I'll just say neither team deserves to win tonight. The A's have had a ridiculous amount of mental errors and the Red Sox got lucky on the interference call and their childish behavior is a sign of a desperate team.

Errr Virginia Tech won 48-22. Florida just lost at home to The Confederates 20-17. Time to update your resume Ron Zook. Colorado loses to BAYLOR, 42-30. Wow Colorado sucks this year. What could end up being the biggest upset of the day, Navy beat Air Force 28-25.

Oregon lost to Utah 17-13. On the surface this is an upset but Utah is a good team and Oregon really isn't. I was unimpressed with them before the Michigan game and I'm still shocked they won that game and Michigan's national title hopes are going down the tubes with each Oregon loss and believe me there will be more. Wouldn't be surprised if they don't finish in the Top 5 in the Pac-10.

Giambi was out but just barely. I don't see the A's having a repeat of the type of heartbreaking loss in Game 3. The A's were basically done after that as they came out completely flat in Game 4 the next day and then of course lost Game 5. Difference this time its their opponent that has had the heart breaking loss and the Red Sox looked pretty flat yesterday.

Semi related to this is NBC has a new dramatic series in the works that will be based on the life Jeanie Buss, the daughter of the owner of the Lakers who dates Phil Jackson and Phil's character will be in the show and will be based on real life events with the Lakers. God I'm glad I almost never watch network t.v. anymore.

I think Game 3 is almost as an important for the A's as it for the Red Sox just so the A's get rid of any mental block they might have when it comes to finishing a series. If they finish it off Saturday I think they can win it all. I will say this that it brings a smile to my face all those "experts" on ESPN picking the Red Sox and seeing 90% of the people here picking the Red Sox.
