1000 Reasons why Late Night with Conan O'Brien
David Blazenwing replied to The Mandarin's topic in Television & Film
362. Don't know if it's been mentioned... but Vomiting Kermit the Frog. -
At least they're not doing six man electrified barbed wire blood chamber of death matches. I'm looking at you, TNA.

My money is on "the snake from TNA came back".

When Was The Last Time You Were Surprised By A Match Finish?
David Blazenwing replied to Chazz's topic in The WWE Folder
Fake Kane going over real Kane at last year's Vengeance. Only for real Kane to grab fake Kane's mask and kick him out of the arena (and apparently his life) forever shortly thereafter (the next night on Raw, I think). Really, what WAS the point of that whole angle? -
That is gold.

Ha ha... I want that action figure. -
Let's talk about John Cena.
David Blazenwing replied to Open the Muggy Gate's topic in The WWE Folder
I agree with the sentiment of "I like Cena, but I'm sick of him being Champion." Cena's fine, he just needs to share the spotlight title-wise. A story where he's chasing the champ and not "overcoming the odds YET again" would be a fresh turn of events IMO. -

The origins of the Vince angle
David Blazenwing replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
This is the first time I've watched two consecutive RAWs since before last year's Survivor Series. Only watched last week b/c of the draft, and the ending had me interested (again, first time in a long time) in what was going to happen this week. -
I'm still waiting for him to randomly reappear on TV and say "ha, you all hated me before, but when you thought I died, your tune changed, guess you really do appreciate me after all" or some BS that leads to one or two wrestlers still hating Vince after he'd died, and creating a storyline/angle. My best guess, the storyline will replace the figurehead of the company, slowly dissipate until it's forgotten, then Vince will show up on TV a year and a half from now and everyone will act like nothing had happened. (Another thought I had while typing this, who's to say this isn't some stupid ego thing for McMahon either, ala "not even death itself can stop me!" or some more BS like that...)

Maybe they're trying to make Spike sweat... kinda turn around and say "we have options, but we'll stay if you give us a two hour time slot."
-
He's on RAW though. I think, anyways.

Street Fighter is the best movie ever.
David Blazenwing replied to Star Ocean 3's topic in Television & Film
I think I may be the only person in the world who liked MK: Annihilation. I'm looking forward to the third one when (or hell, if) it comes out. -
TNA Impact Spoilers (First Hour Spoilers now up)
David Blazenwing replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in TNA Wrestling
Couldn't have said it better myself. TNA was great up until Bound for Glory 2006, and after that, it just fell apart. -
Quoted for emphasis and agreement.
-
TNA should tape their PPVs on a 20 minute delay or something, and give themselves time to edit things before it airs.

Doesn't that happen with all playboy cover girls? I mean, where they talk about them getting attitudes after the shoot? Torrie appears to have gotten past it, but I do recall some comments about her having an attitude after her first shoot. The only diva I don't recall hearing anything like that about is Candice Michelle.

That's why I stopped playing Halo 2 against anybody but my closest friends. Too many "serious" players, better than I am. Not much of a FPS fan, but it's still no fun getting WTFPWNED in one of the few FPS series I do enjoy. At least with IRL friends, they go easy on noobs like me.

It's confusing to figure out how to sort everything in the folders. Took me a while, but I eventually managed to get full videos on there. That being said, the last time I added a movie (or really even played my PSP) was months ago, and don't remember how to do it off the top of my head. Google it, that's what I did. Eventually you'll stumble across a site or two that explains how to install.

This was covered in the latest issue of Game Informer. According to the game's creator, the game is not about morbidity and shock value, but about putting the player into the position of the shooters and making them live out the events of the shooting to give it a more personal meaning to said player. It's not the "zomg go and shoot all the kids and enjoy it" GTA-fest that people are making it out to be.

That's the jist of it right there. I think.

More greatness from Lance Storm
David Blazenwing replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in TNA Wrestling
That would be the greatest thing ever. Well, besides TNA actually getting their act together, anyways. *agrees with Lance Storm on how to book Impact* -
I've never been scared by a wrestler, per se (having only been a fan since 2002, when I was 16) but I do recall feeling concerned after a) Shane McMahon kicking Kane into a flaming dumpster on raw in 2003 and b) Big Show chokeslamming Kurt Angle off the balcony in 2004, leading to his "injury" I realized they were both fake, and even did at the time, but right when it happened, my first thought was "holy shit..." Then of course, I just wanted to see how they explained it come next week. Kane had a bandaid. Angle had a fake cast. Yay, continuity!

NoWay Out 2007 promo and WWE's production value
David Blazenwing replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
And they make top notch DVDs, which that department has a hand in too, I'm sure.
