As true as that can be, I don't think his recent heel run was stale at all... but it did just what his first real heel run did... get him even more over as a face, only this one was too brief.

It's rumored to be a buddy police show last I heard.

Want to own the WCW TV Title?

I think the cape/crown one is much better -
The 2002 Survivor Series
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in The WWE Folder
The sad thing was, Kidman was very over in WCW. He was pretty over during the Invasion also. The WWE fans loved RVD and to a lesser extent Kidman. However, he was paired against X-Pac at the time, but even after X-Pac, he was still over until he got injured. -

working at Blockbuster is not much better. 2 months before X-men 2, they were asking if we had it. A bunch of people rented X-men 1.5 convinced it was what happens in between 1 and 2. Tons of people, some lady called on some smaller title, asking why we didn't have it when she saw it in the theaters just last night. Working in a video store taught me there are many people I am surprised can function in the real world.

I was just at IMDB looking up to see if Minkus has done anything since Boy Meets World, for the heck of it and I remembered he was on another bad, old show. The Torkelsons. All I remember was it was a bunch of rednecks and I joked about it. He was Chuckie Lee Torkelson ::shudders::

If you need your Bronson Pinchot fix, I see he is in the movie Board Heads, a really horrible looking surf comedy released to video a couple weeks ago. But Minkus on the final high school... that's amazing! I want to see that now, I guess I missed that one.

I believe Walgreens is just getting in the WWF stuff that technically isn't supposed to be sold anymore (with the scratch logo).
-
I'm surprised it wasn't mentioned and I don't think I saw it, but I'd think Gail Kim would get listed as one of the biggest disappointments. She was hyped in everyway possible before entering and failed to live up to anything.

Not if you count Leave It To Beaver.... Wait, a second, <reads what I just wrote>... yes, I understand your point.

I hit a few different Walgreens and got: Unforgiven 2001 Summerslam 2001 Summerslam 1999 I have those in VHS, but decided to update to DVD for $2.50 apiece. I saw a bunch in VHS such as Funniest Moments, Best of RAW 3, Lita, Hardy Boyz: Leap of Faith, Before They Were Superstars among others. On DVD I also saw No Mercy 2001 (which I had spent $4.99 on at K-mart earlier in the day), Rebellion 2001, Hulk Still Rules, HHH: The Game, Rock: Just Bring It. The other thing I got, cause I couldn't pass it up for $1.50 was a VHS copy of Blacula.

What are some of the best music DVDs out there?
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to BifEverchad's topic in Television & Film
I haven't watched it all, but it's still pretty recent and I love it. Tenacious D - The Complete Masterworks. 2 Disc set with a concert, music videos and all their HBO sketches. Amazing. It isn't too pricey either. -
To You Power Ranger Marks

There was also the ghetto-rific Super Human Samari Cyber Squad, which was just that one guy. I think that was the one Matthew Lawrence was on.... -
aww, I never saw that, but I'll have to look it up. I only browse the music forums every once in a while...

I went to the Headbanger's Ball on Saturday Night and had a lot of fun. I wore a shirt of Shadows Fall today which no one had a clue who they were. I may not have known too much about them before Saturday either though, but I had a great time. The doors opened too slow and I missed the opening act of God Forbid. The other three bands rotate the headline and we got in order: God Forbid, Killswitch Engage, Lamb of God and Shadows Fall. I picked up a Killswitch shirt because they are awesome in concert. Anyone else catch one of these shows?

Man fuck that. A Zack/Screech feud is were the money's at. Remember when Zack starting dating Lisa and how Screech wanted to fight him? Of course, but I was trying not to spoil the proposed screw job!
-
You know, Dustin Diamond is a huge WWE mark. Haskins has the Goldberg connection. If the McMahon's need a month off from the grueling PPV schedule we could see that Belding/Screech feud we have all been dying to see.

Funny, that's exactly what I was thinking. With two interesting romantic stories going on at once, there's no way that you-know-who will be able to keep her fat arse in check. But then there will be a swerve and something that was overlooked in the contract. Vince will arrive and marry his daughter! First time on Television Father-Daughter Wedding! Tune In! Smell the Ratings!
-
Well, seeing Rhyno was the last one to wear the World and the TV and Vince doesn't seem too fond of him these days, maybe they will get Rhyno to deliever the belts door to door.

So who gets to job to the Cat next week?
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to cbacon's topic in The WWE Folder
Well, the logical choice to job to the Cat right now is John Cena. Can't have anyone breaking the mold. -
Dumbest...WWE/WWF DVD...Ever
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Elbarto997's topic in The WWE Folder
Slammy Awards were better than that. I mean, I hate to compare old to new, but to try to cover all the time they said they were going to and give things awards was outrageous. Calling TLC 4 the RAW match of the Decade was a slap in the face to all the fans who have been watching RAW all 10 years. There are so many matches that were not even nominated that blew that out of the water. I don't know what they were trying to get over awarding that match... but it was pointless. It wasn't a good match and no one really cared about it. -

WWE News From The Online Torch

I had thought about making a thread on Rey recently. When he first came in, he had some High Profile feuds and everything. The way he initially came in, he could have been a credible contendor for the title. Some still would've mentioned the size, but he was over enough and hot enough where he could have been in there. I don't remember entirely, I could be wrong, but he fared alright against Brock on the Halloween 2002 Smackdown. Rey was hot enough he could've been in the mix back then. Since his injury, he's gotten booked on a lesser extent and it would be really hard to get him back where he was. I could not see it working now, as much as I love Rey. When he first was hot and fresh, he could've been the little guy to break the mold, I think the ship has long sailed. As for PPVs, he has won on the Heats before, which are the same set. He beat Chavo before Unforgiven 2002 and Shannon Moore before Summerslam at least, maybe another one or two. -
Speaking of Zach, how much longer til we see a shirt for him with his intials spelled out with prosthetic legs?
