For my next pick, I choose: Sterling James Keenan He'll be used as the males singles competitor within the Age of the Fall.
-
You read my mind Kamala.
-
It'll be buzz cuts all around, even for the women. If there's one thing I want on my roster it's rigid sense of discipline that can only be instilled via short hair. In all seriousness, I just hate Roode's hair and think it would also benefit his gimmick to look a little more business like.
-
For my next pick, I choose: Robert Roode He's really dislikeable and I don't have anyone on my roster with a gimmick quite like his. One thing though, if he's on my roster he can say goodbye to that long hair of his.
-
Yeah looks that way to me, by my reckoning you could have picked for around the last 2 hours or so.
-
Okay, I'll take Eddie Kingston - One of the better indy guys left available. Good talker. and GO Shiozaki - One of the rising stars of Pro Wrestling NOAH.
-
For the 423rd pick of the draft, I choose: Rikishi He was consistently one of the most over performers of early 2000, up until the disaster of a heel turn. Whilst more of an entertainer than a great pure wrestler, I still thought hold his end of the bargain in any match. Rikishi will be useful to have around as some to pop the crowd in the opening match, or as someone that can be used to get over any heels on the rise by beating him down and alike.

Damn you Franchise, I really wanted Cody on my roster. Even if it was just to be used in tags with Dusty and to set up feuds with 'The Dream.

Okay theh, as time is up for OOG and Drury still hasn't picked I'm up again. For my next choice I wanted another woman to fill out my division, someone who would be a good match up for Mickie James character wise. There's a female wrestler who I'm a huge fan of that fits this bill perfectly, not only that but she will make a perfect fit alongside some of the other workers I already have. Without further ado, I present to you my 23rd draft choice and and 393rd of the draft: MsChif She is the current reigning SHIMMER champion, NWA Women's World Champion & NWA Midwest Women's Champion. Character wise she is the polar opposite of the perky, happy James. James will be MsChif's natural enemy on my roster. MsChif won't be operating alone though as she will also be the newest member of the Age of the Fall.

I'm really excited for this. I love anything with a bit of NPH.

By my calculations OriginalOrangeGoblin only has about 15 minutes left to make his pick.

With this week at work being so mind numbingly boring I have spent a lot of time thinking of the potential card I will piece together at the end of this, as well as where everybody on my roster. It appeared to me that I needed one last upper mid card heel to even the sides up there. So, with that in mind for the 391sy pick of the draft and my 22nd I choose: Carlito A man that has at times shown he can really go, so long as he's motivated. I plan on having the motivated Carlito in my promotion, circa early 2005 (I think) when he was busting out some cool looking offence. He's a second generation star and would be good news to have around to draw any Puerto Ricans. I know exactly who I want next, but I figured Carlito is seen to be a much bigger star, so I decided to strike here first. I will be forced to end anyone one dares take who I'm thinking of. *shakes fist in general direction of fellow drafters*

Really good choice on Ebessan there Mellow. He's someone I was very much considering getting when it made it back up my end of the draft.
-
She was definitely on my radar, well her and a partner anyway. Back to the drawing board on that plan.

PWG really does seem to have the worst luck in terms of no shows/pullouts/injuries. Pleased to hear about Hero and A.O.T.F taking home gold, big fans of all those guys. The Hero/Tornado feud has sounded like good news, now I'm no longer a poor student might have to get some PWG stuff.

Just out of interest, what would everyone say has been their biggest regret of the draft so far? Was it someone you missed out on picking, or someone you've picked that you're having second thoughts about? Anything like that. Being completely honest, in hindsight, it has to be picking Jeff Hardy as a singles guy rather than as part of the Hardy Boys. At the time I was just absolutely certain that they were worth more as singles than as a unit. However, thinking about it now, it would have really been a bit of a coup to have had one of the most over teams of the last 10 years or so as the centrepiece of my tag division. At the time though my thought process was that I wasn't too bothered about tag teams, but now I think the Hardys could have had some great matches against all the teams I have.
-
Any particular reason? Not high on women's wrestling, or too many male wrestlers you want on your roster?
-
For my next pick I choose: Mickie James My women's division until the point was limited to two so I'm deciding to expand it here a little. Another solid worker that is now on her forth reign as women's champion. Can play both face and heel. Did the whole psycho act a hell of a lot better than another woman I can't mention here. The whole chirpy, happy go-lucky face act will play off great against the ultra serious ass kicker Kong.
-
By my calculations Drury's time has expired and OriginalOrangeGoblin is on the clock.
-
It's funny, originally I wasn't too interested in tag teams but the further we've progressed with this the more interested I've become. I've got at least three more teams I'd quite like in mind at the moment.

Went and saw Beck last Monday at the Southampton Guildhall, which is only about an 800ish capacity venue. It was part of a two date warm up before Beck played a festival over here. It was lots of fun seeing him in what is quite an intimate venue, as I've only seen him at festivals previously. The set was a good range of stuff with I think only 3 songs taken from the forthcoming album. Only track that I was dissapointed wasn't played was 'Sexx Laws' otherwise more or less all the stuff you'd expect got played. Even threw in his cover of 'Everyone's Gotta Learn Sometime' from the Eternal Sunshine soundtrack which was a nice suprise. Support came from Yeasayer, who I missed as I didn't know they were supporting and was in the pub. Damn.

For the 254th pick of the draft I choose: The Human Tornado I thought my roster could use a few more colourful characters and Human Tornado fits the bill perfectly. He'd make a wonderful midcard face. He's not just a gimmick, he can go in the ring and can have good to great matches with all the smaller guys as well as bumping his ass off and get sympathy for any of the bigger ones. I think I know who you're talking about Matzo, and they're certainly on my radar as well, with another pick coming up in 4 rounds as well....

Will do write ups later, sort of busy now. For my two picks: The Backseat Boyz - Trent Acid & Johnny Kashmere & Ricky Marvin & Kotaro Suzuki
-
I'm really tempted to go this, but would likely go to the London event rather than Manchester as it'll be a lot closer and just generally easier/cheaper to get to.
-
For my next pick I'll take another person to add to my junior division, the current NWA World Jr. Heavyweight Champion: Mike Quackenbush
