couple episodes and then found out the DVD was coming out. I watched the whole thing in one sitting, see it is only 8 episodes. The season premiere was pretty good too, but I missed this week's episode. I dunno, from this to Avenue Q the musical, dirty, messed up Sesame Street is always a hit to me.

I think that his current song seems out of place for where they are bringing his character. I mean, as strange as it may sound, his current song sounds like a midcarder intro. When he's been in RAW main events, the current song seems way out of place.

Box Office Report 3/7-4/9
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Gary Floyd's topic in Television & Film
Same here. Hasn't been too much I wanted to see so far this year. I want to catch those two. Those are the only two of the five I was slightly interested in to be released so far. I've seen the other three. I did catch Benchwarmers this week and it wasn't as horrible as I expected. I originally thought it sounded interesting, then the previews looked weak to me, but the movie ended up being alright. This one is probably the most self-glorification of Rob Schneider that his movies have had yet... but I still enjoyed the movie overall. Not a classic, but not bad if you are just looking for a couple laughs and a time killer. -
I may catch heat for this one, and it hasn't even happened yet. It bugs me when everyone calls Reggie Miller a first ballot Hall of Famer, especially considering it took Dominique a couple. Reggie did well in a lull period, but I have a hard time putting him in classification with Legendary status. He has a high point total and most three pointers hit, but that is why he gets so much love. If Reggie had lived in the era pre-three point line, I don't think he would've had as much impact. He's still only the second best player in his family too....

South Park Season 10 starts tomorrow
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Thoth's topic in Television & Film
That was my first thought too. As soon as I saw the "Next Week... on South Park", I've been saying Crab People. I love me the Crab People... -
Which wrestlers have held multiple titles simultaneously in the WWE?
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to a topic in General Wrestling
I thought of that one too. Then, at Summerslam 99, Jeff Jarrett beat him for both. He gave Mark Henry the European belt the next night, but for one night, Jarrett held both. -
I actually was watching last year's show the other day and thinking how over Benjamin was while watching it. Benjamin had the most reactions and crowd support in the beginning of the show.

Bret Hart confirms he will not be at WrestleMania
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Enigma's topic in The WWE Folder
Ah, that's right. It was Dallas. I remember they did something with Harry Smith in that magazine too back in the day, like a one time thing. -
Bret Hart confirms he will not be at WrestleMania
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Enigma's topic in The WWE Folder
I'm pretty sure Beans has been around for a while now... don't remember a nickname or not, but I remember the child being mentioned when one of Bret's sons (I think Blade) used to have his own column in WWF magazine. -
I think it is more about Edge saying himself and JBL are the only true heels. He seemed to leave someone out wHHHo may get mad....
