I definately remember the Simpsons episode and kinda want to see this now. It is on the first Twilight Zone DVD? Is it only available from Columbia House? -
3 million Chinese drink urine

Haha. No, I got you. I am not racist at all, but sometimes the difference in dialect makes things funny. I was at an amusement park once and was on one of those spinny rides that goes fast and fast and then reverses. The lady gets on the mike and said "Do you want to go faster?" which the combination of accent/microphone came across as "Do you want to grow fatter?" Still makes me laugh. -

BEST STORY EVER. -
Not exactly discovered because I knew a couple of their older songs, but with recently picking up the Freddy vs. Jason soundtrack and their new CD coming out last week, I've been on a bit of an Ill Nino kick lately. If anyone liked their song from FvJ (How Can I Live), it is on their CD, along with a Spanish version.. mu-ha. About the Killswitch Engage comment, yes, someone played some of them for me recently and they are really cool.

Right, the main case that was said the whole time was Blackman. Blackman was always due for a big push that fell out. When things started getting good for him, something always happened or was dropped. This is still one of the most debated drops along with G-TV, which was used to move this story too...

yeah, I got Jason X for 5 bucks. Worth it for the few scenes of humor. I want this now! I never saw any of their movies til this one, but I liked it a lot. I bought Jason X (got it at the right price) and the first Nightmare since, and I watched that Nightmare yesterday... good stuff. I originally heard February, but glad it may be sooner!

I rented Kracker Jack'd this week because I thought it looked like it had potential to be funny... if you are unfamiliar, the cover says it all... That's right... Whitebread Gone Bad... It did fill some cheesy funny, but at some points was so cheesy bad it was just tedious. On top of the fact it looks and often sounds like it was made with someone's home camcorder and they hired the first people they saw to be in the movie. What should I expect though? Just got done watching, I am lost, confused, scared and hungry... wanted to know if anyone else has had the pleasure of watching this, with such classic scenes as... Spoiler (Highlight to Read): One of the main characters who sings an awful lot, just randomly, is drown in the hot tub by Kracker Jack, waiting for his woman. She comes and wants him to eat her out, shows his head in her crotch to find out she is dead. She backs away scared til she flips him over and notices an erection, so she gives him a blow job which will later bring him back to life Classic....

I think the major problem is the bad announcer call. Manny DID NOT point at the A's. He pointed at his OWN dugout, in acknowledgement he finally got a hit after struggling all series... I wouldn't call acknowledging my own team hot dogging. The A's would've never had a problem making gestures should they won... but I don't think this matter will get settled.

I desperately want to see this series. I don't think the losing team would be as suicidal upset, because it is two teams under the same situation. Say it goes Cubs/Yankees and the Cubs lose, you bet they'll be extra mad. Could even say the same for Sox/Marlins. Long time BoSox fan, so I just hope this is finally their season and that they get there against the Cubs.

That site is amazing! Plus the fact as a three year old, he needs translation. I guess his parents figured he wouldn't need to speak properly if he is good at basketball

They used to tape whole matches just for video tape use at those tapings, along with several unused matches. I think the title change never showed completely, they showed chunks and had to tell everyone, but wasn't available to be seen in whole until the video release.

I don't really think he meant to offend either. That game had everyone on the edge of their seats. The whole last three games did. There was pure emotion in everyone. He got out of an extremely difficult situation to move on to another his team hasn't experienced in years. I don't think anyone would have realized what gesture they did when they won and I am sure he did not intentionally go for offended. Maybe some player could've but not Lowe. As for Ramieriez hot shotting, that is Tom Brenaman's call. I do not like Brenaman at all, having to listen to his national calls and his calls of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Manny slumped the whole series and finally hit like he usually does. He pointed to his own dugout in a finally manner and Tom switched around the context, making it seem like he was mocking the A's. He's been a pain in the BUTT this year, even to the point of frustrating "Mr. Nice Guy" Luis Gonzalez, who has gotten in very few ump spouts and nothing major. I may not be right either, I just wanted to throw in my opinions, but please, never say "Go Yankees", unless you are on some strange mind altering drug that you have no control over...

If they are gay cowboys, naturally every promo will begin with them on the set of an independent movie eating pudding.

One and Only HeAT Thread

I wonder what is going to happen with Coach/Snow now... I don't know if the heel commentating team will work with them just both doing Heat... although the few matches I watched on the RAW with them, it was only flashes in and out of heel, mostly being the same. -
Right, I bet they will do the box set, but like above, it takes about 5 months minimum for something to hit video. Some take a little longer (i.e. Lord of the Rings). The shortest amout of time I can remember something taking was recently Justin To Kelly came to theaters same day as Hulk, June 20 and then went to video on August 28th, same days as Lord of the Rings. That was 2 months and 8 days for a flop that lasted a week. Matrix set might make a nice Easter gift though.

Nintendos selling after price drop
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to The Ghost of bps21's topic in Video Games
The problem with Soul Calibur II is they didn't provide a cool enough character on PS2. I would've snatched it up in a heartbeat had PS2 gotten a character as cool as Link or Spawn, but we got the guy from Tekken. It's not a big deal or a very popular character. I don't know who else PS2 could've tied in, but X-box and Spawn isn't an automatic tie in either. I think that highly contributes to their poor sales. As for me, with the Gamecube being so cheap, I've thought about getting one a couple times, but with how little I play my PS2, I doubt I'd need another whole system to collect dust. No surprise they are selling well, just waiting to see what numbers/specials will happen come the holidays. -
All the Hardcore Champs toward the end had custom. I know Bradshaw (I'll never forget those horns...) and Dreamer for a fact. I believe Stamboli did as well.

WWE Superstar PPV Win Percentages As Of 9/03
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Enigma's topic in The WWE Folder
When were the Tough Enough 3 winners on PPV? Were they in the bar room brawl? -
When ECW closed, Rhyno had both belts. He had the TV belt, which I believe he won from Super Crazy and then got the World Title, which so many guys had it toward the end, it wasn't Credible, I'm thinking not even Lynn, I think he got it from Sandman. He got a shot after threatening his wife or something, won it and then the company closed.

I liked Nicholson in Management, being a Jack fan (especially of his comedies) and that I wasn't too fond of About Schmidt. This was my dream cast when Sandler was funny, but I agree, my favorite is Billy Madison with Happy Gilmore in a close second. Sandler I didn't think was that great when I saw this opening night in the theater, since watching it again, I thought he was a little better when I saw it another time. His movies just seem to be sub-par same jokes, same cast. That is part of the reason I kinda liked Punch-Drunk Love, but I know a lot of people HATE that one. His next projects, I don't know if they have potential. One is another romantic comedy with Drew Barrymore, I thought they had some chemistry during Wedding Singer, and this one has a quirk with like memory loss and stuff, so we'll see, but my "Sandler appeal" has fallen so much from the days where Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore were still pretty fresh... nothing can top those.
-
I saw it. I thought it started off a bit slow but took a liking toward it near the end. I gave it a chance and glad I did. Pretty solid cast, pretty good movie.

Finally saw this last night and I LOVED the ending. It was just so random. My friend and I were in tears laughing about how great that ending was and everyone else seemed pissed. It was a classic ending cause it came from out of the blue. I earned a couple heroes too: The monogloid with a mullet screaming PANCAKE! The deputy looking for partying and getting some riding a little bike The main character who wants to shoot squirrels "cause they're gay" and especially: "YEAH! He's a professor.... of BEING A DOG! FACE!"

What TV Series should come out on DVD next?
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to AboveAverage484's topic in Television & Film
I couldn't agree more with Daria. Especially with the sets of older audience cartoons, Daria would be a great choice. I guess it is on that GaS channel, which has all the cool old shows now. -
I kinda want to see it, but I am amused every time I see the commercial just because it's a horror movie with Rider Strong. All the rated R for (drugs, sex) I just think "No, not Shawn!" a la Boy Meets World and laugh... then again, I am a dork. It just always amuses me when people from children's shows jump into a movie like this...
