I was going to post it this morning but ESPN still hasn't finalized it's Saturday schedule. I'll edit this post with the complete schedule when they finally make up their minds although I'm guessing they'll give Michigan/Northwestern the 7:45/4:45 slot over South Carolina/Tennessee.

I can not put into words how incredibly stupid it was to hand Alex Smith the starting job. I felt from the very begining they should handle him like the Bengals did with Carson Palmer and sit him the first year. He is simply not ready at all and he is just getting killed out there.

You're not a strong 4-4 but you're not a weak one either. Vern Gagne and DragonLordKaiba are the weakest at 4-4. There's still a lot of room for movement in the contest. The difference between #2 in correct picks and #7 is only two games. #8 is three games.
-
This had the be the widest difference in correct picks all year with several great performances (three 13 out 14's) and several bad ones. I feel bad for teke as 9 out of 14 isn't bad but because of some huge weeks by a few in the contest they were leaped in correct pick % portion of the rankings and take a two spot drop overall. Same thing happend to AlwaysPissedOff. Speaking of which Secret Agent's huge week vaulted them to #2 in correct pick %. They are a sleeper in the contest as their 4-4 record is holding them back. Oh and iggy won't be whining about the rankings, for this week at least. By the slimmest of margins... 1. Georgia Tech - iggymcfly - 2.7 2. Miami - Spaceman Spiff - 2.8 3. Florida - Agent Bond34 - 4.0 4. Ohio State - Gert T - 5.1 5. Alabama - AlwaysPissedOff - 6.15 6. LSU - teke184 - 6.4 7. Syracuse - CanadianChris - 6.8 8. Texas A&M - Secret Agent - 7.2 9. Maryland - MarvinisaLunatic - 9.35 10. South Carolina - Cuban Linx - 10.25

Jenks is a career ruining, John Rocker, type of interview with Sports Illustrated waiting to happen. He's apparantly dumb as a post and there is a rumor, I stress rumor, that he may have been a member of the Aryan Nation at one point. Hell I'm shocked no media outlet has jumped on that one yet.
-
At least for this year. Oklahoma State is serving the role right now. Shame that Vanderbilt's season hit the wall or you could have had them, Rutgers, and possibly Baylor going to bowl games. Rutgers is just about a lock now and Baylor would be a good bet if they win tonight.
-
Edit: I see Bruiser mentioned it already. http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?...SPG6IAQNH81.DTL The guy is a chicken shit who is one of the most hated players in the game by his peers.

STANFORD~ beats Arizona State 45-35 and it wasn't even that close. See they were just trying to make people they sucked by losing UC Davis, ya that's it. Bruins are going down next week!

Just out of curiosity, which teams are currently on probation? (Yes, I'm extremely bored.) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What are the terms of this probation? I understand that I'm on it for missing several weeks, but I had no internet connection, so I had no choice. It won't happen again. Can I still drink while on probation? Jee golly, I hope so. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If you don't submit picks more than one week out of the year you become ineligible to win the contest. The idea being that I want the winner of the contest to have participated the entire year especially since there is money at stake. If there is a lack of bowl eligible teams you still would have a shot of a bowl game if you finish with a winning record but those who played all year will get first crack.

A.J. Pierzynski vs. Roger Clemens. Finally we will know who is the bigger asshole. If you are sick of hearing "pitching wins championships" well this postseason is going to ensure we'll have to hear it for another 20 years based on how these two teams got here.

Georgia Tech/Miami has been postponed due to the hurricane. Game is moved to November 19th, Miami's game against Wake Forest on November 17th is pushed up to the 12th.

I'll just assign you replacement picks while your gone. Of course if it's more than one week you won't be eligible to win the contest...not that you had to worry about that.
