The A's franchise is doomed if they don't come back in these last two innings and if the Dodgers choke in the West. This fucking bullpen and Mulder's collapse are costing them the season.

Mulder shouldn't have started tonight, period. He's been finished this year for quite some time. IF the A's some how win the next two games they would be insane to have Mulder on the postseason roster. I left after the 6th tonight. Total playoff amtosphere in the crowd tonight and it was sucked out pretty quick. I saw Angels' owner Arte Moreno in the crowd before the game. He was signing autographs and shaking hands with any Angels fans that made the trip to Oakland. Nice to see an owner who actually appreciates his fans unlike the ones in Oakland. At least the Astros won but I get this queasy feeling that the Assholes by the Bay might sweep the Dodgers.

Dodgers are in the playoffs and the Marlins are not. Assholes by the Bay won so they're tied again. Cubs need miracle. Go Astros. Edit: Wait they kept on saying on Baseball Tonight that the Dodgers clinch the division with the win. I actually assumed they knew what they were talking about. I'm so ashamed. Dodgers haven't officially clinched the West.

Incredible 4th quarter in the Navy/Air Force game. Air Force tied it up 14-14 with about eight minutes to go, Navy answered back with a touchdown, Air Force came right back to tie it 21-21 with two minutes left, and now Navy marches down the field and can win the game on a short field goal. The Navy kicker is 0 for 4 this year. Field goal is good...Navy wins 24-21 and retains the Commander in Chief's trophy.

Tonight should a very entertaining Navy/Air Force game.

I see the Rangers aren't up for playing spoilers as Showalter has half of his starters out of the line-up. Currently tied 1-1 in the 5th. More bad news for the A's, Erubiel Durazo is out of today's line-up with a sore wrist. He's arguably been their best hitter this season.

Redman tommorrow, Mulder Friday. Hey it was a nice little four year run. Ownership will likely cut payroll since they won't get extra postseason revenue this year and Beane would then possibly resign. I'm very likely going to get to watch the Angels win the divsion on Friday, in person on my birthday. Four years ago the A's won the division on my birthday and I also saw that in person. Guess I'm coming full circle.

Well Texas blew it tonight and their season is all but officially over. The A's getting pretty close to that. Holding on to a very shaky 2-1 lead in the 8th, Mariners have 2nd and 3rd with one out. A rare great outing by an A's starting pitcher by Rich Harden but it looks like it might go to waste. If they can't win tonight I think they're done. Oh and the Angels winning also guarentees I won't see any celebration on Friday night. Well I might see the Angels celebrate which I don't plan on hanging around to watch if it happens.
