Shouldn't I be 3-1? Uh oh maybe this is revenge for basically stealing your idea.

Personally I think the most interesting part of the story is Sheffield talking about the people at BALCO being Barry's puppets.
-
Just for the record the guy's name is John Thomson not Thompson.
-
I can't find the link but it's true. Jim Norton has made references to it on the show the last couple of weeks.

I really hope the Astros don't make it to the World Series especially against the Yankees and Red Sox. I'm already dreading Fox and ESPN beating to death the Clemens vs. former team angle.
-
The results this early in the season, when most teams have only played four games and a few only three, are irrelevent. That's why they don't release them until late October.

Yeah, my baseball sanity for the season is saved. Now I hope Roger and the Astros go down in flames in the NLDS. It's a long shot but I suppose I'm rooting for a Dodgers/Twins World Series. Rooting for the Dodgers for Paul DePodesta in the N.L. (wouldn't mind the Cardinals with LaRussa and Braves are a good story this year) and the Twins by default in the A.L.

I wouldn't consider ASU a contender. As good as they've played they aren't going undefeated. I hate to say it but damn Cal impressed me today. To go up to Corvallis and just murder the Beavers like they did was incredible. They have the big game next week at USC. My prediciton for the Orange Bowl at the moment is USC or Oklahoma vs. Georgia or Auburn. Law of averages say that USC and Oklahoma as the preseason #1 and #2 won't both go undefeated. Also if Georgia or Auburn go undefeated with the strength of the SEC one of them would get in by default.
-
Wow Mike Nugent actually misses a field goal! Northwestern can win with a score. And touchdown Northwestern and there is the biggest upset of the year to this point. Purdue definently emerges as the favorite in the Big Ten after today.
-
Northwestern intercepts a pass at the goal line. Still up 27-20 with five minutes to go. Edit: Ohio State ties it up with less than two mintues to go.
-
No you need Oregon to win. Mad Dog holds tiebreaker #2 (Orlovsky threw for 238 yards) so if Arizona State wins he wins by tiebreak. ASU is up 14-6 at the half.
-
KSU/A&M is over and safe to say Auburn will win so here are the latest match-ups decided: #10 Notre Dame (Lando Griffin) def. #3 Ohio State (Gert T) #7 Auburn (Agent of Oblivion) def. Tennessee (Kotzenjunge) Maryland (MarvinisaLunatic) def. #9 Oklahoma (Damaramu) Georgia (A_MikeSC) def. LSU (teke184) UCLA (phoenixrising) def. Boise State (Vern Gagne/*dead team*) by tiebreak #4 Syracuse (Canadian Chris) def. Rutgers (the pinjockey)
-
Fresno State is down 28-21 to Louisiana Tech with just about three minutes to go.
-
Wow this day of huge match-ups is turning into a day huge blow outs. Auburn goes up 24-3 on Tennessee.
-
Additional match-ups decided by the South Carolina/Alabama game: #2 Minnesota (Vern Gagne) def. Penn State (therealworldschampion); Vern holds tiebreak West Virginia (Loaded Glove) def. #6 Washington State (bravesfan) Florida State (2GOLD) def. Boston College (HarleyQuinn)

Times are definently bad at UW when Stanford beats them fairly easily without even playing all that well. Stanford is obviously much better this year but UW has just owned them over the years. Cardinal now halfway to a bowl bid.
-
STEVE FINLEY GRAND SLAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hey L.A. Times and ESPN, all you idiots who ripped DePodesta (hey he believes in Moneyball too) how does it feel now??? Assholes by the Bay lose, Dodgers clinch the West...THANK GOD! Pleassssssssssse Astros save my baseball sanity for this year. I hate having to root for any team with Roger Clemens but desperate times call for desperate measures.
-
FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Payroll cut, Beane will leave, .500 baseball next year. Franchsie out of Oakland in three years. FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK.
-
No they need Auburn to win to win by tiebreak. Bad timing for phoenix as Vern takes over Boise and Vern is currently tied for the most picks right so far today.
