I myself am a New England sports fan (albeit removed from the area), but I personally love the team jereseys there. Red Sox and Celtics may be plain, however they represent the tradition of the team.

Oh no, you don't... Santa Claus = Buyrates. No, I believe he is right. This is a decent spike from recent times. Take a look at the buyrates for the last PPV broadcast Funaki was on, compared to anyone else on the show.

Which former WCW really benefited from going to
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to MikeJordan23's topic in General Wrestling
I was thinking of starting a thread on this recently, but really, my choice would be to the non-wrestlers. I think that Torrie Wilson and Stacy Keibler are the two from Invasion era at least that benefitted the most. Most actual wrestlers dropped down the card, however Torrie and Stacy have been in mainstream magazines, among other things, getting much more exposure than they ever would have in WCW. -
Yes it did. Strange--I never, ever saw a GH copy, new or used, anywhere around where I live, and even when I was in New York. *shrug* I bought mine on a Platinum Hits rack a couple weeks ago and just saw it in a Platinum Hits package for the first time the day after Christmas.

I just bought a bunch of games for my new X-box and I have been hooked on Star Wars Battlefront. It is on all platforms, but I just wanted to play for a few minutes and ended up playing around two hours. It is on sale at Target this week for $37 and if they don't have it, they give you a rain check, which is good for about two months.

Everyone has also forgotten Billy Gunn. Johnny Stamboli was another.

I loved this movie when I drove 40 minutes away to see it on its Limited Release Opening Day and I loved it again when I watched the DVD. The deleted scenes are awesome as well. I would recommend getting the DVD if not just to see the deleted kickball scene.

Most Shameless Shilling in Wrestling
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Just John's topic in General Wrestling
I was always bothered by the non-stop shill of Stridex for Summerslam 95. I mean, a lot of the PPVs had sponsers, but even the Colliseum Video Box says "Stridex Presents Summerslam 1995". It was just tacked everywhere, even moreso than any other instance. -
Nintendo's next console Revolution.....
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Eclipse's topic in Video Games
Nintendo will be getting rid of the A/B buttons and debut the new high tech gaming technology... buttons 1 and 2! -
I was on WWE.com earlier today and noticed a small blip, where now you can vote for what the next Chris Benoit t-shirt is going to be. They have three options and then a "None" option. I thought it was pretty interesting and maybe a good idea considering the string of bad merchandise being put out. Here is the link to the vote. http://poll.wwe.com/benoits_shirt/

Smackdown Superstars under fire in Iraq

I'm a big nasty bastard... gotta have my Pops! -
I think his injury this time around is like Nomar Garciappara's was for the Red Sox this summer. He was injured and sulked, got traded to a new team and was all of a sudden better. It would not surprise me to see Carter activated by the end of the week. I just wish he had gone to Portland so he would have been disqualified from the All-Star voting, seeing he is still one of the top vote getters and will be by the end, starting for an All-Star team he shouldn't even be on.

I think that was an issue with a lot of people. Around the time the show was ending, we had to do these polls for one of my classes and I did one on favorite people in Seinfeld and NO ONE voted for Jerry. I asked about 100 people. Of course there were a lot of George and Kramers, but then there were some George's Dad, Soup Nazi, Newman, random supporting ones, no one picked Jerry. And Amen on the hate to the Blue Collar Gang. I find a lot of stupid stuff funny, but I cannot stand them at all. Larry the Cable Guy is definately the worst too and people who actually use Get-R-Done should be pushed into speeding traffic.

I've never watched any reality TV. No interest. I really think Chappelle should've tried to get some money from FOX when they made Trading Spouses real. Another one that I think is pretty cold and pointless that is looking to get picked up is "Are You That Girl With T-Boz and Chili?", a reality show where the two remaining TLC members (the other one died last year) try to find their new member.

Official Royal Rumble 05 Entrance List
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to ChrisMWaters's topic in The WWE Folder
I know a lot of people said they don't like how 1 and 2 is revealed, but I really hate 30th entry the most. The first year they did that, okay, it fit with the storyline at the time, but now it is every year! Also, there needs to be some surprise entrants still. 2002 had some nice comebacks and such, but they all got announced. I'm not saying necessarily I want them to dig up someone worthless, however, I liked it better when there was some interesting surprise element. -
Chappelle's Show season 2 DVD info
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Youth N Asia's topic in Television & Film
This was one of my favorite this season. The Oscar chacter was gold! "What you don't understand, is I make love to my hand, I don't need you honey, I beat my dick like it owe me money!" -
Chappelle's Show season 2 DVD info
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Youth N Asia's topic in Television & Film
I KNOW! I've been foaming at the mouth for this one since the start of Season 2, but now this! I have to have it! -
I picked up the X-Box Holiday Bundle for myself today, just for the heck of it. I've had my PS2, but it was so cheap today and it gave me some opportunities to play some games I wouldn't have a chance to play normally. I got mine from Sam's Club, where it came the with best deal, as it was the System, 2 months X-Box Live and Top Spin/NCAA Football as advertised, as well as a second controller and the DVD remote for $187. The main thing I was curious about, if anyone else got this, did all systems come with both games just on one disc? I was wondering where my second game was, when I opened it up to see they combined both onto one disc. Both games are their complete versions, it just seemed strange to me to be combined. I picked up my first two games also, which I guess most people would consider duds, but I just wanted to try and never see them to rent. I picked up Batman: Dark Tomorrow and Pirates of the Carribean. Tomorrow I will probably find some stuff to rent, the Halo and the Fable and whatnot. Did anyone else pickup the X-Box bundle, or any of the other "Holiday Specials" on systems or games?

I haven't tried the new one, but Tak and the Power of Juju is a good one. I also thought the Haunted Mansion game was pretty good.

Review The Wrestling DVD/VHS Above You
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Elbarto997's topic in General Wrestling
Where else can you watch a string of Billy & Chuck's entrance theme? Not a terrible concept for a DVD, as it was cheaply priced and gave some new tracks unavailable on Music CDs and the entrance videos for those who were extremely into having thier own figure federations, this video is a decent way to watch some old Titan Trons, although anyone who watches the whole thing straight through, more than a few times probably doesn't have much of a life. Next review, Hardy Boyz: Leap of Faith -

I don't know why there should be a black James bond in the first place, really. Is there a candidate who really warrants the role that much as to fundamentally change the character? Tracy Morgan

Face/heel turns during Russo's WCW stint
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to JoeDirt's topic in General Wrestling
That was in the time period between Russo's booking stints, when Kevin Sullivan & co. were in charge. Some of these turns are just mind boggling. I do NOT remember Bret Hart joining the New Blood. I remember Hart coming back and helping Lance Storm I believe, but nothing with the New Blood.
