I'm confused. You didn't want Nixon because of an injury concern but you trade for Jenkins who has never played more than 135 games in the season as he almost literally gets hurt every year. That being said if Jenkins actually stays healthy he will easily out perform Winn overall. Winn is just a slightly above average hitter playing in a pitcher's park.

Who's everyones low seed team that will make it to the Sweet 16 or further? There is always at least one double digit seed who gets to the second week and this year I think the best bet is Western Michigan.

Really no shocker at all as even though talk stalled recently there was never any sign that it wouldn't get done. Jermaine Dye's and Jim Mecir's bad contracts are off the payroll after this year so they are able to do this and they did finally have to keep someone.

I agree with MrRant's sentiments for anyone who hates Carlin. Every time one of his old stand up specials comes on HBO Comedy I'll watch it and I still laugh every time. The man is simply a genius and one of the most influential comedians of all-time.

Everyone's mixed league team should be their best since it only has 11 teams and we drafted from both leagues. Overall I should do well in three out of the four leagues. In the A.L. league my team is pure shit since I forgot about the draft.

VENGEANCE BABY~! Stanford avenges their only loss of the season to beat Washington and definently wrap up a #1 seed in the West Region.

After last night's win Washington is now up to #67 in the RPI so they won't break New Mexico's record for lowest RPI to get an at-large, if they don't beat Stanford today. Oh and again everyone who says St. Joe's isn't getting a #1 seed isn't looking at the facts. They are still #3 in the RPI and have the #1 non-conferece strength of schedule. That's a slam dunk #1 seed.

Exactly. At this point all anyone can do is make a trade just for the sake of making a trade which is lame. Jeez the season still doesn't start for another 18 days and that's only for the two games in Japan.

I posted this on the league board too but the autodraft didn't give me a closer so I'll definently be listening to trade offers to get one. My biggest dissapointment about my team is I didn't get MY BOY~ Nick Johnson. Damnit I knew I should have pre-ranked him just a little higher.

No they play 20 games in Puerto Rico although Olympic Stadium is a hitter's park as well although not quite to the extreme of Hiram Bithorn.

St. Joe's is still a #1 seed and I doubt the committee will overreacte to this loss although they might be put a tougher #2 seed in their region now. Just another reason why I hate conference tournaments. Why does St. Joe's have to still win the Atlantic 10 after going undefeated? They had absolutely nothing to prove by winning the A-10 tournament. Same goes for Stanford or any other team that won their regular season conference title easily. Maryland is a Top 30 RPI team so they aren't on the bubble even if they lose to Wake Forest.

I kinda had a feeling they'd reach agreement no later than this weekend. With March Madness starting next week I knew CBS wouldn't want to be losing viewers in both New York and L.A. since both markets lost their CBS station. Two days without Comedy Central was enough for me.

It's counter productive to have half your pitchers be relievers since relievers won't win many games and don't pitch enough to have a good strike out total, outside of Eric Gagne. Fair analysis of my team but Al left out something...he HOPES I struggle! He fears my team I can feel it.
