    Armageddon Predictions

they should just add Boogeyman as Lashley's partner last minute to soften the blow of a Burchill/Regal loss. Like have Boogeyman come out as the match is starting. You know Boogeyman will show up at some point on the show, but I don't know what low card heel they could feed to him right now... most of Smackdown's roster are faces, midcard heels not on the show already are Doug Basham (not ever on TV), Ken Kennedy (injured), Simon Dean (already lost to him), Orlando Jordan (if on card, likely to face JBL who is not on the card) and Sylvian (I think they are pushing him). I am not sure if Stevie is heel or face and last I knew Nunzio and Vito were faces... I would guess Sylvian if anyone, but that still doesn't seem likely.

Could Jim Ross be the next Raw general Manager?

I think everyone and their mother knows it is going to be Frank Stallone... where's the surprise in that? I'm laughing at WWE.com again. Someone mentioned Luna Vachon and Kurrgan as co-GMs. I think my life has been emptier with a lack of Kurrgan.

    DVD Releases: Holidays Edition

cool, thanks. The next couple weeks looks a little slow anyway, but I took a look, there are some that I hadn't read before I read your summaries on that make me kinda interested. Thanks again.

    TNA Spoilers

That's exactly what I was thinking, but what kind of WWE invasion is Shannon Moore, Hebner and Jackie Gayda? They might throw in some guys like Haas, who is likely to come and maybe they'll pick up the former Billy Kidman, Jindrak, trying to think of others from the cut... the most exciting guys (Christian, Team 3D) that would mean anything are already "Hardcore TNA", unless they pull a page from WWE's invasion and have guys that have already been with the company a few years invade...

    2006 Baseball Games

dang, this is the first I've heard of only 2KSports doing baseball. I generally prefer 2KSports in most games, but still liked MVP best for baseball.

DVD Releases: Week of December 13th

I'm about to head out to pick up 40 Year Old Virgin, The Baxter, The Island (got $3 off inside War of the Worlds, I'll pick it up for $10), Valiant (got a $3 coupon for this, another one, will be $10) and Bad News Bears. Gonna order Sin City online, cause I've been waiting since before the regular edition came out for this one and it's cheapest online.

    What aren't you reading

I just knocked down a book on the history of the Dallas Mavericks that I've been wanting to read since the summer, just haven't gotten down to it. On my reading list, I picked up a bunch of basketball books over the past few months including a book about the Knicks that went to the championship in the strike season, a book by George Karl, a book about the early 90s TrailBlazers (which I think Rick Adelman was involved with) and a book about the Utah Jazz championship run that they lost in the late 90s. Also sports-wise I have been waiting to read Johnny Damon's book. I picked up Stephen King's Dreamcatcher finally since the movie unintentionally tickled me in the theaters, as well as the Complete Lewis and Clark journals, Glorious Cause by Jeff Shaara, Da Vinci Code (have had it since it was new, never got around to it, have been debating whether I want to read it before the movie comes out or after I go see the movie) and whatever I get for Christmas (probably Al Franken's book, HBK's book among others). I guess I'll try knocking down Jon Stewart's old book, the Naked Pictures of Famous People (I started it months ago just started reading something else) and should knock that down until John Hodgman's The Areas of My Expertise FINALLY arrives from Amazon.com.

    John Woo's Live action He-man

Skeletor flicking the wrist is a little bit gay, but I couldn't say that about anything so close to that ad with "He-man"....

HHH is now obsessed with wrestling message boards

I think we know who HHH is on the board.... just kidding. I personally don't mind H3 on top, as I've been a fan of his for a while. Even as a fan though, just some of it gets old. Like last year before NYR when the title was vacated for like 2 weeks just to go back to him. No problem with him at the top, just some of the antics while he's at the top gets stale (which would also include where most of the hate started it seems, ending the Main Event pushes of RVD, Kane and Booker T in a single (respective) match(es).)

DVD Releases: Week of December 6th

cool. I was near Circuit City today and got Fantastic Four and because it was $13.99 picked up Dukes of Hazzard, even though I am thinking it will be used for a trade-in. Gonna stop by and pick up Cinderella Man from a local Wal-Mart where the new ones are $13.95 every week (for some reason one of them always has cheaper prices and leaves the new ones really cheap for the first couple weeks). I didn't realize how awesome that Batman set was gonna be until now, so I may swing back and get that while it's still on sale. A lot of those episodes were ones I didn't get to see due to local carrying where I was. The Jackass set I am unsure of. Has anyone heard anything about the set?

    X-Men 3 Pictures/Preview

I don't know if I am saying what the original poster intended, but every talk I've heard in the past few years for an Iron Man movie has Tom Cruise as Iron Man. Well, Cruise is one.. but I was referring to Justin Timberlake. I still stand by my choice of Tom Sellick as Tony Stark! Ugh, I never heard Timberlake. I don't mind Cruise, he's the only one I heard, but Timberlake.... bah. I'd mark out for Tom Selleck too, especially if in one scene he throws a Hawaiian shirt over the Iron Man suit...

Keep in mind.... ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE IN THE WWE!

    Christy Released

I guess I'll just be adding to the pile. This is a cut that disappoints me, because usually I could care less about the divas, but I really liked Christy and thought she actually managed to be one of the best talent additions. Christy and Trish (in no specific order) were my two favorite divas, at least Tirsh is a little more untouchable, but the wording does sound like maybe Christy initiated too. I wouldn't be surprised, because she's barely been around since they traded her to Smackdown with the arrival of Ashley, who lost every bit of charisma she showed in the crappy contest.

    Mr. Kennedy.....injured

At very least I'd guess they'd give him something along the lines of Orton's RNN updates back in the fall of 02. His show is likely, I'm just waiting for the "clever name attached"

    Random WWE News

Two pages into this thread and no one has questioned this yet? Granted WWE has gone non-sensical lately and some of this is interesting enough to discuss, but usually someone rebuts the source by this point.

Has anyone found Taboo Tuesday '05

The picture of the World Title is last years. I haven't seen this years in person, but online it is the same cover as the PPV poster. Two moniters with Angle and Cena on each with Bischoff tied up with a taped mouth on the cover. I went to Wal Mart yesterday morning. They hadn't finished putting out all the new releases, so with a movie I asked about Taboo Tuesday also. They found the movie but could not find the Taboo Tuesdays, although they said they should have 11 in stock.

WO Newsletter News for the week

Disturbed already has a song called "The Game" that isn't too bad... I wouldn't mind if they used that.

And the next piece of crap from WWEShopzone is...

I bought mine for around $5 new a few years back and actually about 3 weeks ago I saw a few copies on the clearance shelf of a Target that doesn't get much traffic! I laughed so hard... then went home to listen to Macho Man teach me the planets.

Does ANYTHING significant happen on Smackdown?

Umm, no. It was just the SD6 seeing how Cena has never been close to the workrate of those 6 men. And who would be number 8 if Cena is 7? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Cena wasn't involved. He was starting his current gimmick. In the tag tournament, Cena and Kidman lost to I believe Ron Simmons and Reverand D-von (who went pretty far in the tournament). After the loss Cena turned heel, a few weeks later, he shows up as Vanilla Ice on Halloween, thrown in a little visit from Bull Buchanan and Rodney Mack and we all know the rest. I don't recall anyone really breaking into these, except when one of the members was given a title shot, which was toward the end of their run.

    Eugene Hospitalized

They could go all "Flowers for Algernon" with Eugene... but I don't think anyone is ready for Nick Dinsmore sex scenes.

    Eddy Guerrero passes away

I've never seen too many of these go through... but I did add my sig. When I went to do it, the thing was at like 1490, by the time I added mine, and then hit the refresh button the sig count was up to 1548. Of course, the people who write like third graders or do stuff like "Name: Vince" "Comments: YOOOUUU'RREE FIIIRREED" don't help, but still, it's a start.

Here's to hoping Batista wears Vader's old animal head mask to the ring... I mean, he is the animal...

    NBA Week 1

although both teams are still developing, I really wanted to see Boston vs. Knicks tomorrow. I am a huge Celts fan and the Knicks should have an interesting team. Possibly the best rookie combo from this year with Frye-Robinson-Lee, along with seeing how the new look Knicks will do, should be a fun game. I have the League Pass and the only two on are the Kings-Hornets and the Bucks-76ers. Depending on what time the TNT games start (namely Phoenix (my West Coast transplant team)), I think I may watch some of the Sixers-Bucks, who I think will have a nice season this year, despite the fact that I think they gave Terry Porter the shaft. Well, just noticed Knicks-Celts isn't til Wed... here's to hoping it's on TV.
