Huzzah. The FSU Cowgirls will be in the March issue of Maxim and then to complete their 15 minutes of fame in the May issue of Playboy. I'm sure the ABC cameras will be keeping on a eye on them during the Orange Bowl. MAC kinda sucked this year although Northern Illinois deserved to go over someone like Houston. Getting two useful players for one prospect is quite the shocker. Andre Ethier had a breakout year at Double-A but it was also kind of unexpected so who knows if it was a fluke. It'll be interesting to see where all this goes since they were still considered the favorite to sign Frank Thomas.

The New Orleans Bowl webpage is fun. They haven't updated their records page since the 2002 game when the bowl was whole two years old. Dammit innocent children could be visiting the site and think Gino Guidugli holds the record for most passing yards when it's really Danny Wimprine!
