Jericho and Benoit have had some damn good matches as well. The ladder match from the 2001 Royal Rumble is still one of my favorite matches.

Get rid of it all and bring back King of the Ring. I command it.

Bring it to Milwaukee. Miller Park or the Bradley Center (or even the US Cellular Arena) would be a great place for WM. Even Chi-Town wouldn't be bad... drive an hour to see WrestleMania live? I'd SO do it.

It's hard to find any pre-2003 WWE dvd releases around here (Milwaukee) without getting lucky... there's one place I go where I've picked up several used 2001-2002 dvds, but brand new, they only have end of 2003-2004 shows and specials. As far as favorites go, though, I gotta go with Triple H: The Game. I liked it and it's still one of the few wwe dvds I've watched more than once. It's a pretty good feature if you ignore all the stupid backstage crap he pulls IRL.

I totally got the "JBL is retaining" vibe after this last week's SmackDown... with the fact that JBL was made out to be all three men's bitch, not to mention all the "screwing" of JBL by Teddy Long (now THERE'S a mental image for ya) going into the match itself, I can totally see JBL retaining, which is exactly why I'm not ordering this month. Although, if I HAD to pick one of the three to win, it'd have to be The Undertaker, just because I'm nostalgic for one final UT title reign. And one other thing... for whatever reason, I'm calling it now that the Fatal 4 Way WILL be made into a no-DQ match before the match takes place. Just a feeling.

TECHNICALLY... Triple H defeated Undertaker (due to Brock Lesnar's interference) a week prior to this in a #1 contender's match for the then-Undisputed title (which became SD! exclusive at the end of RAW when Lesnar left with Steph in a limo) so in all actuality, Triple H wasn't just handed the title on a whim, he did earn the #1 contender's spot. Mind you, I'm not defending in any way the decision to just give Trips the belt, but it wasn't just out of the blue, he was the earned #1 contender to the belt.

Alright, now I'm sure you guys will all think I'm insane, but I was talking with some fellow smarks at work yesterday and we came upon a conclusion to this battle royal... Chris Jericho will win the World Title. No, no wait... hear me out. Alright, well, we know Jericho is the last GM, right? What I think will happen is that it will come down to Triple H and Jericho. Triple H will get the upper hand, then out comes Orton, Benoit, Maven and maybe some assorted other faces. They all get in the ring and go after Triple H. Evolution comes down to the ring and goes after Jericho, trying to eliminate him. Somehow in the struggle, Triple H gets Jericho up against the ropes, then starts eliminating him. Batista, trying to "help", goes for his sick clothesline to eliminate Jericho himself, but Jericho ducks and Triple H eats the Clothseline of doom, sending him over the top rope and to the floor. This way, Jericho gets a short title run (he's arguably one of the most over faces in the company right now), Batista's split with Evolution begins, Triple H gets to leave and do press for Blade Trinity (which comes out next month) and then gets to return in time for the January New Year's Revolution PPV, where he can win the title back from Jericho, raise his title count up one more, and start the feud against Orton for WrestleMania.

I'm still waiting for the X-Pac/Chyna sex tape joke.

I'm calling it now that the WWE title match is mid-show like in 2002.

All I know is it's coming out on 11/16 and it's an entrance music CD (possibly WWE The Music Vol. 6). What I WANT to know is whose themes will be on it? The only ones I've heard so far are Evolution's theme, Orton's theme and Eddie's theme. Anyone know where to find any info?

What happened with Pierce Brosnan as 007? I thought he played the part really well. They only made, what, four movies with him as Bond?

Rico was one of the only reasons I watched SD!... his antics always got a genuine laugh out of me, and my parents even loved watching him (and they hate wrestling with a passion) I was pissed about Stamboli getting fired, but not shocked... but Rico... damn... Same here. Lucky for me I have mine pre-ordered at EB (right across the street from the Wal*Mart, no less) and they said the same thing they told bigM350, in tonight at 7 pm (actually the guy there told me sometime between 6 and 7, though it will probably be closer to 7).

I don't at all. He let himself become a doormat in the company, and to compensate has become an asshole. You could see it coming a mile away. Why does that have to be the natural outcome though? He doesn't HAVE to hold others down, he CHOOSES to.

How so? I thought he was trying way too hard to be an asshole.
