The OAO Games and etc you got for Christmas
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Prophet of Mike Zagurski's topic in Video Games
I got tons of stuff, but gamewise I got: Tony Hawk Underground Eye Toy Karaokee Revolution Madden 2004 I also recieved a $15 giftcard for the Wherehouse I got the other day, which I will probably use toward a game. I am probably going to trade Madden tomorrow for NCAA March Madness 2004, as I recently got ESPN Football 2K4, and I found an ad for a local place with some great deals tomorrow, such as Max Payne 2 for $29.99. -
I own EA NCAA 2004 and ESPN. I got Madden today for a gift, but think I am going to exchange it for something else and then buy a Pre-Played copy of Madden from Blockbuster, where it'll be cheaper. I like the college one for the goofy little things like the Mascot Games and other little things. I like the ESPN for the realism and the pros being "name players". I lean a little more toward ESPN than Madden this year, but mainly because I've only played Madden a few times and that it is very similar to the college. If you are going for EA, I would pick College, just because even though you don't get the names, you get a lot more team selection and the fun little things I mentioned like mascot games. If choosing the pros, this year I liked ESPN, and you can shake it up on there once in a while with the first player perspective.

I don't know if you were talking about the one from Summerslam, but that was my choice. The A-Train/Taker match from Summerslam was a lot better than I was expecting... but I haven't seen it since the night it happened. We better re-evaluate the thread... there's a bit of A-Train mentions...

At least that had some classic promos behind that though. This one may be better wrestling wise, it will just be EXTREMELY heatless. What if Hardcore was a Super-Heavyweight again and pulled a Mabel, where he was so heavy Brock couldn't kick out? Sorry about that last one, Vince Russo snuck in my house and started to use my keyboard.

Chappelle's Show - Season 1 coming to DVD!
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to a topic in Television & Film
I will be there for this the day it comes out, as I was for his Platinum Comedy Series disc. -
I would've been alright with it if he came during the Invasion, but by now, no. He won't do it. I haven't seen any of his TNA run, but it saddens me he did that because Sting was WCW, and that is all he should've been once he declined the Invasion.

Which WWE Films Title do you like most?
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to a topic in General Wrestling
Stephie Screws Seattle? Wait, that might be the wrong division... I don't know if I can out-do The Good, The Bad and the A-Train... -
Wrestler most in need of the Fab Five?
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Betty Houle's topic in General Wrestling
Those crazy queers won't be able to tie Bradshaw down with rules... although he'll be able to tie them down... in the shower! Alright, everyone knew the hazing reference would come too, everyone just be glad it was done with early. -
Best King of the Ring Winner?
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to The Mandarin's topic in General Wrestling
I picked Owen mainly because he did the most with the title. Bret won it, but it was really just a bud to begin the several year feud with Jerry Lawler. Austin's success spawned off the victory, but he never really let it show that it was started with winning King. Mabel brought it up, but I don't feel the need to explain it. Owen was the KING of Hearts, he had a great tournament, deserved the victory, it boosted his career in the right direction, despite not going entirely, and most of all, for years he made sure the royalty was recognized. -
well, Smackdown has the special Iraq show this week, and I think last year the best of was just covered on one show as well, so this may be a whole year recap anyway... but those four seem like random choices. Big Show only for Smackdown, and besides the other Shane, the other two for RAW just don't seem rigHHHt. Note: The note about Shane being appropriate was only included to make another bad HHH reference. The comment does not neccessarily portray the views or beliefs of LivingLegendGaryColeman.

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation 2??
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in Television & Film
Then we can only hope Fox is working on a third one... -
I did not know the Zero-One thing, and I totally agree with the Kane point. The arguing factor may be that Kane should get a more deserving, longer run than what he would get just picking up the title now. I feel at this point they would not give Kane a Mania Title match, thus making it a worthless run again, if he were to get the belt. However, I guess I am just non-stop bitching because the belt is just pointless now. It is just an accessory, because HHH has held it most of the time it has been there and whoever is strong enought to beat him for it, he just gets it back from.

The "Games You Just Bought" Thread
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Matt Young's topic in Video Games
Last games I bought for myself were ESPN Basketball and XIII for PS2 and I bought for Christmas gifts Final Fantasy X, Max Payne and the new Spawn Game, all on PS2. -
it's a given that Stephanie starts backup on every track and as soon as it hits mid-song, she just takes over. She ain't singing no backup for good.

any chance of a bret hart dvd
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to slabinskia's topic in The WWE Folder
I think Bret fears that if they make one without him, half of the stuff will be involving the screwjob. Bret probably wants, and definately deserves one like Flair. Straight matches, maybe a little talking here and there. I think he feels, and may be true, without any say, Disc 3 would be called "The Screwjob" and cover Montreal plus his "Biggest WCW Blunders". -
That is one of the worst movies I have ever seen in my life. Very few scenes are actually done after he died, but they are very obvious. One bar scene is the exact same from the beginning just dubbed over.

What if Chris Benoit jumps on Raw tonight......
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
How do you think he got all his power? Oh, you mean, yeah... food... -
I love this game to. I shill it to all my friends who have yet to play it cause I've always liked Batman, but like it's been said, he's had more bad than good games. I remember always liking Batman Returns for SNES, but then again, it was the only Bats game I had for a while. I love this one though, I've played it (only partially though, haven't beaten it yet, haven't put in the time) by myself and with two different friends. Definately good fun.

I was just wondering if anyone from the board has played the Spawn game. I was out Christmas shopping and couldn't decide what to get a buddy of mine. I know most of the games he is getting for Christmas and this wasn't one of them, so I got this one. Is it any good? Worth it? Should I return it and get him something else? I was going between this, Alien vs. Predator: Extinction (our local rental places either never got it or went defective) or the new Fatal Frame II. Let me know if you have any opinions on how this game is.

Wrestlers getting beat by their own signature
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Lil' Bitch's topic in The WWE Folder
Somehow I doubt we'll ever see Trips being pinned by his own move again anytime soon. Just a hunch. maybe it'll be the only thing he can lose to, proving that it is such a devastating move that not even God himself could kick out of it. -
I think for all the pictures provided, Rudo deserves a badge... here's one

Rosa Parks to sue Outkast.
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Dr. Tyler; Captain America's topic in Music
No disrespect to Ms. Parks meant, but isn't it kinda funny that OutKast didn't get sued for this until they finally became the biggest they have been mainstream. I mean, I know they've had a couple popular songs in the past, but this went unnoticed so long until what seems like the peak of their popularity.
