Besides I can't even see them play since the tournament is carried by HDNet. Edit: Wrong thread And I'll answer Kotz's question: No. It's always between who the committee deems the two worst teams in the tournament. It's basically the Special Olympics of the NCAA tournament.

I think this year they dropped the pre-registering thing as I never saw anything about signing up for it. Amazingly it's still free. Even if they charged $5 for the whole tournament they'd make a killing.

CollegeInsider.com Tournament pairings are out! I guess this tournament's point is to only invite mid-major schools which actually makes it kind of cool. The CBI on the other hand is frantically trying to get major conference schools to accept invites and has no problem inviting those with losing records. Alabama, Cincinnati, and Vanderbilt have all turned down invites to the CBI so far. All that is posted on the CIT website is the schedule as I don't know if there's any actual bracket. Last Four In Arizona Wisconsin Dayton Maryland San Diego State, St. Mary's, Creighton, and Penn State were likely the first four out.

Ohhh they do have a cam on Penn State and St. Mary's! They were just teasing us earlier. I do hope the Gaels get in as I'd like a Bay Area school who isn't Cal in the tournament.

Maryland makes it and is in easily. Hopefully they fuck Cal up.

That's been my proposal for a while. The play in game should be a true play in game between the last two bubble teams for the last #12 seed. It would be a hundred times more interesting than the current set up.

The end of the ESS EEE SEE finals has just been bizarre. And Mississippi State just eliminated another bubble team, I'm guessing Creighton.

Lunardi has them as the last team out. I saw that which made absolutely no sense because before the Mountain West finals he had them in. How is losing to a good Utah team by two points a bad thing? It's not like it hurt their strength of schedule. Maybe he projected the Aztecs to beat Utah and get the automatic bid. Utah State appears to have things under control at Nevada but still a lot of time remaining. Assuming they win that will leave Mississippi State in the SEC finals tomorrow to hold the fate who whoever is the last at large team out there.

Puerto Rico already up 5-0 (make it 6-0) and still batting in the 2nd.

And that probably officially ends Arizona's 24 year tournament run as I don't see the Pac-10 getting six teams in a down year. Baylor loses to Missouri so no bubble team loses a spot there. Only game left tonight with bubble team implications is the WAC finals where Utah State might need to win to get in although with 29 wins I'd be surprised if the committee left them out. Obviously Nevada has to win to get in but it will be a home game for them. Edit: San Diego State is currently trailing in the Mountain West finals but I think they are already in.

We've now had two upsets in the A-10/14 semis as Duquesne beats Dayton which means another bubble team at large bid is gone, although Dayton is considered a bubble team by some but I think they are pretty secure. San Diego State beats #25 BYU 64-62 to advance to the Mountain West finals and that probably gets them off the bubble and into the tournament.
