Gowen actually wore his shirt on Smackdown. I thought he had his own shirt, now it's confirmed. I am kinda curious to see how the Cena lock is in person... if it is like a real Masterlock or some cheap piece of plastic or what...

I went with my friend when he went to get his today. I kept telling myself I will wait and just caved in. Glad I did though. As for seasons and episodes, this was the final release. 3 seasons total. First box set has the 7 episode long season one and the 21 episodes of season two. The new set today had the third and final season, all 21 episodes plus 1 never aired episode. That makes a grand total of 50 episodes.

I like Andrew, but I just see how all of these go. Korn had a really loyal following up until they became TRL darlings. Some Korn fans were happy to see their band finally get some air on a teeny boppy based show, but soon everything was about that "TRL" group and they were always showing up. The loyal fanbase started to hate them for "toning down" and turning to the MTV audience and soon the MTVers forgot about them. I'm not sure on the numbers of their recent album, and they've popped up a bit again, but they lost several loyal fans for many that don't care about them anymore. Limp Bizkit was pretty similar, except they were still on the first album during their "TRL Debut", so they never established a whole following.

They carry it at Blockbuster. I saw one today, at least VHS version. I don't know much about DragonBallZ, but I did see it. Most BBV have a Kids New Release, either at beginning or end of the New Release wall and it's in that section.

I recently found my love for Family Guy with the box set, but I have no clue how Fox can even have the right to hate a show with half the crap they put on. Although I guess it isn't allowed to get network love, because it doesn't include "LIVE ANIMALS -GONE DEAD!"

Whether or not everyone appreciated who the killer was, I would think most would appreciate the fact that they at least tried to twist you to the end. A couple times when you thought it was solved, it wasn't. And it wasn't totall "resolved" until the credits began to roll. At least, that's how I felt, maybe others didn't.

I was at Summerslam. I had no clue where that came from. I saw Coachman and I was shocked. Granted, not much shocks me wrestling wise these days, but I was too confused to appreciate. I didn't know why Coach would turn. My focus wasn't on the match. For the remainder I just would look back and forth at the people I was with and say "What the hell?" I guess they accomplished what they were going for... it made no sense, but turned out alright, I guess, but no need for the PPV match. I was happy about Brand Only PPVs cause I thought my favorites like Hurricane would finally make a PPV, so guys like Christian would be on the show NO DOUBT, rather than questioning if he could make the cut this show. The only thing the brand only PPVs have proven is they feel they need to fill a slot with at least one non-wrestling match. That's the streak. It happened at Bad Blood, it happened twice at Vengeance, they even carried it over to the mixed brand Summerslam and now it will happen for the FOURTH STRAIGHT PPV with Unforgiven. I am almost positive that it will happen at No Mercy, along with the Survivor Series rumors. In fact, looking at that, that will mean at every show this year except Backlash, a competition of non-wrestlers will have taken away one match, from cards that are supposed to "expand the wrestling", with Armaggedon still pending: Rumble: Dawn Marie fights Torrie No Way Out: BISCHOFF vs. Austin Wrestlemania: Vince/Hogan plus Tag Team is cut for Cat fight Backlash: One skips Judgement Day: Bikini Challenge Bad Blood: Triathalon Vengeance: 2/3 McMahon Main Event Summerslam: Bischoff/Shane Unforgiven: JR/Coach at least, probably Shane Survivor: Proposed Match (in case people would think spoiler) That is way too many. It was interesting once in a while, such as St. Valentine's Day Massacre, people wanted to see Vince get his ass beat. It's nothing new anymore... stop wasting showtime.

Welcome to the land of WWE
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to LooseCannon25's topic in The WWE Folder
That's exactly what I was thinking. When the whole Testicle thing first started, he was starting to get over... they squashed it... then he turned heel, started to get over and they stomped all over it. A-Train's had maybe one or two of his several work, only to get shot down. It's a matter of even when WWE gets someone over these days, they squash it too soon. Most top stars these days seem to get over by accident. -
Tentative Survivor Series Matches...
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Use Your Illusion's topic in The WWE Folder
It might be interesting, I want to see Taker leave in his old gimmick, but that gives me such vibes of the 94 Rumble. If we hear news of the WWE re-signing Marty Jannety.... -
Dr. Claw's face revealed!
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to MarvinisaLunatic's topic in Video Games
And I thought the movie's version was disappointing.... Well, I still think the movie's is disappointing... -
I kinda want to go pick up Drumline and Scooby Doo. <ducks rotten vegatables> Those are kinda guilty pleasure, still somewhat new/recent movies at a price not to feel bad about. I don't know what the other one would be. Maybe get like Just Married or something for the heck of it.

Isn't Coach from Alabama? I know they found him on some southern sports station, I was thinking he was from Alabama... although I doubt we have a Coach mark to page on this....

Banging on a trash can... drummin' on a street light, playing with my ban-jo! Had to mark out for all the Doug songs, and add one more classic.

I love all the WCW/NWA match listings being given, but odds are, a lot will be cut. Hopefully with this one, they won't really duplicate others that will be on the disc. The main WWF/E ones I want are the Savage/Flair from WM and the Rumble would be cool. I am pretty certain the HHH one will be on there, which I won't mind too much, because I missed that RAW and the "after party" could be a nice extra, however on a career recap of Flair, it doesn't fit. I would put money that they will probably put the Taker match too, the only thing making me think otherwise is logo-blurring. They didn't have to deal with that on HBK because his last match before WWE on that disc is pre-scratch logo. I sure hope it's heavy WCW/NWA, however, I still doubt it will. It will most likely be "equal". I would also like that Loser Leaves Town though, for WWE purposes, maybe where he puts Bret over for Bret's first title, but most likely not.

If I remember right there were a couple points where ECW wanted to put the belt on Van Dam, but he told them no. I believe I read in an interview with him a while back (while ECW was still open), he didn't want the belt because he still felt he was young and after that, there wouldn't be much to do. Then like others said, by the time it was set, injuries happened and the company was going under...

Bret Hart or HBK who would you pick?
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to a topic in General Wrestling
As a better wrestler, I would pick Bret. If this was heyday, and it was to say, start a promotion, I may lean more towards HBK. I've always been a huge fan of both and one of the few that did not side after the screwjob (mainly cause I had fallen out of wrestling for a little while during that fiasco). I say HBK because they are both good in the ring, but I lean a little more toward HBK on the mic. Bret wasn't horrid on the mic, I just prefer HBK. Same with playing face/heel, Shawn is easily convincing as both. Bret can be a convincing heel, but he is always one of those guys you see as a face. Starting a company HBK (minus politics). -
I kinda hope a Flair/Funk match shows up, because I wanted to see one of those, I forget which was supposed to be better. This seems realistic, although minus Vader, who the WWE was never high on anyway, but I don't trust the source just yet. As for the Charlie Minn kid, even if it was true... WHY?

Cool, thanks. I wasn't sure because my friend was getting something for playing the Two Towers game, but now I am unsure of if that was when we were playing the NCAA or Tiger 2003. Thanks for the help.

I recently picked up the NCAA Football 2004. For some reason though, in my EA Sports Bio, it isn't picking up any of the other EA games on my memory card. I was playing the same game with my friend the other day and it picked up a couple other EA Games, including Lord of the Rings, to contribute and give him things for the game. I have several EA games on the Memory Card, however, none of them picked up. I was wondering if I had to play some again to get them to show up, so I played some Def Jam Vendetta, Triple Play 2002 and NHL 2002 and advanced, yet still, nothing but NCAA 2004 is showing in my bio. Has anyone else had this problem? How can you get the other EA games to appear and get credit for them?

Worst Butchering of a Movie on TV
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to NYU's topic in Television & Film
One I've mentioned before is ruining one of my all time favorites lines in American cinema. In the movie Half Baked, when presented on Comedy Central, when all of the guys are asked what they want from the store, Dave Chapelle's classic line is changed from "A box of condoms and, what's the stuff... we used to eat it all the time... oh yeah, pussy!" to "A box of condoms and, what's the stuff... we used to eat it all the time... oh yeah, pudding!" It was pretty sad, yet funny at the same time. I remember one presentation of the Mask, I believe on Fox or ABC a few years back, where the censoring would tend to come late, with such lines as "They'd come crawling out of my as-- BUTT!" Completely different voice bursting out the word half way through the word. I noticed all the underwear threads. After watching my Saving Silverman DVD and Comedy Central is running all the previews, Steve Zahn has on underwear when he is practicing the yoga book. The scene doesn't really make sense with the underwear on, I mean, even on the PG-13 rated version he has none, but, whatever. The main thing is he didn't even show crack or anything... it was just a side view... but it changes what is happening. -
Yep, it's only Undertaker in his fighting stance like the poster. As for Summerslam, I don't think they'll put Sable on the cover when all she did was accompany A-Train to the ring. I figure they'll put the Elimination Chamber and maybe Angle & Brock. I agree. I was at Summerslam and they had t-shirts that were new logos. Actually got one. One side had Brock and Kurt Face to Face with the Summerslam logo and the other had all 6 members of the Chamber's faces around the Chamber I believe.

I saw this movie and thought it was very well done also. I wanted to see it in theaters, but never got around to it. Then, the incident and the awards made him seem a little nuts, but I got the movie anyway and was glad. I really enjoyed it. I watched the part where he talks about his speech and says it wasn't everyone booing him, it was the people cheering him booing the booers, which makes him seem even more nuts, but he did make a very good film with some very good points.

Austin/Bischoff present Unforgiven 2003
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
I am thinking that they will make the tag title feud stretch even longer and have a 6 man, with La Res/Conway vs. Dudleys (including Spike). It seemed like they are building that way from Summerslam, however I missed last night's RAW. Just a guess. Plus, there aren't really too many tag teams, so it would pro-long the already stale feud. EDIT: Just saw they did that on RAW last night, although maybe they'll pull it again with a gimmick. -
Dane Cook: Harmful if Swallowed
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to Ravenbomb's topic in Television & Film
My friend has it. I haven't heard the CD, but the DVD is his Comedy Central Presents special uncensored. If you liked that, it'd probably be worth it. I don't know if you knew that or not, but that's what I know. -
Short lived TV shows no one seems to remember
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to King Kamala's topic in Television & Film
I know probably most people here will know it, but a lot of people I've talked to never knew of the Animated Clerks show. I loved that show. All six episodes (if you got the DVD set, I think some never aired) were great. I wish some more came out of these. I actually saw the cartoons before I ever got time to sit and watch the movie, but both are great in their own ways. I wish there had been more Clerks Animated though.
