Don't give them ideas... they're still working out the details for Monday's RAW.

Hey, I work at Walgreens... *prays Frank_Nabbit doesn't live anywhere near the store I work at*

Don't forget Jeff Hardy's fatality... he kills his opponents by making them watch matches of himself.

I marked out... I honestly thought JJ was going to retain, Rhino winning the title (or even the Gauntlet) was a huge shock, but hey, at least we didn't have AJ/Jarrett AGAIN. That's what I thought was going to happen.

*reads title* But the real question is... have Brock's Jedi skills progressed far enough for him to take on the Dark Lord of the Sith and win? I mean really, the "Verdict" is powerful and all... but it pales in comparison to the power of the Dark side.

That's more WWE in general though, not just SmackDown.

Or even better, King of the Ring!

I started watching WW(F)E in early 2002. That being said, I've missed a lot, but have been able to catch up through the magic of VHS and DVD, in addition to what I can find on the 'net. Now, watching stuff from early 98 - late 99/early 2000, it seems like X-Pac is one of the most over guys on the roster... and yet, by 2001 and 2002, he's hated by the fans, and the term "X-pac heat" that I've heard so much about (the get off my TV, you suck kind) followed him around until his WWE dismissal in 2002. So, I gotta know... what happened? What could have changed between 1999 and 2002 that made the fans turn on X-Pac so badly?

I missed that part... when did they give away the main event? What was said?

On the plus side, it seems Mr. Bearer has lost some weight, which is a good thing. That, and he finally managed to get out of that block of concrete.

Nothing changed. Which is exactly the problem. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Bingo. Edge's classic promo about him was completely correct. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Never heard that one, anyone got a transcript?

Decisions, decisions... man, as much as I want Mankind again, I REALLY think we need to see Dude Love one more time. The Dudester's got my vote.

If I can get the adapter thing, I'll join (or try to, anyways.)

I was at the mall and stumbled upon all four of the recently released DVDs at Sam Goody (AJ, X Div, Hardy, Raven) and though they were 24.99 each (fugging SG, jacking up the damn prices a million percent) I picked up the Raven DVD, and since I never got to order any of the weekly PPVs, all this is new to me and I am loving it. It's just too bad they don't have Raven's title win on there, it only goes through his match with Sabu.

I'm starting a "Haas for NWA Champion" campaign. Just watch Charlie Haas going on to become TNA's Stone Cold (ala the guy the 'e' let get away, only to become their competition's biggest star) I've always been a Haas mark, but if/when he comes to TNA, I'll be even more of one.

I was pissed that Triple H lost, I was a mark for face Triple H, I don't care what anybody says. This was before I knew about all the backstage politics too, so what're ya gonna do?

What was the real reasoning behind the IC title 02
David Blazenwing replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in General Wrestling
I'm lucky I started watching WWE in 2002 (right after WM X8)... I had no idea what I was watching was crap! Lol! Still, I've been entertained by most of what WWE has put out since then, with a few exceptions (the first half of 2003 on RAW, any PPV with the words "Great", "American" or "Bash" in the title, Hogan limping through boring matches (Summerslam excluded, that one was actually good) while guys like Shelton Benjamin aren't even on the card, Hassan getting a raw deal, etc.) -
I like Raven, and I can understand where he's coming from. Personally I don't blame the guy, but can understand the arguments on both sides. Hey, at least he's not as big a dick to the fans as Test (or so I've heard).
-
What about Unforgiven 2002? I remember it was like a week before the PPV and the ONLY matches that had been announced were the two World title matches (RVD/HHH and Brock/Taker I).
-
LMFAO! I like Jarrett a lot more after reading that.

Jim Ross possibly leaving RAW announce team
David Blazenwing replied to Enigma's topic in The WWE Folder
DDP!!! I read somewhere that they offered him a commentator's position in 2002 when he first retired, and he rejected it b/c "it'd be too hard to be there and not be out there doing it" or something... anyways, can you imagine a commentary team of Coach, King and DDP? As long as they don't bring in Tony Schiavone, I don't care. I hate that guy with an f'ing passion. -
What Happened To The Mexicools?

They're Velocity fodder now, and the last time I checked, were getting over as faces feuding with Ninzio and Vito. EDIT: Or Nunzio even.
