seeing people are doing challenges, how about a little more difficult... BEST OF RIKISHI! Okay, there probably won't be much, but if someone can actually come up with one, one should be a Headshrinkers vs. Quebeccers!

That's exactly what I was thinking! It would be great! "Do you, yes, you, over, there, you have the golden, ticket?"

Mark Jindrak joining HHH,Flair and Orton
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
well, around that time is when they started making the change, because common fans could get confused easily (even though these men looked nothing alike, although it could've been for JR and the Benoit/Jericho confusion). At that time is when Steven Regal came back as William Regal. And remember "Sugar" Shane Helms leaving WCW the Cruiserweight Champion to show up as WCW Cruiserweight Champion Gregory Helms, as not to get confused with his boss, Shane McMahon? At least it shortly led to the Hurricane gimmick, which as much as I love Helms, he may not still be around if it wasn't for... -
FOX had another too, along with having the original Malcom. It is a combination of Malcom meets Wonder Years. I forget the name, but the kid's older brother was the youngest Lawrence, Andy. It was... different.... I saw that Charlie Lawrence pilot too. The first episode wasn't that great, it could've had potential, but I don't even remember it even hitting air. Actually, most of the shows they plugged that day I don't remember hitting air. A few did, but I don't remember many for sure.

Mick Foley's home destroyed by a fire...
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
Well, Kane does have a new mean streak.... In all seriousness though, like everyone's been saying, at least no one was there. It seems like everyone and everything should be alright without being there in 3 years. Hopefully, all the hassle work and insurance won't be too bad. -
Dave Chapelle and Stand up fans, get ready
LivingLegendGaryColeman posted a topic in Television & Film
I was in work today and we were doing shipment. I saw we got a new Platinum Series DVD. I've seen the Cedric the Entertainer presents, which was kind of funny, but not much of Cedric and I know there is a Steve Harvey, among others. I looked and I saw it was Dave Chapelle! Dave Chapelle is one of my favorites, so I snatched it to rent. Upon looking closer it turns out it is his "Killing Them Softly" special, which I hear is one of the funniest stand ups ever. I hadn't heard anything about this, so I didn't know if anyone else knew. This seems like a definate pick up for me, I am going to watch it soon. BTW, its actual release for rental and sale is July 15th, not this Tuesday, but the next one. -
Lilo and Stitch already has a direct to video sequel coming out in a few months. It's called Stitch: The Movie. The new "Brother Bear" movie they have coming out Thanksgiving might be alright, but everyone knows they are probably already developing a straight to video sequel of it.... especially since it looks like a sequel would make no sense.

Walter Jones was also on "The Shield" during it's first season, where he played a drug dealer who was being protected by the Vic Mackey character who ended up getting killed by another drug dealer on orders from Vic after his character shot up a bunch of Nation of Islam members and threatened to expose Vic as a crooked cop when Vic refused to clean up said incident for him... I also remember watching him on Nickelodean's Space Cases back in the day... a little while after he left the Power Rangers.

So I was in work today and going through shipment. I was processing all the new sell-thru DVDs when I come across one. It was the 2-Disc Special Edition of "The Doors". I had heard great things about this movie and seen some parts on TV which made it interesting. I scanned it to see the price so I could sticker it. It came up for $9.99. I scanned it again. Same thing. It's list price was $35, but we wanted $9.99, plus I get a 20% discount. I figured for a movie that's supposed to be really good in a two disc special edition, $7.99 brand new was a really good price. So I picked it up. Was this a good deal? Is there a better version coming out? What is everyone's opinion on this pick up and movie in general?

I mark for JB and with Walken and Stiller, it'll be great. I am not sure when it opens, but this is one I'd try to catch opening day.

I got NHL 2002 yesterday. I know, sounds old, but I got a brand new copy from Sears for $5. So I figured I'd get it, don't have a hockey game, even if it's old, EA games are usually the best franchise.

I wholeheartedly agree with Taker needing to job to Cena. Definately want to see that happen. As for the Wrestlemania job, as much as he needs to job the rest of the year, I rather see him go undefeated at Wrestlemania. It takes some of the fun out of the match, but that is kind of a "legacy" streak and although it is a pre-determined legacy, we don't get to see many things like that anymore. Any dignity or prestige to titles are pretty much non-existant, so for the next couple years, the last few (hopefully), it'll be something cool and "important". Plus, it's a goal for "up and comers" and could be used for a good angle going into WMXX. But, seeing this is just Vengeance and Smackdown needs a heel, job him to Cena, make Cena famous in a better way than the previously mentioned "Wedgie-Bomb".

Ashton as Batman: An update, if you care...
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to a topic in Television & Film
I wouldn't mind "Kelso" as much if this was going to be Batman Year One. It'd still be odd, but it'd be better than what they are attempting now, cause they need someone younger, what the heck, cut his hair and try to make him work, maybe... maybe I so wish a Green Lantern would be done. This is one I feel would transition well. If there is any unused DC property, I feel Lantern or Flash would be best. Some of the other "well knowns" I doubt would do as well, such as Aquaman or Green Arrow. Does anyone see a future in maybe a Lobo movie? I saw recently they are making a Lobo video game to be released in 2004... -
I remember seeing a Rock comic in the store once. One shot title, along the lines of Chyna's

South Park creators to make Thunderbirds spoof
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to a topic in Television & Film
This is going to be funny. I love how Parker and Stone just love to piss people off. It makes it even funnier. -
Exactly what I was thinking. I enjoyed the movie. I am one to see very few horror movies. I wasn't sure going in, but I went with a big group of friends. I enjoyed it. It was different and pretty good. The ending will kinda just leave you hanging though. Everyone in the theater pretty much had a "What the hell?" reaction when it ended.

I've seen all sorts of dumb things in wrestling
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to a topic in General Wrestling
I have the Piledriver Collesium Video also. I think mine has a price higher than $19.95, I'll have to look. I got it off of Ebay a couple years back. Awesome video. can't go wrong with Jive Soul Bro. -
Scott Steiner will be seen paying old ladies money outside of the restroom.

PA RAPPA THE RAPPA 2! Alright, that might sound like a joke, but I got it pretty cheap and it's pretty fun, so if it's cheap, maybe take a look at it. Another good game that is pretty cheap now is Spider-man. If you like Spider-man, anything about the comic, movie, this game is now only $20 at most stores. I think a lot of people beat me to the better ones above, except a couple which I've only played briefly but seemed really cool in "The Getaway" and "Medal of Honor:Frontline" Just trying to put some input on some other good ones, although most of the above you can't go wrong with.

What's a movie that you expected to be horrible and ended up not minding as much or really liking? Something you went into thinking it would be horrible and ended up being alright. For me, one I thought would be bad which I thought was okay in the end was Like Mike, as I mentioned in the Rapper/Actor thread. Other honorable mentions for this for me are Time Machine and Reign of Fire. Wasn't expecting anything from either and ended up being alright. Something that was good that I wasn't sure of was Transporter. I get to see movies in advance with connections to a movie store, so I rented Transporter in advance thinking for the heck of it and ended up really enjoying it. I still can't remember ever seeing anything for it when it was out in the theater, which is really strange. Anything that surprised you by being good or at least more watchable than you thought?

Nash Pushing To Be 4th Member Of Evolution
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
I thought the point of Evolution was with the legend Flair as their leader, they were going to Evolve the business, they were going to be the future of the business, with the man there (HHH) and two that would be (Batista and Orton). I would like Jindrak in the role because that makes sense. Even when people talked RVD or even Kane in the role, it somewhat made sense. NASH?! He can't evolve the business, he needs to retire and (hopefully) will soon. Nash in the Evolution wouldn't work. And if Nash did evolve this business... it would be a sad day for those who have the capacity to move.... -
The Worst part of the unmasking to me
LivingLegendGaryColeman replied to LooseCannon25's topic in The WWE Folder
The more I'm thinking about it, the more I am hoping Kane is repackaged in a Sasquatch gimmick.
