I think they learned their lesson on Mormon gimmicks with the RTC... well, I guess not exactly, but if they were, I would've marked out for Steven Richards coming out with a bike helmet on!

I'm a sucker for kids movies and being this was one of the few recent ones that looked good, I was pumped. It is a kids movie, but a lot of the humor isn't really stuff kids should know... which makes it even better...

That's another funny thing. Paul London is mentioned in a bunch of different Smackdown Magazines, however those magazines are intended for marks and I don't think the marks know who he is!

I haven't seen the first one in years, but as much as I liked it then, a sequel for that movie would just be looking to be a joke.

I was surprised at how over Eugene was last night. I think the only way he could be more over now is if he came out to the Black Eyed Peas' "Let's Get Retarded". As much as I've enjoyed watching the character so far, exceeding my expectations, just like everyone else, as much as I thought about it as he was fighting last night, I don't see him doing much more than he is doing now. He won't be credible and only hurt any title. Even a fluke win for say the US wouldn't seem right. There's a possibility to extend the gimmick that we will see him and Regal win the tag belts. Actually, I say that is more than likely and they will probably beat whatever heel team that beats Benoit/Edge. This situation is really a very delicate one in terms of a future for Dismore.

I'd rather see something fresh like a Green Lantern movie than another Superman movie, especially with the casting. Superman is probably a bigger cash draw, but mostly anything super hero has been successful lately and I could see something like a movie about "The Flash" doing well.

I voted for Denzel. I'd like to see how they explain that one.

what a goofy answer... the true answer is the one who pointed out his speech problem, the person most fit to do a voice over in the WWE... Lita. Maybe they can incorporate that scream from tonight's RAW into the promos too.

I saw this game the other day when it came out and thought it looked cool. My buddy rented it and although he hasn't gotten to play it too much, says it is pretty cool what he has done. I just picked up four new games over the past week though (Red Dead Revolver, Van Helsing, Shrek 2 and the new Scooby Doo (okay, I'm a sucker for kids games...)) so I won't grab this right away. I have been thinking about doing the Blockbuster game pass next week though, in which case this will probably be one of the first ones I grab.

It's funny this thread came back up, because I recently started getting some cards again. I used to collect all the time and have a huge collection of baseball and basketball ranging from all over. I have a couple assorted football and a couple complete sets here and there of different wrestling or Marvel cards, along with scatters of every fad/movie from the 80s/90s you can imagine. I recently started collecting a lot of cards again, because of all the hype this NBA rookie class is getting. They are starting to make some of the rookie cards more rare again and if this Rookie class lives up to their potential, I should have some good pulls. In doing that, I've managed to pick up a couple near sets, a couple random things for basketball and decided to do the same with baseball this year.

I went to the Headbangers Ball tour last November and it's been my favorite concert I went to. It was Shadows Fall, God Forbid, Lamb of God and Killswitch. God Forbid opened and they were slow opening the doors, so I missed them, but Shadows Fall were great. I didn't know too much about them going in, but they were awesome. As soon as their set was done, I went over to the booth to get their shirt. It is worth seeing their show just for the lead singer's hair alone. Although that was a joke, it was pretty entertaining. Definately worth a check.

woah, sorry if this is ignorant, but I have a couple quick questions. I haven't been able to read comics for a while since there are no decent comic shops in my area and I rarely see them in the stores these days. Female Robin? How recent did this happen and why? I see mention of Grayson as Nightwing still, but if Robin is becoming female, what happened to Tim Drake? Any explanation would be cool, just makes me curious...

I bought it and have played the first little bit. I love it so far. I just love the setting and everything. There is a little showdown setting I played first, where it's you and someone else in a setting and you have like a little duel, first one to earn so much money wins. I began the story mode and have played the first level and a half (just because my first opportunity to plug it in was late last night). Pretty fun, but also your typical Rockstar game. The Old West setting was the biggest draw for me and that definatley brings more excitement to the game. I think I am going to go play it now.

Actually, Jericho co-held the IC belt with Chyna, but I get what are you saying. My major gripe with this was that the Cruiserweight title was finally becoming meaningful. The Chavo/Rey at No Way Out was advertised and built as one of the top matches on the card. The Wrestlemania match solidified Chavo with the belt. Lots of good things had been going to make the belt look good again, having a woman who hasn't been on TV for at least half a year beat the "unstoppable" champion just doesn't seem right, regardless of what has happened in the past. We'll see where it goes next week, but if she gets a reign longer than a week, it just won't seem right.

I was a little disappointed with last year's, however that gets points from me because I got to go to it. I think the main problem with it, was, it wasn't horrible, but there wasn't much too it. On top of it, Summerslam had a string of awesomeness going on, where it just couldn't compete last year.

As much as I agree that it is early, and was surprised myself, it's not like it matters. Undeserving guys make it moreso than the ones that truly belong there. I like Steve Francis, however, this season, at All-Star break, he didn't really deserve to be there and if the fans hadn't have voted him in, he probably wouldn't have been. His fellow guard teammate Cuttino Mobley was having a better season than him at that point. Guys like Nomar, I like, but I won't vote for him because he's also missed a great chunk. I think the guys who are playing night in and night out should be making these teams, instead of getting in the popular guy who will play the game and then disappear to the DL again, it lessens the honor.
