Pro Bowl is definately the worst, as no one watches it, players back out among other things. It is after the season, so less people care. Best fluxates between basketball and baseball for me, although I've never seen a complete hockey one.

I have been a life-long Celtics fan and Danny Ainge's antics pain me. I like Doc, I think he'll be good, but I think all Celtics fans were looking for Westphal. Granted, he'd have to have the talent to do what he did in Phoenix, but Ainge continues to break tradition. Westphal is a former Celtic, it all would've fit nicely. They even rumored Dennis Johnson, another Celtic. We get someone, although good, out of the blue. It sounds like he did it for shock value again and he is completely wreckless. He traded Antoine Walker as part of a rebuilding process when they were one of the few credible Eastern teams. Then they squeaked into the playoffs through a combination of how horrible the East is and how dedicated Paul Pierce has remained to be. I am still waiting for the day Ainge will get axed. The Celts were just recovering from screwing up and giving Pitino the job Larry Bird should've had. Now look at the Pacers, where Bird went and is again now.

Orton/Shelton, Orton/Edge, Christian's Challenge
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Zack Malibu's topic in The WWE Folder
wow, kinda surprised. I know Christian isn't a smark darling, but I am surprised he wouldn't be considered moreso of a lesser evil in a WWE world where Hardcore Holly and JBL main event PPVs. Looks like more people are starting to sway for Christian in some form or another, but I think it would be good. Given his history, his recent history and his current entourage, this could be the step to build another big heel that they desperately need right now. -
You're so wrong. If Kobe was white, we all know he wouldn't be on trial... God Bless South Park

You're referring to Bob Sura, who's been around since 95-96, but just really hit his "original potential" at the end of this season, but personally for me... The people have spoken and the people demand... CHRIS MIHM~! The Secret of Mihm, baby!

The main thing I don't understand is that Bringing Down the House was out in time for last years awards. The awards are always done in June, BDtH came to theaters last April. There isn't a waiting period with a lot of these movie nominations. Just pretty strange, but it's not like they are real awards anyway.

Favorite Cameo In A Film
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to The Amazing Rando's topic in Television & Film
That one completely slipped my mind. You have the winner. I died when I saw that. I had heard he did raunchy stand-up, but I only knew him as Danny Tanner, so that = gold. -

Just thought of another one. David Letterman in Cabin Boy. He goes by another name in the credits, but that was like the best part of that movie. -
Favorite Cameo In A Film

I would have to go with Damon in Euro Trip also. Not only was it hilarious, but hardly anyone else in a pretty full theater but me caught that it was him. -
This has been a week of reflection, as we have heard the rumors of Eugene, a character that will bring prominence to the wrestling world again. If they want to go with this style of gimmick making again, what kind of characters would you like to see? We can't just stop at a handicapped guy (well, mentally, they already had physically) and a stock market guy. What else should there be? I would personally love to see A-Train in an astronaut gimmick. I would like to see a wrestling with a Smark Character, a la RTC. Have him try to talk about the inside in promos until HHH sticks up for everyone and buries him. He can disappear for a while and come back when/if Brock comes back, so Brock can literally kill him, with an on-screen death. Booker T also can't survive on the Smackdown hate forever. He can start an oppression gimmick. Everyone is going to think he will have recruited Teddy Long, but no. He will say he has been held back, because of his religion. Booker T will reveal he is Jewish. It even fits because the Spinaroonie can be renamed the Dreidel. Money making ideas here... well, actually I was really bored early and thought of these. But in the light of Eugene, let's see if anyone can top it.

In Honor Of Eugene
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to LivingLegendGaryColeman's topic in The WWE Folder
The champion should be wearing a mask and plays out like this. Champion: I am from the year 3000. All talent is too weak for me, I demand a title shot. Bischoff: A title shot? Wait a second? Lance Storm? Go back to Heat. <The Champion/Storm slumps his head and walks off, as he walks by, a man is picking out of the trash can, he turns around and it seems to be the recently fired Farooq> Farooq: DAMN! -
Really funny mental image. especially if he's just wearing them with his wresting attire

What do you think is going to be a better action
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Lil' Bitch's topic in Television & Film
Nevermind, I'm jumping dates. Although Hellboy has some competition (from completely different genres). Hellboy, Walking Tall, Bust a Moo (new Disney) and Prince & Me (new Julia Styles) all open this weekend. -

Wait, Troy comes out week after Van Helsing? That would be the 16th right? I know the 16th is Kill Bill Vol. 2 and Punisher, which would put a ton of big releases on one day... -
Former wrestler to star in sequel to.......
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to NoCalMike's topic in Television & Film
They don't want to do a "mainstream" movie with an X rating. Look at how Showgirls did... -
Best Chapelle's Show skits
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to WrestlingDeacon's topic in Television & Film
a lot of the best of the best have been mentioned so far. I haven't seen too much Season 2 yet, but have a favorite from there that is getting no love... The Sesame Street spoof with the VDs. GOLD! -
In Honor Of Eugene
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to LivingLegendGaryColeman's topic in The WWE Folder
My mistake. Didn't even catch that, don't even know why the ing is there... Let's assign a gimmick for Shannon Moore. I am thinking a combination of the Dustin Rhodes Se7en gimmick and Michael Jackson... although they are kind of one in the same... -
I haven't watched either in a while, but I voted HIAC. I think I liked that one better upon first viewings, plus like everyone else, never saw Angle winning.

Computers at Blockbuster have the date pushed back to April 9th. I don't know if that is the same everywhere, because sometimes Blockbuster is late, but I am curious, as I am waiting for my pre-order on it from EB (who said they will call when they have it).

So now that he's the deadman again.....
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Damaramu's topic in The WWE Folder
I would mark out if Harvey came back and with the talk of establishing managers, he should, but I doubt it... -

As long as there is no Orlando Jordon feud where Jordan cites that he is the real man from the dark side, I'll just see how this "nostalgia ride" goes. -
If Jim Carrey was in a new mothra.... I'd mark out like a mother-bitch

Who can forget Disco Inferno? I mean, it's the Disco FREAKIN' Inferno! He did that little run where everyone knew it was him. Wasn't he La Cucaracha?

Everyone needs one of those "Welcome to the Big League Stunners". It's been proven to get them over. Look at how over Stacy Keibler's been since she got stunned for not drinking the beer. She was the real heatless wonder before that stunner. Those stunners earn heat.
