I really miss Tajiri and his presence on WWE TV. He'd make a great addition to the upper card on ECW. I'd really enjoy seeing him against Punk, Morrison and Burke.

I'm pretty excited for the event, having a bit of a get together. As it stands there will be about eight of us watching. Going to do the usual of ordering in some pizzas, getting lots of junk food and make a real night of it. Most of my friends that are coming aren't huge fans or anything but are coming because it'll be a fun little get together. They've all showed some level of interest in the past so hopefully everyone should enjoy. There's enough going on to keep a hold of their attention be it the high spot MITB, or nostalgia in the vein that everyone knows Undertaker and the like. Will be fun.

ROH 2/22 (Deer Park) and 2/23 (NYC-6th Year Anniversary)

It makes me sad to see AOTF so far from the Tag Team Titles at the moment. Looks like Steen & Generico are next in line for a shot. Whilst AOTF are fairly consistent in their winning ways it doesn't look like they're being positioned for a rematch for the titles in the immediate future. Sounds like good news in regards to moving to the Hammerstein. What is it, double the size of the current venue? -

ROH 2/22 (Deer Park) and 2/23 (NYC-6th Year Anniversary)

It's intresting to see them bringing the MCMG in again, even if it's just for a double shot. I always thought it was a real shame Shelley never got to live up to his potential in ROH, be it in GenNext or The Embassy his sporadic appearances and injuries always meant that he never won the big one. I'm a mark for both Sabin and Shelley so look forward to seeing them back in ROH. -
One of the girls I live with has a pet rat, I say it's hers but we all look after him, just when we go home for Christmas/Summer she takes him with her. He's called Ivanhoe (the Terrible.) We've had him a couple of years now. We took him off the hands of some kid that was moving into a new place and couldn't have pets and was hypothesising on the best way to kill it. We weren't about to let that happen so we become the proud owners of a pet rat. He's got a brilliant temprement. We have a lot of people over to the house and everyone always loves him, even those that don't normally like rodents. Sorry to hear about the passing of Splinter.

Maximo Park in Cardiff a while back. They were supported by Art Brut who are clearly good news, all of Maximo Park's stuff just blended together to form one hour long wall of bland.

I hardly ever use a razor and shave properly. For about two years now I've been using a beard trimmer to keep it all at a not too ridiculous length. I keep my neck area clean via the trimmer minus any attachments. Only problem is being pretty fair haired some of the old face hair comes through blonde, some through dark. The moustache area is one of the blonde problem areas so unless your're standing pretty close it looks like it doesn't exist.

Stolen from the ROHBoards The big news seems to be Stevens getting a clean victory over Aries. Aries has been on a real tear these last few months, it doesn't seem right for Stevens to be able to beat him in my mind.

I really enjoyed Kazarians cup of coffee in WWE. The offence his was getting in was better than any of other smaller guys in WWE at the time (other than Rey) were using. Thinking about it makes me miss Velocity. Anyway, lets look on the brightside, no one will have to see Chris Harris in any sort of televised wrestling match for at least a few months if this is true.

CHIKARA King of Trios (February 29, March 1, March 2)
Garth replied to LucharesuFan619's topic in General Wrestling
Character wise the Kartel are a couple of mouthy cockneys. They do it pretty well and come across as throughly charismatic. I've seen them on a couple of small shows in Cardiff and they've invariably been the highlight of the shows, throughly engaging the crowd. Style wise from what I recall Terry has a judo background and is fairly small, does a bit of flying. Sha is the much bigger of the team, has a bit of a power game. Style wise nothing else really jumps out at me as it's been about 6 months since I last saw them. Each of the times I've seen them though they've usually been my favorite part of the show. -

The British represntitives have been announced as: Martin Stone, & The Kartel (Sha Samuels and Terry Frazier.) These three men have been my favorite Brits to watch in the last couple of years and I'm really glad they're being given an opportunity stateside. Some might recognise the names from PWG's most recent European Vacation, all three competed on the British leg of the tour. -
In regards to the Benoit situation, it seems like a sensible idea. I for one am not for revising WWE's history to make it look like he never existed in the context of the shows. But I can understand that it still might make people uncomfortable to have him on the best of type releases. Maybe in a year or so, when things have cooled down as much as they possibly can then start using him in that capacity again. It's a real shame though that the Benoit/Austin rivalry won't be making it to DVD.

The new albums from;Hot Chip, Eagles of Death Metal and The Raconteurs will all definitely be picked up and given a listen.

As far as I'm aware he didn't quit, rather he's just let his contract expire and has opted not to renew.

Already Posted Here Also, Adam Pearce is still the NWA Champion. Not certain about what defenses he has made of it though.

Enjoyed this show top to bottom. May have been the best two hours of wrestling I've seen in a long, long time. Before watching this I'd never seen Stevens wrestle, he throughly impressed. I'm glad ROH aren't dropping him and he's having his match with Aries soon. A strong showing there could do wonders. The opening 4 way could have gone all night and I wouldn't have minded. I'm high on all four of the men involved. Claudio and Chris Hero may well be my two favorite wrestlers at present. Morishima/Danielson was all kinds of wonderful. I loved the story that Morishima had promised not to go after his eye, but after he couldn't put Danielson away after so long he had to resort to the cheap tactics to win the match. Good stuff. The Ladder match doesn't really need any further elaboration, a joy to watch. I don't feel the belt bungle at the end hurt the match at all. Look at it this way, hard fought match and the belts are on tight. Whichever Briscoe it was is throughly worn down, he has kayfabe reason not to be able to get them off immediately. I thought it was a nice little unintentional extra.

Some quick thoughts: - Can't wait to see Danielson vs Necro and Danielson vs. Jacobs. Some good fresh matches for Dragon there. - 4-3 in only a 30 minute Iron Man match sounds slightly excessive, I'm sure it will play out fine on DVD though. - Claudio so far down the card: boo to that I say. - I know Unscripted 3 was a bit of a mess, but it seems odd to have Claudio and Hero go 2 out of 3 falls the card before their big grudge match. From the sounds of the newswire etc. sounds like the Trios Tournie is definitely going to be rescheduled.

Correct. It's a knock off of No Sleep 'Till Brooklyn by the the Beastie Boys. God sell job by Punk tonight, playing up the neck post match. Apparently Kelly Kelly and Chris Jericho shop at the same store. I like the idea of Shelton being on ECW, him with Burke will be good news and it cures what was seen as Benjamin's biggest weakness in his mic skills. I like that he was given pyro upon his entrance, it immediately makes him seem like a bigger deal. Not sure about the new finisher though. Was it me or was the crowd for this show unusually dead?

Would anyone suggest Wrestling Society X?
Garth replied to LivingLegendGaryColeman's topic in General Wrestling
I watched a couple of episodes of WSX and wasn't blown away by any means. However, I loved their tag team division, if just for the different gimmicks.
