I think the Clippers got better than the Sonics in that one. Giving up Swift, Ridnour, Fortson and Wilkens for just Croshere and Tinsley? I'd say Seattle gets the worst end in that fantasy trade.

ECW One Night Stand II-It's Official
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to ANKLELOCK's topic in The WWE Folder
I agree, however I don't know if Spike would come back or not. Sure the money is calling, but I know Spike was rather disgruntled after leaving the E. -
Rey Mysterio comments on use of Eddie Guerrero in storylines
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Enigma's topic in The WWE Folder
I don't know how Eddie would've enjoyed this. I don't know if those are Rey's true feelings, but I know their have been backstage reports questioning him since the Smackdown Special vs. Big Show with the exploding lowrider. -
WCW facts, tidbits, and stuff people forgot
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to JoeDirt's topic in General Wrestling
I just check Obsessed with Wrestling and here is the list of people Teddy Long managed: Sid Vicious Dan Spivey Mean Mark Callous Ron Simmons Butch Reed Johnny B. Badd Too Cold Scorpio Marcus Bagwell Ice Train Sgt Craig Pittman Joey Maggs Jimmy Powers Bobby Walker D’lo Brown Rodney Mack Jazz Christopher Nowinski He managed Doom from 89 until their breakup in 1991 where he and Butch Reed turn on Ron Simmons. He brought in Johnny B. Badd, but left him before Badd became a TV Titlist. -
WCW facts, tidbits, and stuff people forgot
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to JoeDirt's topic in General Wrestling
I'm not too polished on my early 90s WCW, but didn't he manage Doom for a little bit? I think it was closer to when they split, but I think he did. -
Suncoast/Sam Goody going out of business!
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Anakin Flair's topic in Television & Film
Yeah, that's true. And while I would expect it a little more on older movies, I've had it happen on brand new stuff too. A couple weeks ago when Thumbsucker came out, I was in the mall so I figured I'd see if they had it. They had no clue what I was talking about and couldn't give me any info, other than telling me it wasn't out yet, when it had been released that day. -
See, I think a banana shitting banana would be hilarious. Of course, I'm not with it. I should really get with the times and laugh at dead people and rape. WWE will show me the light.

Suncoast/Sam Goody going out of business!
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Anakin Flair's topic in Television & Film
I have to agree with that it is still cheaper for the most part at other places. I got a couple things pretty cheap though, so I just picked them up at a Sam Goody closing. Now, one Suncoast near me is staying open and I had gotten that Replay card when I ended up buying a system one day, so I tried to use my card and they said you can't use it at closing stores. I don't get why that is necessary, but oh well. -
Thanks for the list as always. I was glad to see a synopsis on Young Mr. Lincoln, as I saw stuff briefly recently and now I am definately interested!

Smackdown Spoilers for the 2/17
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to BorneAgain's topic in The WWE Folder
We will all see Matt is still in the doghouse when his partner returns to the WWE. No Way Out will mark the Smackdown debut of POCKET ROCKET! -
I just saw that too. Didn't even realize that he was under a regular contract. I really want to know how they can justify the release of a Hall of Fame superstar....

Delonte West has been picked to replace Jameer Nelson in the Rookie/Soph game. As a Celtics fan, I was upset Delonte wasn't in the game in the first place, good to see him getting some recognition now, even though it was because of an injury.

Even though there are some guys on the rosters, as far as I'm concerned, the only ones I feel snubbed were Arenas and Carmelo. I am crossing my fingers Arenas is the reserve that Stern picks (I think on Tuesday he is supposed to pick it) and even though I like Ray Allen more than I like Carmelo, Carmelo probably should've been there over Allen. Those are the main two I feel were snubbed. If Camby had played more... maybe. He had a great start of the year, but spent too much time out hurt. Then again, that's why I can't stand fan voting. I don't think Yao or T-Mac deserve it this year. Another person to add to the large list of people that could've made it from the intial post, I'd say Chris Kaman. He has probably been one of the most consistant starting center in the West this year.

To throw in a more recent game, I really liked the Haunted Mansion game when it first came out. I couldn't stop playing it til I beat it, which is usually pretty rare for me... I just never sit down a beat a game. I have it on the PS2, but since then, with the exception of the SvR series, I pretty much only play my Xbox. I saw the Xbox version (along with PS2 and GC) in the discount bin recently and thought about getting it and doing it all over again.

"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan & Goldust - Tag Team Champions?
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Downhome's topic in The WWE Folder
If his TNA run was anything to go by then I doubt he's one of the best workers on the roster. I think that's true, but for some strange reason to me at least, it always seems like Dustin puts on his A-Game as Goldust. Not TAFKA Goldust, or himself, when he is Goldust, he seems extra motivated almost. -
WON News and Notes - WWE Star to retire soon
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
That would be stupid, but you never know. I do know next time Wrestlemania is being slated as in Chicago not to get my hopes up. -
Last movie you watched on VHS
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Ravenbomb's topic in Television & Film
I think it was Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman because I found that and Heartbreak Ridge at the 99 Cents Only store. -
seeing they give one shot, one night contracts and he was only "fired from RAW", I think there may be a possibility of seeing Jericho on this card. One night wouldn't really ruin his touring and such, unless it is booked a night where he is already committed.

Comments that don't warrant a thread
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to {''({o..o})''}'s topic in Video Games
I remember getting the Mario one from Toys R Us back in the day when I was taken to get some birthday presents... so it was a regular toy if that helps. -
I was thinking that myself and would say it's a good chance. I mean, it is probably one of, if not the most memorable Pillman match in the WWF, and they love to include their own stuff. I think if they put that and the Pillman/Liger Superbrawl II, those two matches alone would sell many copies of this set.

Michael Cole & Tazz Get Radio Show On Sirius
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Enigma's topic in The WWE Folder
Michael Cole = Comedic Genius -
Yeah, I went to the summer league in Vegas last year, after his rookie year. Despite having a solid rookie year, he was one of the second year players there. He was by far one of the top there and he was definately the nicest. On the night the Magic were the last game of the night, he stayed after and signed stuff for everyone and gave away his shoes too! This guy is awesome on and off the court, I definately agree with what you said.

They claim Jackson has to play most of the game or none at all... that it is the only way he is effective. It's just hard for me to believe their 6th man last year and one of their hottest players in last years playoffs just gets no play though.

WCW facts, tidbits, and stuff people forgot
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to JoeDirt's topic in General Wrestling
Count me in too as a 3 Count mark. I loved it when Tank Abbott was their manager wearing that shirt with the nipples peaking out. I thought Tank portrayed the "Big Goofy guy who could snap and punch you out at any moment" well. haha, definately Tank's shining moment. A brilliant theme song too... "We like the Backstreet Boys, N Sync too, Brittany Spears is kinda cute, we watch the T-R-L on M-T-V, everyone with 3 Count, 1-2-3!" -
Raven won the WCW Cruiserweight title as Scotty Flamingo in the early 90s and went on to become ECW and TNA World Champion. Other than that, it seems Christian may, as he had the WWF Light Heavyweight and SHOULD get the TNA title soon... but thus far, only one I am aware of you did not say would be Raven under two different gimmicks.
